I blinked and it was Monday again. Boo!!


On a more positive note, 2 perfect days down, get through today and weigh in tomorrow. Just got to get through work today...


Todays plan

Breakfast: Homemade icecream with 1 cup almond milk, banana, Amazing grass chocolate powder, 1 tbsp choc coconut butter

Snack: Cranberry orange bar

Lunch: Salad with quinoa pasta, tinned salmon, Portugese dressing, spinach, tomato

Dinner: Dal
 
Afternoon all... psyching up for tomorrows weigh in!! Eep, it better be good!


Worked 6.5hrs today, my legs are a lot better... actually, one knee is completely fine, and the other one is still stiffening... so I'm relying more on the other leg which is causing cramps in that ankle. FML. Ankle is a bit swollen.


Pretty sure I'm starting work around 6am-ish tomorrow... I'll post how weigh in goes in the morning anyway!

Snacks (for the whole day, think I might make it 2 separate bags)- Apple cinnamon chips (ingredients are apple and cinnamon only! Hope they're good!

Lunch: Salad with quinoa pasta, tinned salmon in springwater, Portugese salad dressing, tomatoes, spinach

Dinner: Dal (all that's left of it... aw, I might make more the next day!)

Why HELLOOOOOOOOO people!! I'm happy for 2 reasons... I didn't have to start at 6am (just gunna go in when I'm ready, haha) and... I lost 900g this week!!!! 66.5kg.


So... I have 1.5kgs to go and 2 weeks till the end of month weigh in. Going to aim for a 900cal deficit every day this week.
 
916cal deficit today. Arrgh my knee is soooooooooooo annoying, I just want to be 100% again already. Ended up working 7:30-2 today. Got an early one tomorrow, working 6am till whenever...

Will give me a 906cal deficit. So 1 day down, 6 to go!!!!!!!!! Hoping to get down to 65.8kg or less by next week.

Hehe it is really awesome, I bought a really high powered blender that turns anything into ice-cream, I just freeze almond milk overnight with whatever add-ins I want and throw a frozen banana into the mix... comes out like soft serve. Only super healthy and I have it for brekki every morning, haha!
 
Just knocked off work, spent a lot more time on my feet today. Could feel it in my poor knees by the end of it though, got my feet up with ice on them now. They are slowly getting better though, I have a definite improvement on last week... just sucks how slow going it is!!


We had a massive storm here last night, started at around 4am... heaps of lightning and rain!! First time I've seen rain since I've been here (3 months!) I love storms, it was so awesome. Except for all the flooding, and the fact that it's cyclone season here now. Boo!


I have *EXCITING* news!! Me and hubby officially have off Feb from the 7th-28th... going to fly home for 5 days, then spend 2 days in a nice hotel in the city and catch up with friends there... then flying back, having a few days off here, and then driving back to the same place we just stayed at, but for 5 days this time. Going to be BLISS. Also... I could potentially be at my goal weight by then!! Also... Feb 11 is my birthday, and it's a Sat, so should have awesome fun catching up and possibly partying that weekend with all the people I haven't seen in forever. Still a fair while away... but I'm so excited!!!


Been really good again today, so 2 perfect days down, 5 more till weigh day...

Yea so I overdid it with walking around at work yesterday, took a lot longer for my knee to go down and I had pins n needles for ages after putting my feet up. So annoying!! I'm in the worst mood today and I'm not really sure why, I feel like rampaging. Like I'm ANGRY. I thought I had a mosquito bite on my finger this morning where my wedding rings are, and after looking at it a lot closer, I'm pretty sure it's dermatitis. And I spent 10 painful minutes in a queue at the end of yesterday buying two bottles of water for yesterday and one for today (can't drink the tap water here) and my second one has disappeared.. pretty sure Wade drank it or took it to work. Which is really annoying because there's no water in the house and I'm not starting work till like 11 today! He could've at least asked me!! I'm freakin thirsty!!!! O yea, and him and Ash haven't been helping me around the house at ALL this week, it's fucking painful for me to stand there and do the dishes!! It's not my fault I have to work shorter hours, I do it so I can REST not so I can clean up after them!! :rant:


Argh so yea... I really don't know what's wrong with me today. Just angry and over it. And I'm so frustrated I can't exercise!! I'm shrinking but I'm getting jigglier every week too!! Need to crawl under a rock somewhere till this mood passes or I may just hurt someone...........
 
Oh man, isn't it crazy how stresses will build like that until you feel like you're just gonna burst?? With my injury I can get really frustrated with my boyfriend when he's oblivious to the fact that I need help with something - then you add in the pain on top if it and ... yeah ... just no good! So yes, I can completely see why you're feeling on edge -- the housework issue seems to be at the base of it, maybe if you were able to get that off your chest with them, then all the other annoyances would be easier to handle? When something's really got you upset, its so easy to direct that feeling at everything else that goes on.


I totally feel you on the frustration with not exercising, it's so hard when you have the motivation but you can't have the follow-through. I'm not sure how much you can move, but I've been doing a lot of yoga, especially moves that focus on strength training, it makes me work up one heck of a sweat and it definitely tones!


At least you have what sounds like an amazing trip coming up! Where is home? Sounds so exciting!

Sorry all for my above rampage... I seriously have no idea where that all came from. I was so angry up until I went to work and then I was fine! We are having people over tomorrow arvo and hubby just came out and said he'll have the house sparkling by then... SO glad I didn't have to ask him! I'm just so frustrated about being injured!!


Sparked- I can actually move around a fair bit, I'm not in pain... but after being on my feet for say an hour, I'll find I suddenly can hardly pick up my feet lol. Above my knees just swells! I've just started really gently stretching out all my muscles in the morning and at night. After work I have to put my feet up and ice my knees to get the swelling down again. I get random pulling feelings in my knees sometimes too, think all my muscles have gotten super tight from not moving around much. My hip flexors especially!!


Home is 2 places actually, I lived in Perth (Western Australia) for 2 years before coming up here, and before that I was living in a small city a few hours south of Perth. All my family and some of my friends are there, so staying there for 5 days, and catching up with Perth friends the couple days before we fly back. Hopefully there's no weather drama, Feb is prime cyclone time so it could interfere with plans. Fingers crossed!
 
I made the dal extra spicy this time, was soooooooooooooooooooooo good. YUM. '

No idea when I'll work tomorrow, both Ash and Wade have the day off... so whenever I guess! I'll just go in whenever I'm ready. Got a fair bit to get through anyway so will be working a bit longer. Then it's the weekend- YAY!


ETA- changed food for today... got snacky and ate some raw peppermint chocolate and some popchips. Ended the day with a 282 cal deficit... planning on doing 4 1000cal deficit days to make up for it!

4 perfect days to count down till weigh day! I'm bringing it! Love that this is catching on with everyone too, it makes life so much easier aiming for a few days rather than thinking about big goals ahead. I'm starting work at 9 today, think I'll work till 2 or 3. And then... the weekend!!!


Wade is having surgery today, he's been coughing up blood for a couple of weeks. It's actually completely unrelated to his having cancer- something he's eaten or swallowed has pierced his stomach lining so he has to go in and get some internal stitches. They wanted to do it straight away last Fri when they had the results but he still wanted to be able to work on Sat, stubborn boy. So he has the weekend off but will probably be sleeping and in a bit of pain, he's only allowed to eat liquids for 3 days too afterwards.


I don't have any plans this weekend... caught up on all the episodes of Dexter I was behind on yesterday arvo, finished playing LA Noire the day before (awesome game if anyone is an Xbox fan!) Hubby has tomorrow off too but I think it's just going to be a relaxing weekend all round. I think next weekend we might drive to the next town (2.5hours away) see if we have any money by then! I'm trying to hoard as much as I can for our holiday and Christmas. It'll be my first Christmas away from my family... so we've decided to go all out and mega decorate the house, and have stockings n everything! (Well, more Wade and I, hubby is a bit indifferent) I'm going to make a huge (healthy) feast too. Can't believe it's under 2 months away! Eep!

Been super lazy, hubby had the day off and so did Wade... watched all of season 1 of Sex and the City with Wade, and this arvo watched a couple of movies with hubby in bed. Had an extra coffee but doubt the extra 1/8th of a cup of skim milk is going to do much to me. Planning another slack one tomorrow:

I like the taste better than dairy milk in my breakfast ice-cream! Actually I can drink it in my coffee fine too, but it tends to separate a bit. Ick.
