Heyo; yah I'm being a dumbass about not drinking enough water also. I'm right there with you on changing that. Good on you for resisting the treats today ! Nite nite.

Yea I did the calculation and found out I am supposed to drink 141 oz, which is like 17-18 cups ... I can easily do that! Usually I drink coffee, but now I have grown a taste for filtered water! lol

Come on Nat! Get that water down :) I sometimes HAFTA use crystal lite packs; the tea ones are usually my fav. I didn't drink enuf today either, and DAMN could I feel it. Uggh. Keep up those killer walks lady!

To tell you the truth, I havent had a good walk for four days, friking freezing by bummy off. but Today going out. Gonna rock the sidewalk. Its only going to be 15 degrees when I go out and a wind chill of 23-25mph ..but I dont care, I am going, or its dance aerobics with some hip music ..but I wanna wanna walk..

I already know about kidneys and the color of my urine lol .. it has been darker.. I am not taking in enough water, plus the doc already told me so, and I go see the eye doc in a month to get it checked out. It can affect your eyes in a good way or bad way. Its good to drink lots of water, so your eyes stay moist, otherwise you have many problems... I take a lot of meds and they dry me out, but I dont drink. I need to start drinking more water, otherwise I am screwwed, so more water it is. I was chugging the water down yesterday afternoon and night ..

:cheers2:So alas, my poor ticker is moving backwards, my butterfly is being a butt and moving backward to four pound gain, but BUT, I am walking today. I dont care how freaking cold it is. I will be walking at four pm in 15 degree weather with wind chills of 25mph... its gonna be cold. I plan to keep the hood over my hat, bundled up in a winter jacket and have warm socks on... mittens and wrap the scarf across my neck and in front of my mouth so I can breath in warm air. I hate walking in this weather, but I must. It is so important I get this in. and I am going to. Been eating too much and been eating at night. Seems like I was controlling myself during the day and not eating enough, I dont know, I am really trying to learn all about caloric intake, deficits and such. I plug in numbers to figure out which are the best activities with the biggest caloric deficits and walking seems to be good ...just a stroll brings you down 56 calories. I think I will be strolling through this weather, because if I really work my heart up, I am going to be sucking in cold weather, but the scarf will help, but this is getting to be dangerous weather, but it will only be like thirty miinutes total, meeting Derek at Walgreens.. I am doing this!! I am dedicated to my health and well being and if not this .. I am going to put a tank top on and sweat my butt off by dancing .. I know all aerobic steps.. you have no clue how many dvds I have done, thats why I dont do them. ... they are boring for me. and I am a good dancer and I know how to make my heart pounds even better than walking, with out Derek here I could probably work in an hour or so of dancing .. and they do have it listed on fitday.com

but I am going to eat grapes when I get hungry, they fill me up. They are perfect and I measure out four oz at a time. Snacks ... I love the red grapes .. I will becareful because they do have calories, but its better than chocolate, and its close to VDAY ..so the chocolate is wafting in every aisle .. I HATE IT!! lol .. I want a stuffed reddish pink monkey, with kisses on the face to add to my collection. I already have seen it! lol He just has to go buy it. And this little cute lion with reddish orange spots on his body and this mane of crazy reddish pink hair! Hillarious as hell!!

And I am getting him something, I think I am going to get him a stuffed animal... I am going to play a prank lol but I love him, and I will give him .. I dont know .. I am going to prank him and get him a cute little card ... probably one of those "hoops and yo yo cards" They are hillarious... lol

Ohh you just reminded me that I need to drink more water as well. Lately I don't seem to be drinking as much. Used to drink too much water:( But anyway... good luck with everything, and stay warm!

Wow, isn't that funny... You're going to be wrapping your scarf around your face to keep in the warm air and I'll be heading out today before daybreak to get the coolest air I can before the unbearable heat starts.... Different methods, but the same GOAL: Getting that exercise!!! :party:

I find it's really hard to find an aerobics instructor who's willing to incorporate quite a bit of choreography into their routine... Everyone seems to take the easy way out... high reps, simple routines, it gets boring and tiring!!!

Good on you for braving that inclement seriously grisly weather. I think in your place, I would just curl up in bed with a book and a cup of cocoa - slap me, slap me!

As much as I love dancing, and keep quite good time, I find anything except the simplest steps hard to pick up - once I've got them, I do them well but I'm a slow learner at that so I'd never make a dancer!! :D At the step classes I go to she includes some very simple choreography but nothing too complex, so that's ideal for me as I need to be burning the cals not standing there trying to focus on learning complicated moves! :D

Butttt each to their own, obviously you pros need a bit more to stimulate you! :D

We all slip up now and then, we're only human. Just don't let it get you down and keep on trying...It gets easier :)

If you can get around 2 litre's of water a day then you should fuel your body well enough. I've heard you need 2.5 but you get .5 from the food you eat and i've also heard you should drink more if your exercising...I'm not sure how much more though (can anyone enlighten me?)

I read some of your old diary and a bit of this one, you seem determined to get your ideal weight which is a quality I really admire. Keep it up!
 
I read in one of my several nutrition/weight management books, the most important decision we make in weight loss or weight management is the one we make AFTER our indulgences. Because that's the decision that separates us from the rest of the pack, the people who give up.

Along the same lines, my girlfriend said over supper Friday night, what separates winners from losers is only ONE single thing ... losers give up and winners keep trying.

Way to keep on trying Baby!!

I can honestly say I am still trying! But its been so cold, but I hope to get out tomorrow. Its will be in the thirties. perfect!!! We need to go to the library and I want to get a thirty to forty minute walk in after that, but seeing as its been many days since I walked, I will probably do my best on a thirty minute walk, but I am thinking bringing weights in on some days would be a good idea. I want to get my upper body slimmer, its growing in mounds ... big time ..its like it keep getting bigger.. so I need to do boxxing techniques and I need to do walking ..lots of walking ..

Yea I have been a little. ..eh ...bummed about my weight. I really am trying to get control over the eating and get moving. My functional support person says once it warms up we are going to walk around the parks path quite a bit when the snow clears some and I am looking forward to that. Someone else to walk and talk with ..another girl ...its awesome ..girl talk!! She is overweight too ..we are going to pump up the volume and walk to our hearts content, but that wont be till the end of the month or beginning of next month..
I, myself will try to get out more than that ... in February.. I know its cold, but I cant afford a gym and I want to get healthy ..so "I need to walk regardless of cold weather ..been off the wagon a little, but I am still trying

Hey Nat, everyday is a new start. I don't really believe you completely fall off the wagon. You still want to lose weight. You are still taking the steps to lose weight. Everyday is a new day. Focus on that. Focus on doing good today and you will be right back at it :)
