Even though it was a low calorie day, it looks like you were eating really good food... salmon, chicken, lots of fruit and vegetables... so no, I don't think it could hurt that much for just one day. It's easy to have a low calorie day when you're eating great food like that. I understand about those low calorie days though, when you're down to the end and wondering what on earth you could do to boost your calories a couple hundred. :p It's an interesting twist considering it was so hard at one point to not eat far too many calories every day. I hope it was a good, exciting kind of dramatic day for you. :)

Thanks Jana :) Yeah that is very true, I didn't really have anything high calorie that day but i feel i still got quite a few nutrients. By the time 11pm came around i felt hungry but until then i really was not. Didn't eat anything extra though.

So i think my body was telling me i didn't eat enough yesterday. I was ravenous today! I am still hungry, even, but going to let supper settle a slight bit more to see if i really need a snack or not. I have an early start tomorrow morning so i need to get to bed early as well, which will help. The calories for breakfast are not 100% exact (woke up to breakfast made by hubby) but close enough :)

That is so incredibly sweet that your husband made you breakfast this morning. <3 Awww. It is times like that I am sad to be single. Hehe. He sounds like a good one.

He is awesome (but of course i'm biased!) :)

I wouldn't worry about being single :) I wasn't looking for anyone at all and then he came into my life...sometimes that is the best way. :)

hehe I hope you appreciate breakfast from your guy. I do something for my wife, and she either doesn't notice, or starts reminding me of all the ways I DON'T help out around the house or something :p Not much incentive to do more or help out more if its never going to be enough :p I guess thats what us guys are for though :)

I definitely appreciate breakfast!! It is always a surprise and i get woken up by the call of "Breakfast's ready!" :) It is very sweet :)

I had the most exhuasting day ever today, and i am not exaggerating. I was helping out at a kids summer camp all day, and barely got to stand still the whole day, nevermind sit down (HA!). It was fun, but so tiring. They cooked some food and i tried some very small bits of it, but i will say whatever i ate more than got compensated by all the running around i did, and so i am not including it in calorie counts.

Hey Shygemini, just popping in to say CONGRATS on the 3.2lb weight loss this week - really well done and to echo JannNanner - looks like good healthy food most of the time too.

Keep it up, I'm sure you'll be clocking through the 260s in no time!

Thank you so mu ch, i appreciate it! :) I think the food is truely the key...you can exercise but if your food is not in check and monitored you will not lose...whereas when maintaining you don't need to monitor food as closely (by calorie counting)...and eyeballing and exercise works at that point.

Missed posting last night! Yesterday was not a stellar day, ate out for all meals...but i think i did mostly ok except for the paralyzer i had at night. I avoided popcorn, candy, and icecream at the movies, even though i stood in the ice cream line to get water...so that is pretty good in my opinion!

Today i did an insane amount of exercise. It wasn't exactly on purpose...i was supposed to go for a walk yesterday with a friend, but she postponed until today (which is fine). But I also went to a gym class, and walked to the gym. So it added up!

A fun thing is that I used my heart rate monitor today, which i hadn't used for a couple years. It is a really good one. So i actually know how many calories i burned walking to the gym, and at my gym class. I didn't have it on for my walk with my friend though.

Walk to gym - 23 minutes, 229 calories
Zumba class- 42 minutes, 556 calories

Walk with friend - 45 minutes, ~350 calories (estimate).

So i burned a ton of calories exercising today. I am not sure how much exercising i'll get done the next little while as family is coming into town for a few days. I hope to still get it done.

So far i've only eaten 1660 calories, which isn't much especially considering the amount of exercise i did today. I will likely eat some more later tonight.

Well done on the exercise and food Shygemini!

Have a great nite!

Thank you so much ! :) I like keeping track of my food...it helps me see where i'm doing good and where i can improve.

I spent about 1.5-2 hours tonight cleaning the house...so burned yet more calories. I think my body is going to go on strike! But it had to be done (company coming tomorrow!).

So i decided I deserved to have a treat, and got my favorite: Tim Horton's Iced Coffee (with cream and sugar) yummmm.

It is 260 calories for a large, so my total calories for the day was 1920. This is still very good considering the amount i burned today! And I feel better about that number.

It is interesting to think that every night I used to have a sweet coffee like that...and often it would be something else that was even more calories, and might have had whipped cream on it..so now that it is a treat, i appreciate it alot more! I remember thinking 260 calories isn't much...but on top of everything else i used to do, it was alot. So now it will be a special treat :D
