New here. Iv'e started my weight loss journey.

I wasn't planning on creating a post but I thought I should. . I have been overweight/obese most of my life. One summer when I was 16 I went from 200 to 138 by starving myself and working out twice a day.I lost 60 lbs in a few months. After I learned to eat again I started overeating. I would binge. A couple years passed.. After I got married and pregant I gained a load of weight. My heaviest was 240. I am now at 222 and I have a long way to go to get down to 132 which is my goal. Its hard doing it healthy but I know I will be able to keep it off longer and I will feel amazing because I did it on my own and no weight loss pills,laxitives,or purging will be involved. Here I am at my starting weight. Its very hard for me to look at myself in the mirror but Im starting to feel better physically. I workout almost everyday.weight training/cardio/ yoga Im hoping to see results soon. Im so happy I found this thread....

Im back! lol .....It's almost been 2 years since I've signed up on this forum...and and maybe 8 months since I signed in? I still haven't reached my goal weight,but I'm still working at it. Maybe forever it will be a rollercoaster, I'm not sure. Anyway so here are my photos. I have 40lbs to go until I reach my 100lbs lb goal. It might take me years to reach it,but I can say that I did it on my own.

Hey welcome to the forum :) I just put up my starter thread for this section too and can't wait to put up some during and afters! Did you see the section where you can start a journal/diary too? I never kept up with writing on paper but I really enjoy it on here and talking to everyone. Good luck :D

I'm just starting out too--I hope you're very successful and reach your goals. It's really hard to take that first step so you've already made major progress!

Today I did my 30 min weighs and abs...and then 3 1/2 miles on the eliptical. I did my 1st mile in less than 12 mins. Now it doesnt seem like much but for a 220 lb person it made me feel good. I really am enjoying working out..except that my body holds me back..

Like when I do burpies.. I can do them yet my hanging stomach pouch gets in my way and I have to leap frog back in place instead of keeping my feet together : ( that sounds yucky.. also my heart rate gets in around 175 and I start to get scared so I always slow down.. I hate that my body is holding me back from really doing the exercise I wish I could do....

well tomorrow is my weekly weigh in... wish me luck

You're a very good looking lassie! Wow that dress is gorgeous! My stomach used to get in the way too - especially when I jogged. Love that gut bouncing up and down...yuck. It's amazing how quickly things start to change though, and it sounds like you've got a really good routine. You seem really motivated and your body won't hold you back for long.

I lost 4.6 lbs this week! for a total of ..................16.4 lbs WOO HOO

So im down 16.4 lbs in 7 weeks and im ok with that : ) Thanks everyone for the support.. I am now 216 lbs.... I can do this! I will see the 130s again someday....

I have lost 23 lbs since June 6th.

I can def. tell! I can tell the most in your butt,below the bellybutton, and in your legs. Your legs are looking more tone. Very nice, girlie! Great job! :cheers2:

Well, thought I would say hi cuz we have almost the exact same starting weight and final weight goals, and I just started my own diary.

I started on Monday weighing 221 lbs. On Wednesday I was at 119.5 lbs. From here on out, I will only weigh myself once a week. Gonna try to stay off the scale that I obsess so much over. Anyway, my goal weight is 135 lbs which I want to reach by the end of March next year.

Congrats on your success of 16.4 lbs lost. That is so encouraging. I hope to hear more from you. Looking forward to keeping eachother motivated.

I started out at 232. Which is a 23 lbs weightloss. That should even be more
encouraging ; ) Good Luck! We can do this! Everyones stories are so motivating. Im hoping to be 132 by Aug of next year. Im giving myself some time but If I lose 20 lbs every 2 months I will reach my goal sooner than expected : ) Keep up on your diary. When Im bored I sit and read entrys and I always like new ones. I'll take more photos in 3 weeks. My b-day in on monday though which means I have to eat more than I'd like. I have b-day dinner with the parents on sunday,dinner with my hubby on monday,and my neighbors want to take me out to eat on tues. I dont know why eating is the only thing people do to celebrate. I guess I have to since its the big 21! I have to watch my alcohol intake. Im not planning on drinking much because of the calories haha..I feel so old for being so young....

alright decided to put on my fat jeans today. My fat jeans are my size 20 petite jeans. I Should of been in a size 22 when I wore these. I used to wear them up high so that It would hold my fat in LOL I would have to lay on the bed and suck in to get them on. I know you ladies know what I am talking about... Well I don't know if you can tell from the photos but I can now pull them down without un buttoning them and not only do I not have to suck in I have room to spare everywhere. My butt room is prob the most surprising. I wish these shots showed the roomy ness better..

I have lost over 72lbs (started at 217) and 60inches since March of 07. I know exactly what you're meaning with how loose your fat pants are. I've been there and keep getting there with every new size I get down to.

I dont get on this site very often, it keeps slipping my mind:blush5: but when I do come to the photos. Today I saw yours and am super excited for you! Your son is sooo cute.

Id love to chat with you if you ever have time. PM me if youre interested, I dont know if we can post email addresses or not. I have bikini befores [yes bikini at 217!] and currents [145] Theyre not like today current, [more like 3 weeks ago current] because Im in a personal challenge of no pics for 4 weeks. Also, my scale is put away because I have been talking to it too much this week. lol

That is some awesome progress! I know exactly what you are talking about with wearing the jeans high so that the rolls don't hang out! I have some jeans that I used to do that with (same size as yours) and now they are so baggy! I'm going clothes shopping tomorrow night....I really hope that I can find a pair that are flattering. Everything that I have is way too baggy in the legs and butt. Well, keep it up little lady! You are doing some amazing work!
