Well, first of all the day before I drank way more water then I usually do and was going to the bathroom very often, and second, based on my calculations of calorie deficit I should only loose a half a lb or 1 lb max, but not two. Today I'm still at 135.5, so we'll see what tomorrow brings. :)

If I did loose those lbs, the things that helped were probably doing physical activity 2 days on weekend, and lots of sleep. Remember I was crashing like half of the week? They do say that sleep helps with weight loss, and maybe it helped indeed, because I felt like it was for the first time in very long that I actually got enough sleep. My body wants 9 hrs per night, and I get only 8 at best.

sleep definitely helps. no stress & sleep and OF COURSE EXERCISE! :)

awesome job. I hope you keep it off and if it creeps a little, at least you saw your goal and you are two weeks earlier than expected! You'll get there!!!!!!!

I have a weird headache today. It started very suddenly right after lunch. On the plus side, I did a 15 min walk around the building. Weather is fantastic today - 70s!
 
My weight is slowly creeping back up. Back to 136 today. Would be nice if it stayed there, but we'll see what tomorrow brings.

Dinner was really yummy yesterday - grilled stake and sweet potatos as a side. BTW, is sweet potato considered vegetable or starch? I love sweet potatos, could eat them every day, but they are pretty high in calories - 250 for a 7 oz. (That's a medium potato).
Calories were 1300, due to slightly heavy dinner.
 

I'm so not a sweet potato person! I really don't know what we'd classify them as, vegetable? Anyways .. hope the day treats you well m'dear - smile lots! :D

morning ntl - i think a sweet potato is a starch BUT a better choice starch than a white one or rice or pasta....i really enjoy them myself. if you read 'diet workshop' - their plan is to have a 'high veggie' with dinner and one of those options is a sweet potato (other is corn, so more caloric choice but filling and good for you). yummy. Dont worry about that weight creeping up. You know you are doign the right things. Stick with it!!
 
Hi there sorry to say that sweet potatoe is definitly a starch. Never been a fan my self but is definitly high in carbs pumpkin too apparently though I never Knew that before, I had a trainer last year and she told me that.

I did not realize that sweet potato was such a divider. :) Amazing how many people don't like it, I did not expect that. I'm not a big fan of pumpkin pies though. :)

Thanks, all - I know I'll loose the weight I gained back again eventually, it is just a matter of time. I have to say I have gotten much more relaxed about weight loss - things just don't bother me as much as they used to. Even a month or 2 ago, I would be kind of annoyed at the scales creeping back up, but now it does not phase me at all. I think its because I know that I will lose this weight, and all these fluctuations are just temporary. I am also beginning to be able to look at the weight loss process in terms of months and years, not in terms of weeks and days.

Ok, I could not stand it and updated my ticker to my today's weight. :D Let's see what will happen tomorrow. :D

I went for a walk during lunch again (20 min, whoo-hoo!), it was good, but really-really windy.

Ok, now that i'm at 9 lb mark... Real close to 10... I am not seeing as much change as I was hoping for. I feel about the same as I felt when I was 145, I still wear the same clothes (although they ARE looser), and I basically still look virtually the same. I am not upset about it or anything, but that makes me think that the next 11 lbs will not show that much changes either, so my goal weight should be lower... Those of you who already shed their first 10 lbs - did you see much difference in your body, or was it only a little bit?
 
Personally, I didn't see much change. My clothes were looser after the first ten, but it wasn't until about 15 that i had to give away my 'fatter' clothes to goodwill for being too baggy and looking terrible. Also, It is really hard to see change in yourself. I think. I had to share some pics with Dana and Paula & line them up to really see what i looked like at 158, 148 and now...

Maybe go through some old pictures and see from there...OR, have one of us look and see...

Ok, I gained additional 1/2 lb, so now I'm at 136.5, but my fat % is back down to what it was before I lost all that water, it went up when I had the water loss. Well, at least I know where I am. :) Need to change that ticker again. :)

Calories I was good yesterday - 1100. Exercise is alos increasing. I did 10 min crunches and squats last night, and 10 min of crunches and leg training this morning. The weather is too cold today to go for a walk outside, so it leaves me with stair climbing at work.

Someone brought bunch on dunkin donuts to work, and they looked so fresh and inviting (better then my oatmeal, I must say), and I succumbed to their charm. So I had one donut instead of oatmeal, and honestly, now I don't like how it makes me feel. It has an after-taste and my stomack feels heavy. Guess no more donuts for me. :) I could not even finish it!
 
Weather's way too cold here too! It sucks - I love summer.. I can't wait for it to come back! Yay, you're turned off donuts! That's happened to me - it's so great when things like that happen because then it's not hard to say no to the foods again... haha. Way to get that exercise up - I think you're doing great... I hope you have an awesome day today!
