My journey to good health

Sounds like you were very controlled Shy, it takes a lot when presented with all your favourites laid out on a table....I find those the hardest situations to deal with...its all there...waiting and seems such a shame not to eat it!! I try and tell myself...yep you want a bit of everything but its not the last chance you'll ever get to eat that pudding or this one so CHOSE one, have a little portion and at some stage in the future you'll get to chose the other one. As opposed to eating like its my last supper ever!!

I have to say that the change in clothes is the biggest motivator for me in losing weight - putting something on that was really tight before and is then loose is like WAAAHAAAYYYY something is happening afterall, I'm not just imagining that I look better, I MUST do.


Thank you! Exactly...there will always be another dessert to eat! i am trying to save eating them for special occasions or when i really want something. Otherwsie i try to avoid it

I am loving that my jacket is fitting looser...nevermind that it doesn't have a zipper and i can't do it up for that reason....but if it had one i'd be golden! LOL
 
Long time no post!

Basically life has been crazy busy. We moved into our new house and two days later it was our 1st wedding anniversary. A bunch of other stressful things have been happening as well which i won't get into here, well maybe i'll mention one...someone ran their car (drunk driver) into our side fence! This happened on our anniverrsary, lovely. So imagine a few more things along that line and you will get an idea of why i haven't been around :)

School also has started back now and i am going to be really busy this year, but learning lots of awesome stuff :D

Good news...i lost weight during the crazyness that has been my life recently! I am now at 258.8 lbs and quite happy about it :) That is now 20lbs lost! :)
 
wow! Congrats on the 20lbs milestone - great going!! Here's to the next 20lbs!!

I know how it can get mad crazy busy! If you are gaving problems focusing on good food choices or exercise, do pop in here for 5 mins though, so we can keep you on the straight and narrow....or just to catchup with us all!!
 
Hey :) I saw you posted in Stacy's journal a while back and thought I'd swing by your journal and say hi. I saw you'd logged in yesterday but then realized you hadn't posted in a while. Stacy hasn't either but has also logged in. So I figured what the heck, I'll say hi anyway. Glad you guys are still stoppin in though and hope to see you back soon! Happy Holidays
