In addition to the weight loss so far I am feeling more energetic, I wake earlier and my wife has commented I have stopped snoring.
 
Well done so far!

That is one of the "hidden" benefits of losing weight, a better night's rest (and not just for your partner because you snore less ;) )
Lot's of overweight ppl have sleep apnea without even being aware of it.
 
I dipped below 100 Kilos 220 Lbs for the first time yesterday. Will update again tomorrow with exact weight.

I am delighted, today marks 2 weeks since my challenge to myself to lose weight and get in shape. I have lost 13 Lbs without skipping a single meal and occasionally enjoying a little treat, for example my wife and I took my daughter to Pizza Hut at the weekend and we had a (healthy) picnic and a big family dinner party.

Things I have cut out altogether: Milk, Red Meat, Biscuits, Chocolate, Sugar, Alcohol (save for 1 whisky)
Things I eat more of: Vegetables, Bananas, Cereal (Special K), Chicken
Things I have cut down on: Bread, Cheese, Potatoes

And I exercise for 30-40 mins every day (just light cardio).
 
It's a great feeling when you put a piece of clothing on and realise it's now too big. My jeans are now too big and I have dug out a pair that I haven't worn in 2 years and they fit plus a pair of trousers I hadn't previously been able to get into.
 
Thanks! I have a whole suitcase of stuff in the attic I haven't been able to fit in for more than 5 years :)

Also just bought a rowing machine on Ebay - collecting later today.
 
216 Lbs after the weekend. Worked out on Saturday on the rowing machine and spent 4 hours gardening and had Barbecue on Saturday eveing - had my first beer for 3 weeks (just the one) and plenty of couscous and chicken (no bread, no sausages).

Sunday is the first day in 3 weeks I didn't work out but 6 trips to the council recycling tip with garden waste should have made up for it.

In addition to the exercise the key for me seems to be 3 regular meals, make lunch the main meal of the day and drinks loads of water.

Yesterday I had:

Breakfast: Bran flakes with almond milk, banana
Lunch: Couscous with roasted pepper, onion, aubergine, pine nuts, cranberry and half a can of tuna
Dinner: 2 boiled eggs and a bowl of apple, banana, kiwi, melon and pineapple
