My fresh start

Hey ladies, I've had a couple of quiet days on here aye. Been feeling a bit low, but I'm still going good on the food and exercise.

The pedometer is really helping me I think. Especially on days like today when I have a morning shift and then have to go back for a night. I used to be v sedentary on those days, but today and the last night shift cycle, I went for a proper walk which seems to have made the day a bit better.

I also bought a bundle of 5 jillian shred lady exercise DVDs which were on a daily deal, and they came a couple of days ago, so I tried out the 'yoga shred', and it brought home to me how unfit I am, but also how much fitter I am than a year ago. Some good and bad there.

I bought some hummus today to shake my diet up a bit, so yummy, I'll take some to night shift. I measured out a portion, and I could probably eat 3 x that much, oh well, just shows how easy it is to over eat.

I hope everyone else is doing ok. Hopefully I'll cheer up tomorrow, and I can give you a rundown on my steps and meals etc.

Hey you - hope you feel better!
Good job on the food/exercise! I love hummmus! I make my own now! It's great snack: we have it as a dip with celery/carrot or we use it as a spread on wraps! Yum!

I've had a couple of busy days, lots of outside work, and once I ad in a walk each day, lots of cals burnt. I eat my exercise cals so I've been able to eat a bit extra too which is nice! I'm looking lower on the scales again, so it'll be nice to weight in officially tomorrow for the challenge.

I realise I haven't been entering my food here for a few days, but I think I'll start doing it again, cause coming here really helps. I've been a bit slack about catching up with everyone's diaries too. Look out here I come!

B scrambled eggs w smoked salmon
L tin spaghetti and toast
S 25 g chic
D hamburger! & salad
S fruit

Wow Anna, you are doing fab!! I wish I could get motivated like you with all the exercise. I'm sure you will have a great weigh in tomorrow for the challenge.

Great job!

Hey Anna - good work on keeping in calories & all the walking & 0utside work exercise .

hhmmmm.... your scale is looking lower eh??? ( just knew U were going to beat me this week... lol ) View attachment 19870

cheers, Maryann

Yay for the food & the exercise!
Good luck with the weigh in (apparently you dont really need it :D - good job)

Umm I didn't have such a great weekend. But I'm moving on, back into the healthy options.

I'm back into it today, and I tried on some old jeans that didn't fit last year, but they are fitting really well now, so that's pretty cool. It motivates me to keep trying! I'd really like to see a loss this week, so I'm going to try hard again for the rest of the week.

I'm also following a learn to run plan, and today I added in 3x4 min jogs into my walk.

Go me!

Haha Maryann not sure,,, I lost a pound last week, and a pound the week before, would love to lose more, but slow and steady is the key I think.

I log my food on mfp, but I think I'll keep logging it here, showing you guys what I eat keeps me more healthy. I like to show off all the good choices, and when I'm thinking of eating rubbish I think what would the wlf people think?

Haha accountability from around the world!

B weetbix w milk and sugar , coffee
L ham sandwich (whole grain bread) w salad, rockmelon

Hey Anna
This WLF gal thinks U R the best - :hat:
& thx for reminding me- I've got some cottage cheese in my fridge- lol
,,,, there's my lunch for tomorrow all planned- thx!

You are having cottage cheese & pesto! That's an interesting combo! Tomato or basil pesto or...?
I love tomato pesto on fresh bread - yumyum - I haven't had it for a long time now.. (over a year at least)

I had to look up what rockmelon was. Then I was like...Oooooo....cantaloupe!! haha! I love hearing all the different names for stuff. Anyways... great job on the exercise! :)

I think I like rockmelon better. It's also a good description of it (melon that looks like a rock).

Besides when you use words like 'capsicum' and 'rockmelon', it sounds like you're eating so much more exotic than when you say 'red peppers' and 'cantaloupe.'

Anna, keep up the steady dropping a pound a week, that's a very good pace.

Another good day for me.

I bought a new bra today, and I'm down a size! Yay, so I've def lost fat off my back which is cool. I also tried on jeans that are down a size and they fitted, but still a bit tight in the waist band. I didn't buy any cause I can make do with what I've got at the moment.

I did a 3km dog walk this morning and then tonight I went for a 6km walk with 3x4 min intervals of jogging. I've twice done my 6km in under an hour this week! Go me!

B weetbix w milk and sugar, coffee
L kebab w pita bread
S yogurt, rice crackers and cottage cheese
D corned beef w mashed potato, broccoli, mushrooms
Herbal tea

Hey Anna - congrat's on fitting into smaller clothes... u are cruising... fit of clothes is a great non-scale measure of loss...

Great work on the 3k dog-walk & 6k jog-walk... U are burning so many cal's - U R gonna beat-me this week for sure...

& I do agree with you - slower-loss, your body adjusts better.. more likely to stay-off for good...

Oh Anna - what a fab feeling to lose back fat - those are my pet hate!!! I can't wait to look in the mirror and have a smooth back. So I can imagine how awesome that smaller bra felt - I can't wait for my turn!

6km under an hour? Whoooohoooooo!!!! Great stuff!

I worked hard today, hired a log splitter, and split a lot of logs! We had some trees blow down in a bit wind, and I've been helping hubby tidy them up. He's ringed them up with the chainsaw, and now they need splitting. I'm tired!

I was at a new low on the scales today 93 kilos! Which is 9 kilos lost since I got back from my trip to America in November. Yay me!

B weetbix w milk and sugar and coffee
