Thanks for the support, i appreciate it. I am starting "Body for Life" on Monday. Gonna give it a hook, the book is not too bad actually. The diet plan is simple and easy to follow. And the workouts seem straight forward as well( 3 times per week are @ 45 minutes ), and Cardio is 20 minutes 3 x week.
I have been resting since Thursday. In-line accident left my leg sore and bloody ( and I needed some rest ). I am actually finding it hard to not do any exercise. Well, hopefully this program will work for me, it will give my routine some needed structure, for sure. Maybe I'll have a new body for xmas. Who knows?
Sept.11., an easy date to remember , started Body For Life today. Got up at 0715, which is early for me. The workout was killer... really really hard. The bowflex workout I had been doing ( one set of 12 ) was crap. I went too heavy on most exercises, and went to failure on nearly every body part except biceps and triceps. I am heading to get some myoplex shakes and bars today. Getting ready to see a major change in my body. Can't wait. 20 minutes of aerobics tomorrow AM, and I am scared. The way the workout makes your body work, I can imagine what the running will be like. I'll post pics tomorrow with a weight from tonight. I'll post pics and weight every week or two.
Here's the scoop.... 6 days no alcohol. Tomorrow is day 6 of Body for Life, ate clean all week, followed exercise routine. I 'll get weighed on Sunday am.
Well this will prob be my last pic for a while. Going through a seperation right now. Spending time with the kids and trying not to lose any more weight.... ironic isn't it.........
Here I am , down to 210.
Thanks for all your support guys and girls, I'll come back when i get settled into a permanent place. Cheers.
well 210 is low enough, I think my original plan was 210-215. So I am there. It's funny, my wife said the only reason I lost weight was to find another woman. Which wasn't the case.
Lol your wife is funny
i lost weight because i always hated my self looking into the mirror
well my husband says silly things like that too,but who cares?as long as u feel healthy and happy.
Hey ... what's up around here/ happy holidays to all. I am all settled in at my new spot. My new g/f bought me a new bowflex for xmas and I am getting back into that and running when Jan.1 hits. I am up to 220 lbs, gain of 10 since i stopped working out/running but my body looks like I have put on about 30. I feel weak and out of shape. Anyway I have a few more days of being lazy and then it all ends. Not sure if I'll post a hefore pic or not.
