Alright already! I had very little time the last couple of days to catch up on the forum and I thought it more interesting to see what everyone else was doing.
Yesterday was the big fudge eating day. Man did I get a sugar rush after being so good for so long. It was yummy! I had one that was dark chocolate with caramel and pecans in it. I did really well at the beach...we brought cucumber slices, grapes, strawberries and spinach dip w/crackers for lunch. I totally set this day aside to go over 1700 cals knowing the rest of the week I would have to stay around 1500. I actually would have been under 1700 had we not gone out for Chinese afterwards.
I ate a bit too much Kung Pao, but it was really good. I brought 1/2 home for another time, but really could have gotten 3 meals out of it. I did so good going in and out of shops that have testers of everything. I did test some salsa and basting sauces on some wheat crackers and had one of those mini-plastic spoon sized bites of gelato---you know the kind they give you the taste test in. I totally ignored all the chips and breads and caramel corn. The caramel corn was very difficult for me. I can't tell you how much I love caramel corn. Stick a bowl of it out there for free and me keeping my hands out of it is a miracle.
I bought this Pumpkin Habanera basting sauce. Sounds weird, doesn't it? It was so good! Had a great day with 3 of my nieces that I don't get to spend much time with. Way to much sun exposure especially on my back.
I did about 20 mins of water aerobics in Lake Michigan which is colder than hell and walked around for about 3 hours so I think I burned up a few of those fudge and Kung Pao calories.
Today felt very boring compared to what I ate yesterday. Back to Luna Bar, Banana, salad, chicken.....Where's my Kung Pao!!! It's sitting in the fridge, but I'm not going to eat it.
Today I am feeling very lumpy. I did not go to the gym so I am going to have to dance around the house before I go to bed or do the Veena & Neena Bellydance DVD. My job really depresses me. Donna--we will call her.....well, because that is her name....can't shut up. I was not there 4 mins and she had told me 500 things. I DON'T WANT TO HEAR 500 THINGS AT 8:30 IN THE MORNING!!!!!! I WANT MY QUIET TIME AT MY DESK WITH MY COFFEE!! GET OUT OF MY OFFICE!!! Thank goodness tomorrow I have to go to a class instead of going to work!
OK, I'm done. All in all...things are fab. I'm going to miss my niece when she goes back to GA. Maybe I'll move to Atlanta. A little to hot for me, but warmer winters and no DONNA!!!
Thanks for stopping by. I'm checking on ya'll now.
