I've missed so much. I'm gonna go back and comment as i go along. :)

Aww sweetie, you really are stuggling :( but good for you for taking some time out rather than just saing 'fuck it' and blowing everything. i have been eating pretty badly this week and reading your post made me see that we can't be awesome all the time and not to worry too much about it. Like you said, it's not a race, it's a long term healthier lifestyle.

:hurray: :hurray: Yay!! A cool new laptop!! Your hubby is wonderful. :) You seem a lot better in yourself too, looking forward to your holiday. I always find that i feel proper rubbish coming up to a holiday, it's like my body just can't seem to wait any longer for it lol. And doesn't it always take forever to arrive lol

My husband txted me this morning freaking out because Xena couldn't stand without falling over and her back legs kept locking up, so he took her back to the vet and they took X rays and said they wanted to keep her for observation over the weekend, thinking it could be something spinal... well the vet just called as I knocked off work, and she has a concussion and can't walk because she's dizzy! I'm SO glad it's nothing too serious, they're still keeping her over the weekend though. Poor little thing!!


I'm soooo tired today though, kept waking up last night to check Xena to make sure she was still breathing and moving. Then my husband woke me up going to bed, then I woke up before my alarm... Arrrgh. I HATE my early work hours!! Only worked till 12:30 today though so I'm home chilling out now.

My laptop ROCKS. Still can't believe he got me a laptop, kinda shat all over what I got him for HIS birthday!! Yea, I really REALLY can't wait for my holiday, I'm so over my job. Xena will be ok too, so glad it's nothing serious!!! I was so worried this morning!!

Heya Munch!! I'm in the far north west of Australia, out in the middle of the desert (but strangely next to the beach lol) It's really horrible. Only here for my husbands job, I can't wait to leave! There's only 2 seasons- dry season and wet season... Wet season is insanely hot, insane amounts of rain, and 4-5 cyclones a year. Awesome. They think the cyclone coming is going to be pretty insane, not supposed to hit till the 30th now.

Todays intake:

Breakfast: 2 pieces of toast with white choc peanut butter

Snack: 2 homemade bran and spice muffins

Lunch: Coconut creme Larabar

Snack: Homemade bran and spice muffin

Dinner (at a buffet): Approx 1 cup steamed broccoli, 2 small pieces roast pumpkin, around 150-200g stewed kangaroo (I'm going on if it weighed as much as a chicken breast, it was around that size)


Exercise:

None, I was barely functioning today!


Total deficit for the day: 928 (estimate, bit hard to tell with dinner)


So a good day today, yay!! Hoping to get 4 more days with close to a 1000cal deficit to get rid of yesterdays bad day and make up the calories!!
 
Oh yea, thought I'd share a really scary photo of this cyclone headed our way... I got this off a website, weatherzone.com.au. This cyclone supposed to hit next week is being labelled the 'end of the world' cyclone as they are predicting it to travel down most of WA... It's beyond a category 5, the size of New South Wales, and it's incredibly slow moving... they reckon it'll start way up north and could potentially travel all the way down to Perth. Also it's so slow moving, they reckon it'll spend around 2 days on top of us!! Um, eek!??





It's the big black thing in case you couldn't figure it out. Also, off to the left is ANOTHER cyclone heading our direction straight after it. Awesome.

Really random food today, really just a lot of snacks. Mostly because of laziness and tiredness, didn't really want to have to do anything on my day off!! Went out with the intention of doing a 40min walk, but after seeing 3 lizards the size of my forearm, I was OVER it (the lizards here are territorial and will attack if you get too close!) so after one round of the block (haha, got faster after every lizard!) I quickly went home.


Here are a couple of cute pics of Luna!! She's being extra lovey and attention seeking yesterday and today, and she's meowing a fair bit... I think she's trying to figure out what we did with her sister!! (BTW- vet rang, said Xena is doing well and fine to come home tomorrow)


Scuse the dodginess of the pics- I took these myself with my phone and it was FREAKING hard doing it without disturbing her!! Hehe doesn't she look like a possum?? She sat there for ages before falling asleep!! (Think she appreciates my boobies as much as my husband does!)

That is such good news about Xena :hurray: :hurray: So so pleased that she is ok :) And your pictures of Luna are just totally adorable. I just love her ears, so so cute :) I would love a little kitten but Mark is so against it :( I actually dreamt about having this cute little kitten last night (as well as black elephants and walking in huge cream cakes!!!, not sure what was going on in that dream!) Luna is the one that was really shy isn't she? That's lovely that she is so snuggly now. My Black cat, Piglet is snuggled in, tucked under my arm as i type, she is such a mummies girl :)

Hope you managed to have a lovely relaxing day and get some decent sleep before work next week :)
 
Yea Luna was terrified of everyone!!! Now she bounces up to everyone with her tail in the air when we get home, like a litte puppy!! Lol!! And she is a BIG snuggle bum, just like her sister Xena. :beating:

I'm sorry to see that you were having a few off days after recovering from the holidays, I did the same thing, start getting that sugar in my system and then I just keep on craving it! Looks like you are back to doing awesome again though, so well done!!

Sparked, yay I'm so glad you're back!!!!!!!!!!! Missed you round here!!!!!!! :biggrin: Yea I'm pretty sure I've found my mojo again, suddenly feeling in the swing of things like before. At least it was only a few pounds I have to lose again... so dying to weigh myself already but staying strong (eek, for now! lol)


Food choices weren't the best today, but I am TIRED. So NER. Might still go for a walk if I feel like braving the lizards this time of day, I'm already doubting it though. Got baking and stuff to do this arvo for work lunches, so after cleaning I think I'll just want to veg out somewhere. Xena is home and running around like a kitty should (read: crazy) so I'm pretty occupied anyway!!

Breakfast: 2 sausages (bad idea... was so light headed until I had some carbs in me at morning tea!)

Lunch: Sandwich with cheese and spinach

Dinner: 125g dinosaur cookies (Haha, can you tell I just got home from work wanting food?? These are realling light though, no added sugar or sweetener and heaps of fiber in them... so not TOO bad) and a bag of popchips

Total deficit for the day: 657


Going to aim for 3 days of 1000cal deficits from tomorrow to finish undoing the damage from the other day. Should be pretty easy really, I work tomorrow then have 2 days off so I'll be rested and have no reason to not be awesome!!

Yay, I'm on 2 days off now!!!!!!!!! SOOOOOOOOOOOOO want to weigh myself, I'm going mental! I keep talking myself into it, then decide not to lol. Will see how I'm feeling about it in the next few days, maybe I will. Ahhhh. Lol!! SERIOUSLY need to get these 1000cal deficit days in though, need like 3!!
 
Ended up getting off my bum and going for a walk... felt like this all afternoon...

So yea, went out for a 20min walk. Unfortunately that's still about the extent of my ability in exercise right now... So... I've decided that I want to walk for at least 20mins every day- up until the end of my holidays!!! (Um, not during storms/cyclones, obviously lol) I have a walk I do up here that takes exactly 20mins, when I go home I know a walk that I used to do that takes the same amount of time... and when we go on our 5 day relaxing/romantic holiday I fully intend on dragging my husband to the incredibly picturesque beach around the corner every morning for some exercise!! I have an awesome workout to do when I get back, I just don't see the point in starting a routine, doing it for 2 weeks... and then going on hols and NOT doing it. Haha! At least I know I can stick to walking, ya know??


Also... next 6 days, this is what I really want to do: 2 days of 1000 cal deficits, 1 day 551 deficit (minimum), then repeat. That way I get 4 big deficit days... After that, I'm thinking of doing the rest of the time up till holidays with around 800-900 cal deficits. Would LOVE it if I could magically make it up to 14000 cals altogether... Then I should be back around 63.5kg again!!


Oh, and here's the other lil cutie...
 
OMG! I love your kitties, they are soooo adorable. Glad to hear Xena is alright and back to being a crazy kitty.


I know exactly what you mean about them loving boobs. Evie will always get up on my chest and start kneading (like dough) on my boobs or stomach or wherever is convenient for her, lol. She tends to do it when I'm laying on the couch with my laptop which = not being able to see the screen or do anything.


I know you can get those couple of perfect days that you need, you can do it! :)

I've forgotton which one is which i think Luna is the one with flat ears, anyway i love the constant look of surprise on her face, so cute. And Xena looks so cheeky, she is definatly the crazier of the two huh!!!

I just called Mark to look at your photo's and he said 'are they Lucy's kitten' 'yes' i reply 'is Lucy in the picture' 'no' i reply......'Well, i don't wanna see them then' lmao!! :smilielol5:

Yea my kitties are freakin adorable, I'll say it :p Luna is the one with the folded ears, she's a little terror!!!! She rips the place apart and terrorizes all the other cats, then comes back for cuddles. Xena is very sweet and makes a lot of noise if she can't see one of us, but she doesn't play much and pretty much all she wants is to sleep on your lap. Both little sweethearts!!! Lol Kate at what your husband said!!!


OK so confession time... I woke up this morning thinking DAMMIT, I'm going to freakin weigh myself before I go mental. And my fucking scales are broken!!! BROKEN!!! I changed the batteries several times, hit the on/off button for about 5 minutes straight... Nothing!!! I can't weigh myself if I want to!!! (DAMN you $20 Target scales... Actually they're almost 5 years old, bought them just after I moved out of home when I was 19. So it's pretty impressive they've lived this long) SO. Going on Ebay to order some scales right now, hopefully they'll be here before I go on holidays!! Can't even tell you how frustrated I am right now, ARRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHGHGGH!!!
 
So ordered some scales off Ebay, they're Weight Watchers ones (not cuz I thought they were better or anything, they were just a decent price with free postage!) Reckons they'll get here between the 30th Jan and 6th Feb, probably the later date as everything takes forever to get here!! So... can't weigh myself till pretty much before I leave anyway!!
 
Having a pretty lazy one today, spent most of my day lounging around reading Game of Thrones... Baked a few muffins and poached some chicken thighs for the kitties too, really haven't done much else!! I did go for a walk this morning as soon as I woke up, it was actually nice outside for once (it was 26 degrees at 6am, probably the coollest it's been in the morning for ages!) I volunteered to do a bit of baking tomorrow for the SAFE organisation up here (it's for rehoming abandoned/ found dogs and cats) so tomorrow I'm baking cookies, brownies and cupcakes!! Tomorrow is Australia Day and they're having a fair at the town centre tomorrow evening and some fireworks, so they're having a stall and fundraising. Fireworks might be cancelled though, this cyclone is supposed to be forming today. Don't think it's going to hit us directly anymore but there's thunderstorms and crazy weather forecast for the next week. We'll see!!!


Todays food definitely hasn't been the healthiest, I tend to just grab whatever and add it up when I have a day off (even if I plan my food the night before!!)
