5 perfect days down... and tomorrow is weigh in, boo! Not really expecting a great one, started off with 3 bad days (while we were away, lol) and spent the rest of the week on my ass trying to let my legs get better. We shall see... I'm hoping I'll at least be 67.5kg or less!!!
Work was ok today, I didn't have to do much walking around but when I did I could only be up for 20mins or so, so I spread out putting stuff up over the whole day and kept sitting to do other things. Did a lot of my work for tomorrow so hopefully tomorrow will be a shorter day too. Legs were ok, no cramps or pain at all in my calves by the end of the day because I'd been up and about, but my knees were fairly stiff and swollen again. They went down pretty much straight away anyway, look fairly normal now. Jumped (lies, HOBBLED) into the pool after work with Wade briefly- it was 40 degrees here today so was nice to cool off!! The cold water felt weird on my legs though and they stiffened up really fast, so got out and chilled out.
Cancelled my docs appt since I'm a lot better today than I have been, went and spoke to the pharmacist about my calves cramping and she gave me a rub for it and told me to eat more salt. I told her what I've been eating and drinking and she reckons not much of what I eat has salt in it, and I've been diluting any that I have been getting with all the water I drink through the day lol. So more salt planned for the week!
Oh and I was being all organised- after an hour of putting my feet up my knees were almost normal again, so I cooked up a pack of quinoa pasta and organised salads for myself for lunches the rest of the week. Aren't I a good lil chipmunk!
Tomorrows food plan
Breakfast: Usual ice-cream, this time with bananas, Amazing grass choc powder, rice milk, and 2 tablespoons of choc peanut butter (mm salty)
Lunch: Salad with quinoa pasta, a tin of salmon in spring water, cherry tomatoes, cup of spinach, and a tablespoon of zesty Portugese dressing (more salt!)
Dinner: 2 pieces of brown rice toast with spinach and grilled cheese
Don't really have any snacks planned as it's going to be a weird day- I'll be starting work at 6am and finishing (hopefully) around 12pm if someone can take me home. So breakfast I made a huge meal, as I'll be eating it at 5am, lunch is a big meal as well and I'll probably be eating at around 10:30ish (if I can last that long) and I reckon I'll probably have dinner late in the arvo. That gives me a 1000cal deficit so I have room for a snack if I need it... I think whether I do or not will depend on my weigh in and what I decide to aim for for the month!
