On my way to 63kgs

Sounds like you had tons of fun! And you looked awesome lady!

Your hubby is such a sweetie to take care of your dad so you could have a couple nights off for some much needed fun. Gotta luv them guys like that!

He's the best :D
The celebrations carried on yesterday. One of my neices made a cake for my other neice that got married so yesterday the family all got together at my place to drink champagne, eat the cake and watch the photos and videos of the Las Vegas wedding and this weekends wedding dinner.
I ate a good sized lump of cake but ate very little for the rest of the day so no damage done. It's holiday time here as Monday and Wednesday are bank holidays so most people have taken today off as well to make a 5 day 'weekend'. The sun has come out today and it's much warmer so we will get some gardening in and then a walk by the sea later on.:)

Hey ecky, you've done a really incredible job so far, looking great in your picture! good luck with the remainder of your target, got a specific date for when you'd like to get there or just taking it as it comes?

Thankyou :)
I've got ages to go and only have about 13 or 14 lbs left to lose. My son is getting married at the beginning of July so I just need to lose it by then although I hope to lose it well before then. I feel ok with the weight I am now so if I see that I start to get too old and wrinkly looking then I will stop before then. I have purposely had a few months of maintanance to give my skin a chance to tighten up a bit before losing any more weight.
I had a good day eating wise after a few days of indulgence.
I'm finding it really easy to get back on track after meals out, parties etc. In the past that was always a good excuse to go back to my old ways but now I just automatically go back to healthy eating.
Both nights that I went out at the weekend I started off looking nice but ended up looking a bit frumpy and I've realized it is because of badly fitting bras. I start with my boobs up nice and high and as the evening goes on the bras strap rides right up my back making my boobs sag at the front. I am so looking forward to my trip to the Bravisimo shop next month thanks to Jjjay :D

My husband has been dropping hints and I think that he might be getting me a treadmill for christmas :D I really need to get running again!!!!!! I loved it so much but haven't done it for ages!!!

OMG! You look so sexy and fashionable and young and thin! I love how that red dress fits you. And your hair is amazing! Those bangs are just adorable (I guess you'd call it a "fringe"?)

Your hard work is really paying off...your confidence really shines through in your photos, Val!

That would be so awesome for you!!! I love mine and can't imagine NOT having it any more. The only thing I don't like right now is that I wish it went faster - I would like to work on increasing my speed, but I've topped out already.

Have those of you with young children Jay, Tiggy, Rox etc seen this Santa message? It's the best one I've ever seen as it can be personalized with photos, details of the child and important events and include how they have behaved and how you want them to behave. I did it for my friends 2 little girs and they really believed that Santa was talking to them.

You need to register if you want to send the link to an e.mail address even your own but you can try it without registering.

Thanks for you compliments Jess, Rox, and Aussiegirl:)

Thanks so much for that link - I tried it out for one of my girls and it was ADORABLE!!!! I'll have to do one for each of them - they'll love it!!!

I had to share the link as it is one of the best of these sort of things that I have seen and so believable.:)
The little girls that I did it for were so surprised that Santa had photos of their birthdays and trip to Disney and that he knew the name of their hamster. It was so cute to see their faces and they kept answering him. The little one looked quite guilty when he asked if she'd been good and the older one looked really proud when he said that she had to help take care of her little sister over the holidays.:)

Hiya Eycky!

Missed ya bud! But I had a few minutes to skim back a few posts and had to say....You are gorgeous! My goodness....you have to be proud of yourself!

I hope you are doing ok....catch up with ya soon.
Hugs!

Hi Eycky, That looks like a great link. You never know it may help with getting our 2 younger GK's to modify their behaviour & should be fun. I'll give it a try later today. You look great in that dress (confident & happy :D.) I love dancing too! You deserve to have some time for fun & it's lovely that you have a supportive husband who helps you to do so, xo Cate.
PS If I don't do something very soon I'm going to have to get some of those zip-up knickers! NY resolution coming up!

hey Ecky - thanks for the link - I'll try it out later on this weekend.

Ooooh a treadmill - how exciting! I am so jealous - I wish I had room indoors for one.

Very jealous of your treadmill. I have grown to despise my crosstrainer. Although I suspect similar feelings of rage would emerge should I purchase a treadmill. Angry at exercise!

Lovely link, by the way!

Wow thanks for that link! That is awesome...I want to do it for my nephews.

I had to scroll up after scanning comments and see you in your red dress :) You looked hot! I can't imagine how good it feels to be able to buy clothes and look GOOD in them...you gotta be on cloud nine! Such an inspiration :)

Thank you all for your nice comments, especially Flumsey, you always know how to make everybody feel good about themselves :D
I had a party at my house on Saturday and drank too much wine which resulted in me eating too much pizza and quiche.
I got two really good walks in with my husband on Sunday and Monday. I love going with him as he pushes me really hard and finds really good places to walk with lots of rock climbing, stairs, hills etc whereas if left to me I tend to choose easy terrain. Both walks were along the coast and we were going up and down into different bays and it was really enjoyable. I love the fact that we talk so much when we walk instead of sitting watching tv and only talking in the adverts!!

Your walks sound lovely! I've been thinking about joining a walking group or some kind of group that gets out and does physical activity together - maybe next summer though I'm a wimp in the winter. What you described with your husband sounds like the best date in my mind.
Tis the season for wine!

Hi Eycky, That walk sounds lovely! You & I are both lucky to have lovely husbands that we want to talk to & who want to spend time with us :) Thanks for always visiting me in my diary xoxo Cate
