Omega's journey

No need to sacrifice your shreddies! :svengo:

The next time H complains about you not being around as much as he'd like, just ask him why he cares, since he's more interested in playing computer games than your company. :D

You know how some people like to have their cake and eat it.
My husband likes to have his cake and eat it, have any other cake going, play computer games and have my company.

MMMM...That all sounds DELICIOUS! What are clementines? I'm sorry, I think I should this. YAY! Almost 147! I feel like I should present you with a plaque or a trophy or something, I can't believe it. Before I met you, and a handful of other people on this board, I had never heard of such amazing weight loss. I'm just so inspired by your journey! Great GREAT GREAT!

Hi Carrie

I am at the stage when I wonder about the 147.0 thing every time that I get on the scales. It is just such an exciting milestone for me.

Clementines are a kind of little orange.

Believe that the weightloss that you desire is achieveable - and with hard work (consistent food control and exercise) you will get there too. I still have a way to go to get to where I want to be - but I can feel that I am really getting there this time.

Take care
Love
Margaret

Admittedly - I weighed on absolute empty

This is the biggest milestone ever - at 147.0 I was exactly half my start weight.
I am half the woman that I was 14 months ago.
When I look into the mirror - I can see what the weight that I have lost looks like.

I'm so pleased for you Margaret! Life must be so much easier without having to drag all that excess baggage around. That gets damn tiring! Good for you for changing your life so dramatically. We are all very proud of you.

146!! WooooooHoooooooooo!! Let the party begin!!

:party::party::party::party::party::party::party: :party:

That is such a huge accomplishment, Margaret. I am so happy for you!

I'm eating honey shreddies in your honor. :D

Now, post some pics. :)

Thanks for your congratulations. I have to admit - I am feeling pretty pleased with myself.

:party::party::party:

As ever - with weighing every day I know that I will drift up - but that doesnt worry me.

I havent had a photo taken yet - but I promise to get one done soon in my new jeans. When I have a photo it will be posted.

Claudia - The funny thing is that I wouldnt want to carry around someone my weight for 10 minutes now. It is hard to believe that I effectively did that 24/7/365. People hear of my walking and say that I must be fit now - but I must have been pretty fit then to cope with that kind of weight training.

Cerella - Thanks. Birthday greetings.

Kimberly - Thanks. I have been eating honey shreddies too!

WOW, MARG!! This is so AMAZING!!! I'm so very, very happy and proud of you!

You're lighter than I am now even! I mean WOW, this is just such awe-inspiring, motivational news! I can't believe you lost half a person. I can imagine why you would feel such self-accomplisment as you do. Big hugs, chica for this milestone. Bask in it, feel proud of it. You definitely deserve it!

You Are Only Half the Woman That You Used To Be.

We Are Very Pleased About This Because...

You Are Now Twice The Woman That You Used To Be!

Well done, Margaret. It is sooooo amazing!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ACK! That is incredible, Margaret!!! I hope you go out and do something extra special for yourself today! Buy an adorable dress! Or go to the doctor and MAKE him check your weight JUST to enjoy the feeling of not being ashamed. You are marvelous and this milestone is just....:willy_nilly: (a word has not been made up for what this milestone is!) LOL

Thanks for more congratulations. I have to say that I am still really pleased with myself. It feels like I have done something that I almost thought was an impossible task. I weigh myself every day so know not to be disappointed when my weight goes up today.

I did all my normal walks and havent eaten anything out of the normal to celebrate (although as ever - I do eat quite a lot of healthy stuff) so I know that if my weight does go up it is just in the nature of day to day fluctuations.

Rae - Remember - I may weight less than you - but you are a lot slimmer than me. You are 5ft10 if I remember right and I am 5ft3.
Yuliana - You say the sweetest things.
Carrie - It never ceased to amaze me when I was big that the doctor always found it necessary to mention that it would be good if I could lose some weight. Almost like a larger person couldnt work that much out for themselves.

HI

CONGRATS

thats a great acheivement in 14 months you must feel over the moon
im so happy for you :hurray::hurray:

Sarah

I know you don't have many pictures from your biggest times, but I think to celebrate "Halfdom" we do need a pic of you and of half-you!
How many people can actually say: I am half the woman I used to be?? Not many!!! Not at all many! Albeit probably many can say "I am twice the woman I used to be" ;)!

You are such an inspiration... I have had a plateau-month (although it isn't really a plateau if I did not work on my weight loss, right?? IT was more of a mental and physical standstill of things!) and you just motivated me so much that this evening I will go and work out hard. I want to be almost there too (like you are)! So thank you very much for being such a wonderful motivator!

Thanks for visiting.

Sarah

Thanks for your congratulations.

Camy

Thanks for your congratulations too. I am pleased that you are remotivated. We all need motivation to be able to stick at the task because it does take hard work to get results. You saw the last photos that I posted. I will be posting some more soon. I just need to get hubby to take my photo and we will be sorted. I have precious few of my larger days - I think that I have spent the last twenty-something years hiding from the camera.

Take care
Love
Margaret

MARGARET!!

You lost half of your original body weight =D
Totaly fantastic! WELL DONE!!!

And your BMI - I remember not so long ago when it went under 30. Soon you will have a BMI that is in the healthy range =D Ithink anyone in need of a bit of insparation to loose weight should just take a look at how well you are doing.

WELL DONE AGAIN!!

So did you get Rod to take a pic of you in your sexy jeans over the weekend??

If I had reached that milestone, I would surely have used it as an excuse to pig out. I hope you ate some extra honey shreddies at the very least to celebrate. :biggrinjester:

Thanks for visiting.

Becky

Thanks for your congratulations. I am hitting major milestone after major milestone at the minute. I have just realised that I am only a few pounds away from losing 150 pounds and that is a nice round number. Then I have the normal BMI thing not long after that. I love milestones. I have to say that I have had so much pleasure from this half my start weight one. It is such a surreal idea that I have lost one of me.

Kimberly

No photos taken so far. I am sitting here in my jeans suggesting to him that he takes my photo and he is watching television saying he wants the pc to play games and wants me to make his meal.

Hopefully he will help me later with that. He claims he has had a busy day at work.

I have to admit that I had 3 handfuls of honey shreddies yesterday and 3.5 handfuls today - so I suppose that you could say that I have been really pigging out (as far as I allow myself).

Take care

Jeez, demanding, isn't he? :D Tell him you'll give him the pc and make his dinner if he'll snap a few pics.
