Older, Wiser, but still fat...

Karl

You will soon be in the 290's then there will be no looking back, spinning bikes are just the biz, well done you for being open to change buddy.

Keep it up Karl, it can sometimes feel like a long road but once there, it may well just make a bigger difference than we first anticipated.

:cheers2:

I've had a weekend of drunkenness and debauchery, so any loss this week will be miraculous, any gain will be well deserved.

I have done my best to add in the exercise though so I'll probably just end up maintaining.

I dun okay. I'm down one pound. This given my weekend excesses is more than I could hope for. I also rode for 1:45 - 27.5 miles tday.

Had an amazing ride today. I did 25 miles in 91 minutes. Yeah that's right 25 miles at 16.5 mph. Three words; fastest - time - ever... at least for me. Really enjoying my new found abilities here. I guess I had them hiding in a pack of cigarettes and a burger before.

Oh yeah, and for the strong of stomach - I posted a new pic of me in my profile album. Complete with spandex bike shorts... :D

Slept like crap. Went for a ride this afternoon tired. Didn't think I'd get much done and it started raining 8 miles in.

It cleared up, I started to get a second wind, and pulled off 20.5 miles. Not bad for the workout that I didn't expect was going to happen for me.

Ooh, saw this on my ex-wife's Facebook page (we get along very well). We'll see if this works.

Tequila Video that gives you Confidents in Life

You have face book?Let me know if ya wanna be friends...

Good job on your work out, I know how hard it tis to push yourself and when you have a bad sleep and work the grave yards, way to go...

Im working on posting agian...

Things with me have been good, I have a crazzzy life as you know...Adding a man in there makes it crazier...well we arent offical or anything funny cuz he spends all his time tlaking to me and seeing me but guys are funny that way, I dont care cuz im a lil scared adn once he decides he wants a relationship i will ahave to make a decision, LOL...

So...

I never bother updating my ticker during the week usually because it can fluctuate so much by the time I get done with the weekend. I dio usually weigh in every day though, it's kind of my control thing, my OCD I guess.

This week has been a little bit of steady improvement every day. Today I got on the scale and it said 304. I got off and did it again, then one more time.

I updated my ticker. That is 85 lbs lost since the start of my project and I'm psyched. It has been a long time coming. This weekend contains no traps for me. No BBQ's, no friends coming by, just the normal stuff. There should be no reason I can't at least maintain that number over the weekend, if not beat it.

I'm a happy man.

And so you should be a happy man Karl, excess weight we all know has some amazing affects on our lives, many many benefits of losing and keeping it off.

If I could push you to make that 304 slightly less rather than sticking I would, you have the perfect weekend to keep it going, keep it going.......

Brilliant so far, that is a huge huge weight loss overall, keep reminding yourself of that Karl & pat yourself on the back, we all know this isn't easy.

Machine I'm not so sure about. Mechanicaly I'm not quite there.

I'm kind of like an old car that someone is finally taking the time to overhaul, little by little, while still using it to commute with. Still needs work but runs well enough to keep driving.

Lisa, Lisa!! Yay!!!

Are ya gonna come hang out for a bit? I'll have to poke around and see if you're doing something in your neighborhood.

I took a hiatus, got a little nuts, ate too much, but I'm back now and doing well.

Hey Karl, I'm stopping by to say hello! 85 pounds... WOW! I'll probably be in and out of here more often... or at least I'm hoping to be. Looks like you are doing really well. Keep up the good work, and hopefully we can find time to join a challenge together! *hugs*

I'm in a challenege now for the rest of August with Maragaret (Omega) and doing pretty well. Read back a bit, look who else popped in, Lisa! Maybe we can get some of the old friends abck on track here?

I think it would be great to get some old people back on track. I'm really going to need some help in that area! lol.... I have to admit that my will is there... but its having a hard time getting started. I'll figure it out, its balancing exercise, with home life, with full time work... I KNOW you know what I'm talking about. Keep it up Karl!
