Nothing To Loose - That is the goal

Thank you everyone for your support! I'm so glad its Thursday. Work has been pretty crazy this week, so days are flying by, but I can't wait for a weekend. My weekend will be active, many horse activities both Saturday and Sunday. The weather will be beautiful too - they are calling for 70s! I have to say, I cannot wait for spring!

Does anyone have an advice on what to add to instant oatmeal to give me more protein? Most of my meals have good amount of it, snacks are cottage cheese, but breakfast is lacking behind. I eat breakfast at work, so I cannot do eggs or any meat. I think I'm looking for a protein powder that I could add to oatmeal, and that would not ruin the taste completely. Is there such a thing? I was thinking of getting Paula's powder, but I heard it has chocolate taste, and I don't think that would work for oatmeal very well.
Any suggestions?
 
Kate, thanks for suggestion. Protein bar is not bulky enough for me, I'll be hungry like in an hour after that. The reason I like oatmeal so much is because it is bulky and fills me up. Unfortunately, because it is mostly carbs, the "full" feeling does not stay for too long, that's why I'm looking for protein powder to add to it.


Ok, yeterday was a repeat of Wednesday: I came home, ate light dinner, and crashed to sleep for 2 hrs. I don't know what's going on with my body and why I'm so extra tired. It is TOM week, and I did stay up too late Sunday, Monday and Tuesday...

I'm taking my own advice and using heating pad on my lower back, as I am having soreness all this week. I wonder if I'm paying for riding 2 days in a row.

Calorie-wise I was right at 1200, so not too bad. I will go for a walk during lunch today, just in case I'll need to crash tonight again.

This week has been tough(mentally) at work, I'm really looking forward to the weekend! I want to rest, but at the same time would love to do all the horsey activites I planned - they definitely help me loose weight.

I hit a new low - 136.5 today. Its probably water loss, so I'm not changing my ticker yet, but I'll take what I can get. :)
 
I sure hope that i can change my ticker soon...i do hope that it says 136 for ya next weigh in. thatd be really great! cant wait to see that number myself~ when oh when oh WHEN???
 

Yay! That's awesome - I think you should get out there this weekend.. you'll feel much better if you do! And you can still rest, take some time out Sunday Night or something! Whatever you do! - just enjoy it, eat healthy! Happy Friday!

Yes, its rest, sleep and horsey stuff! I usually do feel better after all the exercise and being outside on fresh air, but sometimes it backfires the next day.

Would be really nice if I got down to 136 by the end of next week, but somehow I don't think that's going to happen. That's ok though, I know I'll get there sooner or later. :) That's the important part. :)

Ok, yesterday went ok. I was kind of pooped and did not feel like getting on a computer.
Did some exercise in form of going to the barn and playing with horses, which was fun, but then could not really do much else. I'm planning on resting up today and then going riding.

Calorie-wise was not the greatest - 1500, but increased exercise kind of helped to maintain some calorie deficit. Today I'm hoping for a better ratio, although I don't have day planned out yet, and its hard to know how much food will be in terms of cals if I don't even know what I'll eat and when.
Weekends are a little harder to plan, especially when I actually go out and do things. I cannot plan when the hunger will strike, and I may have to eat something unplanned or fattening, because there is no other choice. I need to do some better planning for days like that.

The good part (I think its good) - I lost like 2 lbs in last couple of days, so drum-roll please.... I am at 135 today! Whoo-hooo! Which means, technically, I've reached my goal of 135 by March 15th... actualy, 12th!
The bad part - I KNOW it is all water loss(or at least most of it), so I don't expect this low to stick around. But, I can probably reach it for real by the end of March. Anyway, we'll see what happens. :)
 
Hey well done for reaching your goal, you should be really proud and I am sure it will stick around, espicaly by the end of march. It must feel good to see that number. I hope you had a good weekend, enjoyed your time with the horses and got plenty of rest. Keep up the great work.

Yes, it was nice to see that number, although to be honest I'm not selebrating yet, as it is not my "real" weight. Monday and Tuesday I'll find out where I really am weight wise and how much more I have to go before I reach this "teaser". :) So, I'm waiting on changing the ticker. :)

Horses were great and fun, but I was already missing riding when driving back from the barn. If only I was strong enough to ride as much as I wanted to! I'd be in the barn every day. :)

Calorie is at almost 800 with breakfast, lunch and snack, so have to go easy on dinner.
