My journey to good health....and a hot bod ;)

Unfortunately yesterday I did mess up. I went to the cinema and bought quavers and a footlong hotdog (it was gorgeous!) but I had only has a bowl of cereal and a banana during the day. So I was happy with that........then my friend said "should we go to McDonalds on the way home?" And me having terrible self control agreed. I ended up having a medium chicken nugget meal with strawberry milkshake and a mcflurry. Haha! So yeah, well and truely messed up.

The good news is, i've done well today. So totally made up for it!

I've had.......

A bowl of cornflakes with semi skimmed milk
Half a banana
5 slices of chicken with cucumber and lettuce
2 large snack a jacks (only 38 cals each)

I've just finished my exercise. Wooohooo! And about to make my tea which will be a portion of cod with broccoli and carrots. Mmmmm! Yum yum :)

That's AMAZING, well done! you must be soooo happy. Haha ahh bad times on the McDonalds - it's sooo tempting every now and then though isn't it! And I think if you're gonna have it you may as well go for the whole shebang,and we all deserve a treat every now and then! What did you see at the cinema?

Thank youu! Haha well I fully blame my friend, I had no intention of getting a McDonalds and she bloody mentioned one and then suddenly I was craving. It was nice though! Hehe.

I went to see no strings attached. It was quite good actually. Dragged out a bit at the end, and the actors weren't amazing but it was worth a watch! :) Theres two films coming out next month that i'm dyyyying to see. Water for elephants (with the gorgeous Robert Pattinson) and Red Riding Hood. Great cinema line up this year! Woohooooo :)
 
They have such good oreo mcflurries and chicken nuggets are so good!

Good job on doing well today though! Congrats on the 160!

Well this might give you a laugh folks. I can't believe how stupid i've been. I've seen Titanic since I was a kid, I think I was 8 when I first seen it, and here I am going on 20 and i've only just found out what the ending was all about. I though Rose was dreaming in her bed and i've been content thinking this for all these years. Then 3 days ago I was on a different forum with a thread talking about Titanic and I realised that the general consensus was that Rose had died and gone to heaven to be reunited with Jack after all these years and i'm like WHAT?!?!! So yesterday I watched the film with a friend and bawled like a baby at the end. That's never happened before, I can't believe after all those years, this is the emotional response it's brought out of me. How could I be so stupid as to miss what is was really about?! Then tonight I watched the ending again and I think I lasted about 5 secs of the scene and I was breaking my heart again. Thought it might amuse you guys to see what a dodo I really am! :banghead: I'll never watch Titanic in the same light again!! Poor Jack :(

Well done on hitting 160 - that is AMAZING!!

Your doing really well, the occaisional oops isn't going to make a difference. Good luck getting into the 150's this week!

Thank youuu! I've certainly got my fingers crossed, hehe. This time last year I was 150, so 150 is my first goal weight. I'll be able to fit into all my old clothes. And then crack on with getting to 127. I'm hoping I can achieve this for the middle of september when I move back to uni. Arrrrgh!

Well today has been a good one. I've had......

2 weetabix with semi skimmed milk
5 slices of chicken with lettuce and cucumber
And will be having 2 weetabix with semi skimmed milk again for tea.

I know i've not/will not be eating much today but I don't have much food in. So will be taking a trip to Asda tomorrow! :)

No exercise will be done tonight, I think my legs need a rest and I need to crack on with this assignment due friday. How exciting! :rofl:
 
*Yawns* I'm soooo tired! Using this website as a distraction from my work. Hehe. It's currently quarter to 5 in the morning here in England and i'm absolutely shattered. I refuse to go to bed until I get this bloody essay done.......easier said than done when I have the net for a distraction. Muahahahaha
 
Well today has been another successful one! :)

I've had.......

2 bags of crisps (ok yes this wasn't healthy but I had no milk or cereal, so had to make do with the vending machine outside)
A bowl of cornflakes
A small carton of orange juice

And I will be having 2 scrambled eggs for tea.

I reckon i'll be doing my exercise tonight also. I'm hoping to break into the 150s by tomorrows weigh in. But we shall seeeee!

Ohhhh and my good news is that i'm way ahead with my assignment due in on friday. I only need 50 words now to finish woooopeee! And then I can spend the rest of my week focusing on exercising. YAY!

Oh no believe me I do. I can be a complete pig if I want to. I'm only eating so little at the moment because i'm too lazy to go to Asda so having to make do with things I can pick up at the local corner shop, eg eggs and cereal. When I eventually get my backside to Asda i'll be eating more stuff like bananas, yogurts, biscuits and snack a jacks! :p

And thanks! It sure feels good :)

EDIT: Exercise done :hurray: was so hard to do today. I had to talk myself into it, then when I finally got going I felt like I had no energy and was going to throw up at any minute. Lovely! Ha. Least its over with now :hurray: Oh, note to self: don't eat cereal before exercising!

Hey it's not always healthy to not eat much you know! I personally am not doing it intentionally - I just haven't done my weekly trip to the supermarket yet so making do with what the corner shop sells. Don't go eating less because I am!! (unless you genuinely do need to cut down on your cals of course).
 
Well how much are you eating? As long as you are within your calorie limit then you're ok! :) I'm glad i'm useful for something, hehe!

Today has been a good day, I've been to the cinema to see Unknown, was pretty good actually, the reviews aren't that great so I was a little undecided whether to see it or not but I did, it's worth a watch! And today I bought The Town on dvd, if anyone hasn't seen it, see it! It's a brilliant film - not usually what i'd go for, i'm not a fan of action films but this one pleasantly surprised me by being a romance as well. Amazing film.

Foodwise today has been good too.....

2 weetabix with semi skimmed milk
A ham sandwich (2 slices of bread) with a small bottle of orange juice
A footlong sub (chicken and lettuce only)

I really shouldn't have gotten that sub, I know thats a lot of bread in one day but I was hungry and subway is the healthiest take away kinda thing there is. So Subway it was.

I'm just about to do my exercise now and then depending on how I feel after, may have a/2 scrambled egg(s).

I'm starting to notice a difference in my body too now. Its looking more toned in places, i'm noticing muscle in my arms and legs :hurray: ......still 2 stone to go though until i'm not classed as overweight ......sooo can't wait until that day comes. I'm going to celebrate when I hit my goal by going out and raiding the clothes shops. Ohhhh yeah!!

Feeling quite positive today - i'll feel even better tomorrow though if those scales show me 11st 5lb, please please please *prays* haha! Ciao for now folks :)

EDIT: Exercise done :hurray: .......come on scales, be good to me tomorrow.......put a smile on my face ;)

Heya!! I am glad to hear you are seeing a difference physically. I think that makes a big difference when you are trying to lose weight. It's so motivating!!

Well I did indeed see some good news today. I'm now 159lb :party: officially in the 150s. Wooohooooo! :hurray::hurray::hurray:

Today is going to be a good one I reckon. This afternoon i'm going to be in the audience for the jeremy kyle show. Ahhh! Haha anyone that knows me knows how much I love that show! Excited!!

Wellllll i've had a very good day today. I've been in the audience on the jeremy kyle show. I seen a tiny portion of the coronation street set, i've seen Maria and Tina from corrie. Maria smiled and waved at us. Ahhh! And of course Jezza Kyle the man himself. A very awesome day.

Not only that, my friends asked me to go a chinese with them (after the show) for a buffet meal, but I declined saying that I really must stick to my diet so I bid them farewell. Ahhhh i'm so proud of myself! Never been able to do that before. Sooooo all in all a very good day! :)

I'll report back later with the details of my food intake today. :)

EDIT: Well foodwise, i've had.......

1 grab bag of quavers (larger bag than normal)
A bottle of orange juice
And a bowl of cornflakes

I know i've not eaten much but i've been out all day so missed the opportunity to have lunch. Tomorrow I plan on being back to my 3 meals a day! :)

EDIT AGAIN: Ha! I was faffing around with digits and realised I need to lose 23lbs to be considered normal weight. Which is good news because I thought it was going to be another stone. Yes it's not much difference. only 5lbs, but still, that's 5lb closer to a normal weight than what I thought. So my original first goal stands at 150lb. My second goal is 136lb. And then my final is to get to 9stone which I think is 127 but i'm not sure. But wow yeah, now i'm going to think oooo 22lb more, no 21lb more! :) I know I don't want to be borderline normal, but still I think it's a huge deal being classed as normal rather than overweight, so right now that is what i'm focusing on! :)
