Hey Lady, thanks for stopping by.

Glad to see you're still doing great. I'm gonna have to steal a few pointers from your menu, yum.

Wow Lilly...you are 210lbs....I can only sit and ponder what it feels like @ that weight. hee hee. MAYBEEEEEEeeeee by the end of January, just maybe.

Major announcement: *clearing my throat*

Tysha will be competing in her first 5k this saturday Nov 1st. :hurray::cheers2:

I punked out Oct 18th and Oct 25th and let the races pass me by but punky brewster is jumping on in. Earlier this year when I really got into joggin/running I said I would do a race before year end so...nothing to it but to do it homies!!! I keep telling myself I can always walk some of the way if I have to.

I am...let's see...

Nervous, yes
excited, um huh
scared...oh yea

but PUMPED UP :willy_nilly: Whoooo HOooo

Leaving work now to sign up for the race before I change my mind. hee hee :gnorsi:

Oh yea...no major deviations from my diet yet. Had some soft mints..(why did I buy a tub of those to put on my desk?...my client's/co workers pass'em on by and I'm the one eating them every day).

Much better in Kickboxing this morning. Okay, so I was being lazy last week. Bite me. lol

Lisa sparred with me today-how the hell or why the hell do I always attract the attention of the instructor? She made me do 10 jabs over again because I gave up on the tail end of the 2nd set. :boxing: AND when we did abs at the end of class I couldnt hold myself up for the whole count so she made the whole class wait for me in the plank position until I got back up. Me thinks she's trying to help me but damn, that hurt.

SIGNALED OUT and bullied :D I love it! LOL--nah, it's for your own good I bet she thinks. She probably likes you!

Thanks Curvie!! My nephew and I will be out spooking tonight then I'll kick it at home giving out candy to the kiddos.

My nephew is the funniest...last year there was this really scary house in the neighborhood. So I was like Shawn, let's go get some candy from them. He said '...auntie, we don't need to go there; they're gonna give us the same candy we already got...' :smilielol5::rotflmao: I was rolling. hee hee

So, 50 pound challenge starts tomorrow. We've accumalated a bit of a group which makes it so much more fun. I love to talk 'ish cause I'm super competitive. So I can't wait til it gets going good.

The attatchment is one of my visuals I keep at the office. 50 marbles...of course with every pound lost I get to lose a marble from the dish. Let's just hope I don't have to add any back...I'll update pic every month.

Your nephew is the cutest!

I like your "visual." :)

My youtube buddy Biggerflexible sent me this video today, I thought it was hilarious and I agreed 100%

:smilielol5::rofl:@ Kat Williams...that man is a trip. Girl, when I was in S Africa I went on a safari with one of those nut cases Kat was talking about. I was like...if you don't sit yo' azz down and stop trying to get the lion's attention...Imma half to kick yo' azz maself. lol Had my blood pressa all up and stuffasis. :biggrinjester:

Today I spent 4.5 hrs in line early voting; so long I started to sing ole' negro spirituals so I wouldn't just turn around and go home. People fought and died so I could stand those 4.5 hours so it's all good in the hood homies!!

Thoughts during my first 5k race

-Let me get in right here at the front so I can save some time
-See, it isn't that bad but I think imma bout to lose my spandex.
-If I keep this pace up I'll be done in no time.
-I gotta take a whiz.
-Damn, the guy with the stroller is gaining on me.
-And there he goes, going, going, gone.
-The treadmill is a liar.
-Who knew this city had so many hills.
-It's okay to walk Tee.
-Thank God for Michael Jackson. You wanna be starting sumphin.
-C'mon, try some more baby.
-How much longer?
-Dern, did I just gain 15 pounds on each of my thighs or something?
-Oh okay 1 more mile.
-You will not take a side street.
-I see the finish line...let's hustle.
-Ok, maybe not.
-You still a bad mama jama.
-That rocked, can't wait to do it again!

42ish minutes and more determined than eva to train smarter, run further and stronger. Think my 4-6 month goal will be to shave a solid 5 minutes off of this time. Which is totally doable cause I walked alot this race.

Oh my Gosh you had me laughing so hard!!!!!!
I still get the feeling that "want" to run but so far I have been able to stomp it down! LOL
I just know for all that I "want" to run I wouldn't get very far before I fell flat on my face! haha

Way to go waiting in line to vote!!!!!
I won a scholarship in H.S. for writing a paper on Freedom being our most Precious Heritage.
I believe in it so much that I take my kids with me every time I vote. I want them to see how important it is. That and they love how all the people fawn all over them. They even give them a sticker that says they voted. Which in essence they do. Since I let them push the big red button.

I like how you cycled your calories and didn't trip out when the scale number rose--you're smart and you know it'll drop, too--and soon! Enjoy your menu and have a Goal Reachin' week!!! LOL!

Hey Lady...I'm about to make my diary rounds as well. Always glad to see ya stop in.

Decided to fall back from the treadmill running some-even with raising the incline it doesn't match the experience of the outdoors. Today I did 45m on an indoor track this PM...I jogged the whole way no problems...which makes me realize the importance of pacing myself.

I think what I'll do is 2 days a week for 45m-slower pace on indoor track, 2 days a week 20m-faster pace on treadmill, 1 day a week outdoor track. ***Edited to add that I'll have to pay attention to my body, cause sista ain't feeling an injury.***

I ate a lot of soft mints today...the tub will be gone by the end of this week. Other than that I stayed on track.

Ya'll have a good night.
