My fresh start

Well I had a lovely time in the high country painting.

We were at Mt Potts Station near Mt Sunday for any Lord of the Rings fans. Beautiful landscape, but the wind was strong and hot and drove me crazy after a few days. I think we are getting the same winds that are fanning the bush fires in Aussie.

The eating was ok. I probably ate maintainance each day, but there weren't any extras, and I didn't take any snacks, so apart from a couple of g'n't's at the end of each day, I did pretty well on the whole. My weight this morning was 97.5 so I'm pretty happy with that.

I've decided to challenge myself to 12 good days in a row. That'll take me through to Monday week.

rules for a 'good day'
1- 800 - 1000 cal deficit for the day
2- no-carb meal in the evening and no eating after that meal

I also want to add HIIT back into my exercise , and at least 2 days a week do an intermittant fast (ie exercise in the morning and no food til lunch time)

I'll check in later...want to check out what everyone else is up to.

Nice work in here Anna! Salmon sushi is a favorite of mine as well.

Tasha: High Intensity Interval Training

B 2weetbix milk sugar coffee
L salmon avocado sushi
S grapes 3 pineapple lumps
D 2 Nuremberg sausages, rice, salad

Tomorrow is planned, food prepared, gym bag packed.

Exercise short walk with hubby.

Cal deficit 1000cals!

Hey Anna - good work on the healthy-eats & exercise.- walk with company is much more fun than alone with ipod/tunes etc. ....but either works for weight loss.!

Your painting workshop in "lord rings land" sounds neat ...hubby & I are re-watching the 3 first movies last while...as we're thinking to go see the Hobit - the landscape is just amazing.

Keep up the good work gal - your weights-trend is looking in the right direction.

cheers, Maryann

I had a sort of win today, because of the nature of my job... Shift work. I often end my work week in sleep debt, and with a really early start. I had to get up at 4:45am today, and I find it hard to exercise and hard not to over eat. Today I did things differently where I had a banana and some cashews when I first got to work at 5:45 am, and then had a proper breakfast at about 9:30. It meant I got home with enough energy to go for a walk! Yay for me.

It's been a stinking hot day, and I've got a headache, but I'm feeling good about the diet.

B cashews and banana and coffee
B eggs and 1 toast
L 2 toast and salmon
D salad mashed potato and mince patty
S cold milk w milo

Exercise a walk to the shops and back with my mr honey.

Hey Anna - great work on the kg gone ! keep it rolling.

your calorie-crunching/ gardening-exercise is working - I like your plan of no-carb suppers(am gonna try it too)
