Hey 7th (great name by the way! you must be a lucky one

)
I think it was water weight because I weighed myself again yesterday and was down a kilo in 24 hours. I don't think my guts like flour, it takes a really long walk for the bloating to go down!!
A quick update:
Food-wise:
Eating 3 square (or round) meals a day, much too much toast, NO chocolate (take THAT fat!

), 2 muffins each day and a cooked dinner consisting of vegie casseroles, fried steak/fish, lentil soup or just more toast.
Exercise-wise:
Still doing the C25K (gay version - aka low impact jogging on the spot in room while watching the Tour de France), and now up to 2nd day of Week 6. I NEVER thought I could get this far so I'm stoked!
Still walking in mornings, although this week I've only walked one day, that was Wednesday, for 123 minutes, and I was totally alien legs at the end of it.
Up to 17 push-ups on knees (elbow still crunching away), 44 upper ab crunches and 14 lower ab crunches.
Fitness stats:
HR is 156 after 20 minutes of non-stop light jogging (was 180-190 in Week 1 of the program 3 weeks ago).
Weight Loss stats:
Lost 7.5kg (16.5 lbs) since 28 April.
Waist measurement has gone from 96cm at the end of April to 86cm this morning.
Measurements on 17/6/09:
*Bust: 105cm
*Waist: 90cm
*Hips: 122cm
Measurements this morning (24/7/09):
*Bust: 102cm
*Waist: 86cm
*Hips: 116.5cm
Most of the difference in clothing has been in the pants (thighs/butt) which I have not recorded, sadly. The most stubborn fat appears to be on the upper torso and upper back. (Flaps still flapping away...)
So far, I'm okay with my progress but I have a goal of 82kg for the end of this month and I really want to reach it.
On this line of thought, I've been penniless from no work and wondered if I should sell my bike which I never ride, to get some more cash and buy an iPod for doing the C25K etc. So I cleaned the bike up, took some photos and prepared to advertise it online but then everyone commented on how brand new and nice and unused it looked (with drink bottle, chain, helmet, everything) and I felt sorry for it and decided to give it another go on learning to ride this high, precarious monster which is so unlike the bikes I used to have in the past. I'm just a chicken and I told myself to snap out of it...! Because if I can start riding in the evenings I will start losing fat big-time and toning up the legs like nothing else! So I've decided to leave off the selling biz for another month, lose some more weight so I don't feel so heavy and off-balance, and then see if I can go out riding. There are some great bike tracks around here and walking only exposes me to 1/10th of them... not so with riding!! (Ah Le Tour de France, I love you! You inspire me monsieurs!!)
So all good and today is cold so naturally, I am over the moon!
May everybody have a smashing weekend!
