soundslike ya had fun- yay for you!!

Hello! We have a couple of Neena and Veena DVDs. You should check out Dolphina's Introduction to Bellydance. Lots of fun and great ensembles! :) By the weekend I'm going to try to find the time to post some recipes for you. Only easy ones 'cause I'm not a chef!! :)

Wow, you have been busy!! Congrats on resisting all that temptation .... I'm not sure I would have been that strong, especially after you decided you were going to have a naughty day. Keep up the top job :)

I'm glad you had such a good time! I know what you mean about work... I wake up every morning wishing I didn't have to go (I even go so far as to shower and get dressed and then come back to bed- lol) Oh well- I guess we just have to keep our chins up and keep going!

Pineola - with all that willpower and strength you have - just tell Donna that you do not want to hear negativity that it drains you and her as well - you would be very happy (sic) to hear anything positive and motivating that she has to share. Do not let these people drain you! Thanks for checking in....NAT

awwwh. I know the feeling when I'm stuck with someone who just keeps yapping away. But please restrain from throwing coffee at the woman. ^__^; As I've learned, that can be bad. ;) :p ;) .

and all that food sounds yummy. good for you for controlling it! I would have went mad. heh.

Oh negative people are such a drain at work. I remember a teacher once complained to the principal that "the seventh grade teachers are having too much fun", fortunately the principal doesn't believe the misery equals hard work. Don't let that negativity get you down.

Thanks everyone. I think the whole Donna thing is going to come to a head, but it is going to get ugly. Apparently two of the guys in my office called up their boss and told her Donna was driving them crazy. She conference in my boss who in turn called me and asked me to call her when I could talk.

I basically told her the woman had emotional problems and was full of character disorders that were not our problem, but everyone's work was being affected by her. My boss told me that once when she confronted her about some issues she starting crying and telling her about all this abuse she had from her ex husband. Now....keep in mind she has not been married to this guy for over 15 years and is now supposedly married to this great guy. This is the kind of excuse maker she is. Get a grip! Go to the friggin psychiatrist....don't make up excuses for your behavior at work. Wow, am I harsh or what?

Ok, down to food related issues. THE CHALLENGE IS STARING! Good Luck to everyone. I did poorly today nutrition wise, but the calories were good. I skipped breakfast...a big No No, but I was running late for a class and they usually have fruit there, but not today. For lunch I had a Spicy Tuna Roll and a Caterpillar Roll with Unagi. Very yummy! For dinner I took my leftover Kung Pao and added a bunch of cabbage to it and ate it in a Habanera Tortilla. Sort of Mu Shu style. I also got a little square of chocolate in. As you can see....not enough fruit or veggies. I am at about 1230 today, but it is really hot again and I don't feel like eating anymore. OK.....I have to stop right there and acknowledge how odd it feels to say that. :)

Anyway...tomorrow I am going to concentrate on good quality food.

Hi Pineola!

I agree with you about that woman... Some people always play the pity card!! But you have the right attitude- People sometimes just need to get over things. I don't mean to sound rude. But you are totaly right! And sound very strong... Go you!

And... There's a new challenge?! Man, I am so out of things! *goes to check out challenge*

-N-

Another good day Pineola. Nutrition is on the whole important, but calories are the bottom line, and you get good nutrition the rest of the time so don't sweat it ;) And that dinner sounds delicious!! And cabbage is very nutritious, so maybe you did okay after all .... ;)

Not to make light of a person who has survived spousal abuse but there is a point at which you have to stop living in and blaming the past for your present behaviour. I don't buy it either. It sounds like she is grasping at straws becasue this no doubt happens to her at every job she has been at. Why would someone who was abused in turn be so abusive? Isn't that kinda hipocritical? At any rate I hope this all blows over soon.

Well as you say today a new challenge starts! Best of luck to you on this challenge!

Donna--we will call her.....well, because that is her name

I thought this was the funniest thing I had read all day and then along came this....

You want I should make you a voodoo doll?

My sisters are so DAMN COOL!!!!!!

Pineola, hope you have a great Friday and an even better weekend. We are going to have a GREAT challenge. And I love that we are on a team together!!!!

Hugs!!!!

Woo-hoo it's day one of our second challenge.....and it's ON!!!!! I expect my Pineola is going to be kicking butt this weekend...cause you are one Saucy sister!

Hope your boss realizes that Doanna is negatively effecting everyones work and gets rid of her or moves her to another department. Until then, I wish you the best of luck dealing with her non-sense.

Are you sure Donna is her real name. She sounds like this lady I used to work with......

Anyways, Wooohooo!!!
We're going to kick butt!!
Go Saucy Sister!!

Hey there- I hope day 1 of the challenge is going great for you, and I hope that Donna called in sick today. Ha ha ;) (and my haircut.. it's not a bob, it's more shoulder length- but the lady who cut my hair managed to give it shape and volume- something it's never really had before. Who knew?)

You guys are the greatest!

Mal....please oh, please make me a voo doo doll!!!

I bet your hair is really cute, Val. I need a new doo so bad. I just don't want to dye it. I died it from 1982 to 1999. I started getting gray hair in fifth grade. I started dying in the 80's---just because it was the 80's, not because of the gray. After that I just dyed it to maintain. Once I stopped I really liked the freedom of not having to having to do it, but I haven't had a good cut in years. I was finding that nobody could cut my hair right. I could pay 100.00 or 12.00 and no matter what it was all the same. My hair is curly, but not curly enough to just be wild and curly without looking a mess, but curly enough that it looks like I never brush it. I always wear it up at work, but I would like some variety. Now that I am older, the gray is staring to bother me. I keep thinking I look fairly young, but the gray probably makes me look older than need be. Bottom line. I need a doo!

Nightporter!! You are sooo out of the loop. Go see if Mal will let you join the challenge. It is still Friday.
