Hi mrskt20, don't worry about your "rant", your just telling us how you feel and I'm sure everyone who reads it will just think your preaching to the choir because we all feel frustrated at different times during thia process. I think there can be soooo many different things that can effect our weight, especially stress! So while your waiting to see your doctor, try and stay positive and keep going, keep working hard everyday because that has been paying off! Even if it isn't as quickly as you wanted, don't be bothered by that because you are 12 pounds lighter then you were just 3 months ago!!! Thats nothing to sneeze at! 12 pounds is a great accomplishment! It is so easy to pack on the weight and so hard to get rid of it but it makes me realize that if we all didn't start this journey we would still be gaining because of all of our bad food choices and lack of excercise. All of this is a learning process and lifesyle change. I am so proud of you. Just stay positive and keep pushing forward!

I wanted to thank you for reading my diary and at the same time I caught up with yours. I know how hard it is to fit in workouts with kids, I also have a 1 yrs old mine is a boy and a 3year old girl that is a hand full so I can only imagine 3. Good job workout at lunch!!!! I noticed your wedding anniversary is on May 28, Mine is on May 27!!!!!! These diaries are made for ranting just let it out! I will be cheering you on from now on, so keep up the amazing work you are doing!:hurray:
 
Thanks Verobc and Janvier, for the encouraging words. I need all the encouragement I can get. It's been a week since my last post bc I have had so much going on. My mama had a scheduled hernia surgery on the 10th and my daughter fell and fractured her leg the same day. So the end of last week was crazy for me. This week started off ok. I have been doing a lot of cooking and cleaning for 2 houses. My mom really wanted to stay at her house so I had to do my duties at home and at her house. I haven't exercised since I've been off work (3/10) and now I have to wait 3 more days before I can exercise because of a procedure I had done on Tues. I really want to focus on my diet this week. I got on the scale this morning to see that I am back down to 186. I guess those 6oz decided to stop tormenting me. I am looking forward to end this week out as healthy as possible. Please God let me see 185 this week......... I need to move forward. I am welling to do the work to get there!
 
Wow, it sounds like you did have an insane week! Don't worry too much about what the scale says right now, stress can cause you to hold on to weight or retain water. It's very possible that you'll have a "woosh" next week when things calm down. Hang in there! :hug2:

Its good to hear from you again! What a busy week for you! Your mom you were prepared for, but you poor daughter, is she doing okay? Geeze, how stressful. All of that cleaning must of burned off that 6oz, so that is atleast a plus! Don't worry about not excersicing, eating is the biggest part, so keep eating well and you'll see changes, and as soon as you can you'll jump back on the weight loss band wagon and kick some butt. I think that fact that you can still focus on your weight-loss goals throughout all of the stess shows just how commited and ready you are to reach your goals so I am so proud of you and have no doubts that you will get there! Keep doing what your doing because your doing great! And thanks for your constant support, you always have great advice and I always appreciate it!

Hello Diary! It's been almost a week since my last post and I miss being here. Well I have pretty much been sick for the last week. Taking meds and feeling nauseous all the time. Not eating right but I haven't been able to eat much at all. pretzels and water have been my friends for the last couple of days. I have to have surgery on 3/29 and my Dr. says this will clear up most of my issues, so I'm ready to get this show on the raod. I can't wait to have energy again. I am ready to get back on a good eating and exercise schedule. I am still planning to meet my May 28 goal of 170. I weighed my self this morning and I am down to 184.8. I am excited about lossing a pound but I want to make sure it's not just from being sick. I weighed 188 on the Dr. scale yesterday and that was with my shoes and purse on so I'm not going by that number at all...... But any who, I'm glad to be back and I am still planning researching different ideas so after my surgery I can jump back into the weight loss game. I have 14lbs to loss by 5/28 so I'm ready to get this train moving.....chooo chooo......
 
Sorry you've been so sick lately! Hopefully the surgery goes really well and will help with your symptoms!
 
Take the time to recover well from your surgery and then get back into it!!!

I'm back! My surgery went well. I went through alot of painful days but I am recovering well. My Dr. said that I can start back exercising (just walking no more than 20-30 mins)so I am ready to jump back in and get back on track. I weighed my self this morning and I am at 188. I'm not mad about that because I have been on steroids for a couple of weeks and I always gain about 10lbs but I only gained 3. I'm gonna go now, just wanted to let everyone know I am back and ready to this thing started again. Thanks Lisa and Jess for checking on me. I will catch up on your dairies when I get to work tomorrow.
 
My day today hasn't been that bad. I haven't been grocery shopping so my food list will sound horrible or at least not like what I eat on a regular work day. But here goooes.......

Glad to hear the sugery went well and that you are recovering. Give yourself time to fully recover, weight loss can wait. No need to cause damage.
 
Thanks Mizzie, you are right. My dr. told me I could walk for 20-30 mins a couple times of week if I wanted to, so that whats I did today. I walked for 20 mins and it felt good to get my body moving again. I even feel a little soreness just from that. I am really just trying to focus on my diet for the next couple of weeks. My physical activity can wait until I'm better.
So as you can see my day is really going well. I'm eating well today and I got to walk for 20 mins. I am really ready to be well but I want to heal properly so I'm not going to rush it.

Its so good to have you back! I am happy to hear that your doing well and and taking some time to heal. I know exactly how you feel about wanting to get moving again, I felt like that after my surgery too, but I agree with Lisa and Mizzie, take time to heal and take it slow so you can have a speedy recovery and then really get to work once your healed. I agree with you that you should take this time to focus on your eating and your walking is great to get your body used to movement again, your doing great so far! Take care of yourself!
 
Ok, I've been MIA again. I have been sick again and have had a lot of work to catch up on. My eating has been ok but not anything to brag about. 3 more weeks until my 6 weeks are up and I can't wait. My money is funny so I'm trying very hard to stick to my meal plan. I'm not eating alot at all because my meds keep me feeling nauseous. I am just ready to be healthy again and I am sure the rest will follow. I'm not even sure how much I weigh.
