I imagine that man on "how to look good naked" will be very successful with the men in the gay community - because anyone that can make other people feel that good about themselves deserves to be appreciated.

I do hope that salmon works for you. Since you weigh every day it is easy to do an analysis of what you eat and the next day's weight variation. I also store most of the other obvious variables - exercise done, period info, toilet habits. I like to try and understand as much about my weight fluctuations as possible.

don't worry about the weight. it doesn't count for much of the points anyway unles you gain loads lol!

Hi Angel

You know what it is like when your body says it is that time of the month to retain water. The weight goes up!

I just had a really good keep fit class. It is a new term so there are whole new aerobics routines and it was tons of fun.

It looks like a few people on my team have caved in to temptation and eaten junk at times. I would be very surprised if I caved in to temptation because I do so extremely rarely - I normally never allow myself junk. Kimberly has confirmed that all my naughty things are fine (like raisins). My exercise is complete - but I expect that most people will get their 5 hours done which is the max that counts for points.

I think that weight will be what I drop points on and my weight is going up again today. I keep thinking I have to put on 2 pounds and someone that has eaten junk once lose 2 pounds for them to do better. If I get knocked out that is the way it goes. I keep telling my body to stop retaining water - but it doesnt seem to be listening.

Yeah, I'm sure that weight will drop as quickly as it went up, as you have mentioned many times before that you go up a few days and then down, but look how much you have lost in the past year, now that to me is just mind blowing, you have done so well, as I know you will continue to do so.

Yep, same here. I keep trying to figure out how to do a challenge without a weekly loss component, but I haven't come up with any brilliant ideas so far.

wow 5 hours already!!! well done! i think i'll just about manage the 3 1/2 hours (120 done so far) 3 days to go! i think my body is not sure weather to retain or not. i have days when i ma really bloated and then others when all i do is visit the toilet! its wierd!

I suppose the secret is in years of feeling that something was impossible and then coming to the conclusion that it was not impossible - just very very difficult. The possible but difficult - I can do, the absolutely impossible is another matter.

Whenever I do have something bad I forgive myself immediately and that kind of stops the rot from setting in. When I am bad I am often very bad. That is one reason that I try to avoid certain things - I am not good at setting limits for myself.

The weight thing is more annoying than anything as I know that it is just a "time of month" thing. I know that it is not fat accumulation.

I will allow a photo to be taken soon - we havent taken any since the last one that I posted. I promise to send you a pm or mention it in your diary as soon as a photo goes up.

My long walk each day is always over 2 hours long. My short walks each day are always over an hour.

I did an exercise class which was supposed to be an hour and a quarter and over-ran.

woah!!! that is amazing! unbelievable! i can't even imagine spending that much time on excercise! aww if only excercise points counted for any amount. you would be acing this challenge!

Hi there, it's good to see another Brit on the site.

Your doing ever so well. Keep up the good work, I'm a bit of a fair weather exerciser, but the weather in Yorkshire is normally that miserable I don't think many people would blame me too much!

You can pretty much reckon on 3 hours a day - so that is 3 *7 = 21
Now we are in term time so I have
Mon - keep fit
Tues - yoga
Fri - keep fit
even if you strip out things like meditation and admin and round down we are still left with an hour each so an average week should be 24 hours.

It will only be 23 hours this week as we had no keep fit last fri as term only started today.

In the last challenge there was one week where Kimberly gave the bonus as doing extra exercise. I was more than happy with that bonus.

Thanks for visiting. Being a geordie I know all about bad weather. I was walking up there over Christmas - but am back home now in the outskirts of west London.

The weather is a little warmer than Newcastle - but I still dont think that it warrants it's "sunny south" reputation. I sometimes think that I was lured to the south east under false pretences.

that'll be good for you if she does that this time. im sure she will!! that'll boost your points. good for you! you basically do a day of excercise a week at minimum!! thats brilliant!

I was so pleased, I practically danced of the scales! It also means I have lost 10% of my original weight (meaning I get a free week) which is some sort of government initiative I think.
Thank you for you support, I havent felt this excited about loosing weight ever before.

I cannot tell you how pleased I am for you. Losing 7.5 pounds is an amazing achievement. You are really doing so well. I remember you recently made the posting:

Exercise is like a part-time job for you! Thanks for replying! I am the same way about having to just avoid temptations all together. I do better with none than some.

In all honesty - I need the exercise to get what most people consider a normal rate of weight loss. Otherwise the PCOS works against me and I end up losing next to nothing no matter how good I am with counting calories.

I have been there too many times before and done that! It is worth the exercise if it gives me the results that I want.
