On my way to 63kgs

WOW Eycky! Great picture! You look amazing (and daughter too of course). The dress looks like it won't fit for long though - if it weren't for the straps it might fall off!

Its much deserved Eycky!!

You keep doin what you're doin, eatin' what you're eatin, postin what your postin..........and you'll keep gettin what you're gettin!! :sifone:

Have a great day!

Val, I love the picture! You look SO GOOD! OMG I'm totally jealous! :) But very happy for you!

You make me believe that I can do this too. I see your success and realize that I can have that too if I just keep moving forward. :D Thank you!

Hi eyckmans, You have inspired me to start looking for a similar dress. I have a dinner to go to in October, that requires really dressing up & I'm trying to picture myself in something similar. If I found the right dress that would really inspire me to look my best & get back down to my goal weight. You look sensational! Love your shiny hair too! xo Cate

Eycky, you look FANTASTIC in the dress - you've come such a long way (even in terms of feeling comfortable posting up photos of yourself!). As Chubbygirl said, looks like you're going to need a smaller dress soon! Yay for getting to enjoy shopping after weight loss rather than it being an awful and traumatic chore because nothing fits!!

Thank you all so much. :D
I have spent so many years looking frumpy and unfeminine with boobs so big that they made me look fatter than I actually was that it was wonderful to go out and feel feminine. There are actually about 12 people in that photo and the fact that I let somebody take it without hiding behind the others or just walking off shows how far I have come :D

It's great to see you looking so beautiful and happy. You and your daughter are both lovely, really.

Your arms and shoulders look so thin!

And ITA that your dress will soon be much too big. Time to get you into some more fitted things!

Thanks Rox, At the moment the only fitted things I wear are my gym clothes but once the weather gets cooler I'll start to wear fitted trousers without the huge baggy tops that I've been used to wearing for years.

Had a good day. I went to the gym and the air con was working for the first time in 3 weeks. I ran for 6.5 kms and broke my previous record of 6 kms :):):)
I hadn't managed to run more than 4 kms recently and was getting really frustrated. I didn't realize what a difference the air conditioning makes.
Yesterday I had the best compliment ever. I was looking after my friends 2 little girls. We often sing a song called Jelly on the Plate and when we get to the line Wibble Wobble Wibble Wobble we wobble my tummy fat. Yesterday we sang it and the 3 year old started to wobble my stomach then she looked up at me with a disgusted look and said - 'It's not working properly' and refused to sing anymore. :D

LOL! That's adorable! :hurray: And kudos to you for ruining all that wibbley wobbly belly fat!

I love it!! Congratulations on no longer having a wibble wobble stomach! WEE HOO!!! xo Cate

I've been very naughty with my eating. On Friday my guests arrived and we went out for a meal and then yesterday was my sisters birthday so we went out again. They also brought me loads of chocolate and crisps from England. I have been giving away as much as possible but couldn't resist eating some and also my absolute favourite twiglets. Luckily they are small packets with about 100 cals each. I've now bagged up all the rest and will give it to my son when he comes on Monday. My ex father in law also baked me a date and walnut loaf and sent it over. I had one slice and then put the rest in the freezer and will bring it out when there are enough people here that I will only get a slice. I would eat the whole loaf in 2 days if I left it out.
It frightens me when I get food that I don't usually eat as I realize how easy it would be to go back to my old ways.
Today and tomorrow are my husbands days off so we will probably go and work out in the sea today and go to the gym tomorrow. I'm looking forward to the cooler weather when I can get out walking with him. We do so much talking as we walk without the distractions of the rest of the family and the TV.

Oh god, twiglets are AMAZING. Marmite is amazing! Dont worry about slipping up a little--the important thing is that you're giving away the rest of the stuff before you really fall off the wagon! That's something to be proud of!

Well done on managing all that crazy food! It was a good idea to have some and then get the rest out of your immediate access. If you hadn't had any, you would feel deprived and more tempted.
Instead, you enjoyed some and then put it away.
Victory!

BTW- I adore the "Jelly on the Plate" story. So cute! I guess you'll have to find a new game to play with the girls now:)

Hiya Eycky baby!

6km huh?? (insert descriptive female canine curse here) lol <j/k>

I think that is just amazing! Truly amazing! Fantastic! <Insert big pat on the back here!!>

And it sounds like you had a nice weekend with visitors. I'm sure your next couple days of exercise will correct it.

Hope you have a great relaxing time with your hubby. Again...the sea sounds wonderful when ever you mention it. Enjoy!

Take care!!

LOL Flumes! Too funny!

Eycky I think we have to treat ourselves once in a while, otherwise this lifestyle change won't be maintainable for the rest of our lives. I don't think we should ever make ourselves feel deprived. We just have to be smart about our choices. And eating those treats WAS a choice. It's wasn't a compulsion like what you may have given in to as your old unhealthy self. Your new healthy self had a few treats in moderation - so great job! You've come this far and I have every confidence in you to keep going indefinately with this healthy lifestyle.

LOL, and it was 6 and a half actually ;)
If the air con is still going today then I'm going to try for 7 kms. I'm not determined to reach my goal of 8 km before the end of next month. :D

I agree that we have to treat ourselves but the last couple of weeks it has been happening a little bit too often. I'm not to worried though as I KNOW that come the end of September I will be completely back on track and lose that last bit of weight before the end of the year. I will probably gain a bit at christmas and then again a couple of weeks later when I go on holiday and then have until my son's wedding in July to get really slim.
I'm not bothered about small weight gains over the course of my life as long as they are temporary blips and that I get straight back to normal after the special occasion that caused it. I think that once maintanence is reached it won't be about obsessing over every lb but just making sure that as soon as a few lbs go on then something is done about it before it gets to be problem. On the other hand maybe I'm completely wrong and I will need to obsess over every lb to make this work, but I won't know until I get there.
