Nightporter... To the point of no return.

Hey NP,

I'm just trying to read other peoples journals and I have to say you are a very funny person! I love your great descriptions of the eliptical. I have yet to attempt the "self torture* devices lol.

Congrats on the 9lb loss! *applauds*

Man N, I knew you were a girl! It sucks you aren't on my team for the challenge. *pouts* How is your team doing anyways? I knew Cocoa Butter worked well for Stretch marks.

Miss Kallie- Thanks! Hehe, yeah, those ellipticals man... I swear they were created to make falbby, out of shape people feel worse about themselves. I saw this old lady who was all hunched over and could barely walk across the room get on one of those things and go like... Super fast! I looked at her and was thinking "Man, get out."

Pineola- The weights I'm using are like weight machines. The one I use best is like a backwards seat, and you sit on it, and lean forward on it, and grab these 2 bars and pull them to you over and over. I don't know if that counts as lifting, I can hardly translate all that weight lifting lingo.

VonArtiste- Your team sounds cool though! I love you guys's slogan... LMAO! What is the Termin-Eaters slogan gonna be??? "Hasta La vista... Pizza..." Lmao...

Ok... About me day... I woke up this morning a tad too late (1:30) So... No elliptical. Though, I did do what I said I was gonna do- I treadmilled for an hour and lifted my weights even heavier. The bad thing is- I only had an Atkins shake for breakfast- So after I got home my feet hurt like it was going out of style and my muscles ached very badly. Before I started working out, I was able to bend over and touch my toes, and spread my hands on the floor. Now I can't even reach my ankles! Anyway, I rode with my dad while he ran some errands and I started to feel- Queasy. Not only that but I was getting into a cold sweat, got dizzy, and my heart starting beating really fast. My dad noticed something was wrong so I told him I only had a shake for breakfast and had worked out extra hard today. He said I probably had low bloodsugar from not eating and I overworked myself. So, he took my through Hardee's and got me a double low-carb burger and I felt so much better after that. Yes, I can see the giant red "Wimp" stamp on thy forehead now...

Anyhow, here is what I had today:

Breakfast (Which was at 2 PM)
-Atkins Shake

Dinner
-Double low-carb thickburger

Snack
-Fancy stinky French cheese on pastrami

Workout:
-1 hour on treadmil between the speeds of 2.8 and 3.5 MPH
-20 minuts on weight machines
-15 minuts on push-ups, leg lifts and all that stay at home and move around stuff

Well, I best get off now- I've got a bass to practice.

-K-

I've got a bass to practice

A girl bass player? It just keeps getting better and better. First you're a girl, then you're a guy, then you're a girl again and you rock too!!!!

I play guitar and piano. And those are the best activities when you feel like munching. Because you can't very well play and eat at the same time!!!

I hear ya, Scarlett!

Plus all that sitting up straight must be good for your back. I have to sit up straight while practicing bass too, and when I stand I can't hunch. Plus sometimes you get so wrapped up you're like "Just a minut Mom, I'll come to dinner in like, 30 minutes, I promise!"

And I guess it is cool to be a girl, then a guy then a girl again... Dude, that rocks! But speaking of mulitple personalities, I saw my doppleganger today...

No, I don't mean I saw someone who looked like me... I saw ME. I was at one of the weight machines (And I hadn't started yet- so I'm 99.9 percent sure I wasn't hallucinating from being tired out and all that jazz) But anyway, I was looking around the room, when around the back of another machine I saw someone wearing the same shoes I owned. I wasn't wearing them at the time, but they were the same big blue shoes with the holes in them. I looked up, and for a split second I couldn't believe what I was seeing! I was seeing myself standing behind one of the machines. It was only for a second But I was wearing a very familiar outfit I had worn before. The only thing was... I looked lifelike, but my eyes were bugged out and staring at nothing. Like I was dead... It was so weird. I didn't move, but when I did a double take, I, it- whatever it was... Was gone... Spooky...

Ok, now that I have totaly ruined my creditability on this site as not-a-crazy-freak, I gotta get goin' I'll update everyone on the normal weight loss stuff tonight!

hey night i just got around to seeing your 9 pound loss. well no one said i was quick lol. congrats all the same. One of the guys in my school is an awsome bass player. thought about picking it up myself just not sure yet. so many guitars so little time. Its hard to just pick one. About the seeing yourself hmmmm ill say sometimes we see things and its just hard to figure out...........lee

Hello!

I guess I scurrd everyone away with my doppleganger story... LOL!

Anywhoooo... Guess I'll post my stats for the day:

Breakfast-
2 egg omlet with bacon and pepper jack cheese
Atkins Shake

Lunch-
-Hardee's double low carb thickburger

Dinner-
Ommited because lunch was so late

Snack-
Salami with cheese.. SLURP!

Excersize:
30 min. on Treadmill
20 minutes on weights
15 minutes on bike

My feet have been in excruciating pain for the past few days from treadmilling.... So I bought some Dr. Scholls gelly feet things... I am really crossing my fingers they work, because the only think I can concentrate on while on the deathmill is "Oh, the agony!!" *Wimp Stamp*

I am also going to get my wedge-cut trimmed, and dye the top blonde again and re-dye the back red... Just a useless bit of info there...

Perhaps tomorrow the whole school football team won't be in there again to rain on my parade so I can attempt that elliptical. That thing mocks me... It's mocking me with its foamy handles, and giant circle thingys, and big foot holders... -GAH!

Gotta go... Bass calls...

You need a talisman to protect you from the elliptical machine.. so that when you use it - you can master it and show it who's boss. Youc an do it... though our entertainment will deceease but we can live wihthat :)

Yeah N, your droppelganger story is uh... a little weird. *coughs* Lol. Those Gel pads should help your feet. My mom always tells me to get them for work, but I don't... Your hair sounds neato!

After I read your doppelganger story I thought to myself "I wonder if she had enough protein that day"...but then I remembered your pratically eating all protein!!!! LOL!!!!

I'm going to chalk your doppleganger story up to weird hormonal fluctuations - because in my experience, hormones can explain just about all manner of weirdness in a woman's life! :D

Regarding the elliptical - what is it with those feet??? That is so funny. Those things freak me out, too. Good luck with your workout. Take some headphones and just get in the zone. Push through that tired out point for just one more song, and you'll probably surprise yourself with how far you can go. I thought I was done for at 15 minutes yesterday, but I decided to go a little farther, and before I knew it I was at the 30 minute mark! It felt so great - like bursting through the finish line of a really long race with hands in the air and applause from the stands - if I had ever done anything like that. :)

Hello Hello

Sorry for the delay in posts... I wasn't quite able to get around to it this weekend.

I weighed myself today and I have lost only one pound... Man... *Kicks nearest thing*

At least I have remained very high in Ketosis- Which means I'm making progress... I hope...

I didn't have time to go to the Y this weekend- Saturday was cleaning day and on Sunday I had promised to scan some Japan pictures for my website... Well, I never knew that it took a whole day to scan pictures from 2 books!! But I'll be going back today.

Oh yes, I figured out a recipe to make really really tasty low carb, no sugar milkshakes...

Ice- A couple handfulls in a blender
Whipping Cream - fill blender about halfway as much as the ice
Sugar Free Chocolate Syrup (Optional) - Just a squirt
Vanilla Extract - Just a dash
Splenda - 3 packets per serving

Blend all things on each level until you reach 'Liquify' then repeat the process. Get a spatula, scrape it in a glass or two and enjoy!!

Sorry, I'm not very good at giving recipies!!
