Hey OHD!!! What's new??? How's "the maintenance road"?? I've stayed at my 50lb loss for a month now!! Need to lose about 5 more....oh well.
 
Hey everybody!! Feeling much better than I did earlier today? Didn't get to eat much today, was waaaay busy, but I got my exercise in...walked 3.2 miles in 45 minutes. Woo Hoo! I about froze to death but it felt really good afterwards.

Beckster - I'm holding on girl! I think I might've lost some more inches if not pounds because I have some clothes that fit a little looser. :D Yayy Me! Congrats to you girlie! You're holding on, WAY TO GO!!!

I'm with Tammy those ice cold walks are going to do me it. I actaully had to do Yoga because it was just too cold out when I wanted to walk. Yoga was good but not the same... I walked anyway..lol. Have a great Thursday!! :D:D
 
Hey ladies, thanks for coming by...yea those walks are brutal, but I'm going to do it as long as I can take it! I put on my sexy pants this morning, since my daughter and I have a special evening planned, and how upset was I that they are TOO BIG! I just knew they fit but they don't and I didn't have time to iron something else so I'm wearing pants that are too big for me right now and they don't have belt holes or whatever you call them so they look just horrible. I'm happy in one regard but sad in the other b/c I really wanted to look nice tonight and now I look a hot mess with the seat of my pants floating b/w my knees like this! UGH

Gonna have to run home and put jeans on afterwork to wear out tonight...which I really didn't want to do, but oh well.

I'm surprising my daughter with tickets to the Williams Sister 3 City Tour (Venus and Serena). Gotta drive two hours to get there, so we're leaving school early today. I haven't told her anything, it's going to be a surprise right up until we walk through the doors at the arena!

Aww thanks Mal! I sure hope she loves it. She was watching TV and saw Serena signing autographs and she said, "Oh mommy if I could just meet her once." And a few days later I found on the website of my state's tennis association that she and her sister had chosen Charlotte to be included in their 3 city tour. Of all the cities in this country, Charlotte was one. I felt like it was fate and I just had to take her. So I got us VIP tickets and I'm praying that she'll get an autograph!
 
ooh, what a cool suprise! Sorry about the pants :( I know how you feel, I'm at that point where I've lost a lot of weight so my clothes are too loose, but i'm still losing so I don't want to go spend a bunch of money on new clothes. I'm sure you'll look good no matter what you wear, and even if you don't think you do your daughter will still think you hang the moon :)

Hello! Just popped in to check on you. Sounds like you are doing great from the sexy pants story, that had me cracking up. I can't wait to have some pants too big to wear, lol. But I know what you mean, I have walked around with saggy booty a few times from pants that got too big. Keep up the great work!
 
OMG Y'ALL!! I have been dying to get to work and tell you guys this, my stupid computer is on the fritz at home!

SHE MET THEM, WE MET THEM!!! Venus and Serena Williams talked to my baby, shook her hand, autographed a tennis ball for her, let her come back stage!! It was AMAZING! She was IN SHOCK! She had her mouth wide open and her eyes were HUGE! She could barely speak! I was shaking!!!! I was so excited and happy for her. The whole thing was simply amazing. I could write all day and STILL not be able to convey the excitement and sheer magic of it all.

Annnnd, mommy got a prize too....the man that made all of this happen appears to be rather smitten with me and I dare to say the feeling is mutual. I plan to go slow b/c I've had so much bad luck with men, but although its so early, he really seems like such a genuine and wonderful man. YET...I'm keeping my cool or at least trying too.

OH OH OH OH OH...congrats! I think I already posted that in the chat room. That must have been awesome meeting them! But the real joy was for you meeting ...hmmm..you have to give him a nickname (mr. giggles is already taken as we all know)... :p
 
Hmmm... a nickname, how's Mr. Tender Eyes? Yea, I like that. There's something about his eyes that seems so tender and genuine....*sigh* Ok, enough of that. lol:p
 
Holy Crap - what an entry lady.. that's awesome your daughter had such a memorable day -and not only did you get cool mom points but your wilingness to go above and beyond for your offspring brought yu a much deserved bonus.. :D
