Newbie, looking for a New Me

DYKJ - Hi Thanks for stopping by.

I've been on vacation and took my DS back to college. What a whrilwind couple of days.

First packing both my DH and my DS. Straightening up the place for my DSIL/BIL to come watch my DD while we were away. Then driving 2+ hours north to move DS back to school and that same distance back. Then the next day driving 9.5 hours south to the OBX. We had great weather and really enjoyed out time. I'm sure the scale will prove that on Tuesday. However driving back on Sat through Hanna was not fun. It took us 11 hours to get home. It was really nasty weather. That was yesterday's fun.

Today was groceries to restock for my week. I'm ready to rock.

Wow sounds like a hectic vacation. Glad you're back and you made it through that weather safely. Thanks for coming by my journal, I posted to you there too, lol. But I still wanted to come by and say hi. So what great recipes you got planned for this week? Any good quick and easy ones I can steal? ~Lisa

DYKJ - Today I did a top round roast in the crock pot with tomato sauce, onion, garlic, jalapeno etc, mashed potatoes and peas. Easy with the meat done when I got home.

Had a much better eating day. Not perfect, but stellar compared to vacation.

Went to yoga tonight.

Tomorrow it's back to the gym and back to that routine. I can't wait, but I'm not looking forward to the soreness.

Lisa,

First week back at the gym has me sore, but it's a good sore.

Doing fairly well this. Headed out of town for the Weekend, then I think I will be able to go full bore at this again.

Hi all,

I'm finally back. It's been rough around here. we did get our patio done and DS is back at college. I've been busy escorting DD around with marching band, not to mention daily life.

This past couple of weeks have been hard. DH has ALS and things were progressing the wrong way. We need to make some changes to our house. For a while here I thought I may have to move. NOT GOOD. I have eaten my way through the past several weeks, my weight is up.

We have some construction to do around here, so I'll be spotty in my posting, but I'm back.

Yikes it's been like 2 months since I posted? Where did that time go? well mostly to figuring out what we are going to do to the house. Now that it's figured out, we have to get it done.

I've gained horribly in the past two months, see my new updated ticker.

However, enough is enough. I'm back and I plan on making progress the right way.

DS is home for a break until after Thanksgiving, but it's been rough. on his way home Sat night he hit some black ice, spun and rolled his Explorer. Thankfully he was wearing his seat belt and was not injured other than a few scratches on his hand and ear. The car was totaled though

It's late tonight, but I'll be back tomorrow with my meal plan for the day.

Hope everyone is well.

I'm slowly, but surely getting it back together. I'm not journaling at this point, but I have cut back. Don't expect a major loss, since I'm not sure where I am this week, but I do hope to see something. The scale has been kind of fickle this week.

It's always tough to get back, but I'm taking babysteps. Trying to find a place where I am losing, but not depriving so I don't jump off the deep end again.

Have more planning to do, but I'm getting there.

Got our stair way painted today, so that is one project to cross off the list. many more to go though.

Yesterday was a rough day. My neck was spazing. I was in so much pain.

The good news is, today I am so much better and my eating was more on track. I also started to journal again on FitDay.

I'm hoping this new mojo will carry me through the holidays. I have got to get this weight back down.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Went to the Chiro after work and had him fix my neck back up. I know it spazed from driving in the snow. I hate to even type that word. Even more now since DS's accident.

I feel strong though. Two really great days food wise. Tomorrow is an official WI day and I can't wait to see if I made any progress at all this last week.

It's been great though, getting my mojo back right before the holidays. Hopefully that will carry me through.

see you all later

good news, I lost .8 of a pound. not much, but at least the right direction.

It's snowing terribly here so I just did my WO at home today.

I decided to look at my WL like a football game. Since I measure in 10th's it works like a 1st down. Every pound is a first down. This week I'm working on 2nd and 2. If I can lose 1 pound a week for 3 consecutive weeks or even add a 2lb week in there, I'll earn 3 points for a FG. If I can lose 7 pounds in 7 weeks, I'll earn a TD.

This will be fun and make it more interesting.

Thanksgiving didn't go to bad. I checked the scale today and only slightly up. I Think I can take care of that. DS is back safely at school and our house guest is gone.

DH got the flu yesterday and spent the day in bed. I'm sleeping on the couch to try and avoid getting the same.

Tomorrow I have to work and then disinfect our bedroom and bathroom. Fun, fun.

Hope to get in a bit of exercise here in a few minutes.

See you all tomorrow.

Official WI today at WW. I think I will have made my 1st down goal. Yep, I might be down a bit even after the holiday.

DH is now better and I slept on the couch again last night as I was feeling a little green. Seem to be ok this morning.

I've already planned my food for the day. After my meeting I will go to the gym, then grocery shop. Home for lunch and I have to get moving on my Christmas sewing.

It's very cold out. YUCK, but at least for the moment, no SNOW YEAH

I'm thrilled, I'm finally headed in the right direction again. I'm down 1 pound this week. since it was Thanksgiving, I am thrilled! GO ME

Good Grief, it's been several days since I've posted. i'm back on track and moving forward.

Trying to balance what I eat, I was going too low fat an I was hungry all the time. I've uped the fat and protien a bit and feel much better and I'm losing too. YEAH.
