Hey everybody, thanks for stopping by to check on me....I've been feeling pretty yucky and then my little one caught whatever it was I had and we missed our first day of second grade today. :( Did not go over well with her but she simply couldn't go. She called her teacher and asked that her homework be sent home to her, that helped to soothe her some...but boy is she cranky when she has to miss school. She is sooo unlike her mother. :eek: At any rate, she's reading and I'm supposed to be preparing for tomorrow. Given that I haven't eaten very much I should be down that half a pound by now, but I was getting too dependent on my two scales :eek: so I took them back. Now I have no way of knowing how much I weigh until I get to work or Curves. So, I guess I'll see in the morning.

Oh well, I hope everyone has been well the last few days.:)
 
Hey Chicky...Do you know how much calories are burnt during hte Curves work out ??? Sparks says it is only 200 or 208 or somethign like that but I dont buy it...According to Sparks my 50 mins of Yoga is like 250 cals...Hope all is well wiht you you havent been around...I hope you are ok...

I think that number is if you go into Curves and just go through the motions. In my Curves book I think it says you can burn up to about 500 calories if you push yourself against those machines. I know some women that come in and don't really work out, they barely work the machines and pretty much stand on the cardio pads. I wouldn't imagine they'd burn even 200 cals.

I'll check and let you know when I have a bit more time, but I'm pretty certain that's what it said.
 
You guys and gals have nothing to worry about...outside of an occassional illness I'm not going anywhere! *hugs*...oops, hope I don't get you sick! :eek:
 
Well, I'm back in the saddle...hanging off, but I'm here. Had a little bit a late start. Breana had a bad nose bleed this morning as we were getting ready for school....always something I tell ya. But we made it here and now it's time for make up for lost time...UGH! How can so much STUFF accumulate in just ONE day! Had I been here there would not be the many emails, calls and "emergencies"...relative of course. *sigh* Oh well...I'm off to meetings and hunting people down to follow up on these fires that I wasn't here to put out. They sell barrels ... but dang they are expensive.. :D

DANG! I can't even afford to escape and potentially drown myself! :eek: :p :p Why the heck are barrels so expensive? I never knew that... but then again, why would I have needed to? :p
 
Dang barrels are expensive!! My dad wants to set upsome barrels for homemade wine in our basement. He's not going to like that pricetag...lol

hey, just dropped in to say hi, wow-only half a pound to go till your goal weight!! great job !

Well hi there! Yea, only half a pound, I'm nervous as heck about losing it. I couldn't work out yesterday because my daughter was home sick and couldn't do my walk today because she got sick at the end of the day and had to leave early. I guess I'd better do a cardio work out with FitTV and/or break out my weights and do some strength training. I can't let all of these obstacles get in my way.
 
Hey fsaiidni, do you have a diary? I just went looking for it and couldn't find it, I went back 10 pages and got tired of looking. :eek: Did I overlook it?
 
Wow! You are so impresive! I can't wait for my goal weight to be in sight! You aren't going to abandon us when you reach it are you?
