How has your recovery been going? I'm glad to hear that you are happy about your first WW meeting and happy that you are not letting that start number get to you, from here on out that weight will be falling off. Your meals sound great and its great that you and your mom are starting to get some daily movement in. I know your going to have sucess. Keep up the good work!

Everything is going smooth with my recovery. I no longer have any pain. I am still very excited about using the WW system. Things have been going pretty good lately. I haven't had any crazy cravings and the good thing about WW is if I do have cravings I can find a way to work it into my point system if I need to. And it is so great to be moving again. I don't even care about the soreness that I have from my workout last night. I can't wait to exercise when I get home today. My motivation is at a 10 and I hope I can keep it there. Thanks so much for checking on me.
 
Ok, I had a weak moment. My job bought doughnut for breakfast and they were from my fav bakery. Sooooo, I had to have one. Well I didn't have a whole one, I cut it in half and gave the othe half to my co-worker. This doughnut cost me 3 points. It was good but not really worth it. I should have ate a banana, that would have filled me up. The doughnut just made me hungry. But it's all ok I have rebound and I had a great lunch. Here's my meal plan for today:
B-cheerios&skim milk 4pts
S-Doughnut 3pts
Lunch-Green beans, Grilled chicken breast and wing-6pts
S-apple 1pt
Dinner- Smart one and a green salad w/ FF salad dressing 8pts
2cups of decaf green tea/ 48oz of water. 0pts
I have a couple of pts left so if I get hungry I can get a apple of a yogart for 1 point.
Yesterday I went walking and took my kids with me. We walked from home to this walking trail thats 1 mile if you walk aorund it once. Well we walked for a hour which was walking to the trail then walking around twice and then we walked back home. I was sooo worn out and the kids were to. But it was very rewarding to get that hour of exercise in. I'm not swapping my activity points bc I want to get the best results. My WW leader said you can get better results if you don't swap your actitivity points. If I need to swap, I can but for now, everything is going ok so no swapping for me.
I'm glad to have this energy and I hope I can continue to keep this up. What I'm I saying????!!!! I know I can keep this up. It's just up to me. I have work to do and now I'm doing it. There's no stopping me. I am committed!!
 
Great Job on the eating and exercising...Looks like WW is working great for you! You will have great results!

Hey Monique, thanks for stopping bye. My motto is positive attitudes bring positive results. So I have to stay positive. We have to believe in ourselves because if we don't no one else will.
 
I got off track yesterday. I didn't do to bad. I had to use 5 of my weekly pts to make up for my snacking. I didn't have time to fix me a snack b4 my sons baseball game so I bought some baked lays. I only wanted to to eat 1 serving but I ate 2 servings instead and I had pizza for dinner. I had thin crust pizza with veggie topping so they were 3pts a slice. I ate 3 slices when I only should have ate 2. I also had a cucumber salad with FF Catalina and apple vinegar so that added 1 pt. I only had 6 pts left after I ate the chips so I really should have cut back on the pizza. But oh well, I worked out for 30 mins yesterday as well. I really wanted to do a hour but I just had to many other things to do (clean my house). I'm a little scared about the weekend. I always blow it on the weekends but I want to do better. Soooooo I will do better. I can do this. It's mind over matter, or mind over food!
Today has started off ok even though I ate pizza for breakfast. that's what happens if you have a whole thin crust izza to your self. But my plan for today looks like this:
B-2 slices of thin crust veggie pizza (bad, I know) 6pts
S-Banana 1.5pts
L-Turkey sub on whole wheat bread with 1 tdsp of reduce fat mayo-4pts
Cucumber salad with vinegar
S-apple-1pt
D-grilled chicken and salad w/ FF Catalina-5
 
How did the weekend go? Did you stick to counting points? How many are you currently allowed? Your menu from the 7th looks great - even the pizza for breakfast wasn't that bad considering the points value! Looks like your really getting the hang of it! What days are your meetings? Keep it up and I look forward to your update from the weekend.

Hey Lisa! I am currently allowed 25pts a day. My weekend was ok. I didn't work out Friday and I went over my points. I went shopping with my mom Friday and my husband asked us to bring him some Krispy Kreme Doughnuts home. Well I just had to eat one and one turned into two. then I looked up the point value and found out they were 5pts each :-( I had already used up all my points for the day so I guess I used 10 of my 35 for the week. I felt bad about the doughnuts so I went walking for a hour Sat. morning. I would have walked longer but I had a couple of friends coming to my house, so I had to hurry back. I didn't go over my points Sat. but I didn't eat healthy either. I had pancakes, bacon and eggs for breakfast (7pts) and two slices of pizza for dinner (12pts) I didn't drink alot of water this weekend. Sunday I had fried chicken (7pts), green beans (1pt), and ice cream (6pts). Sunday I had a migraine headache and stayed in the bed most of the day. It was mother's day so my husband and the kids feed my dinner in bed, LOL! My meetings are on Mondays @6PM. I lose 1.6 this past week. I am very excited about my lose because I know I can do better. This week I wont be eating pizza twice and I won't have fried chicken either. I am trying to get in all eight glasses of water. And i will make sure I exercise 5 times this week.

Today has been a pretty good day. Well it's really been a great day so far. I'm eating well. I have exercised for 45min and I have already drank 32oz of water. As i mented in my earlier post I lose 1.6lbs last week. I slacked some last week and could have done better. But I don't want to have to say that next week so I'm changing a couple of things. Like my breads haven't been as low in calories as possible so I bought WW bread which is 1pt for 2 slices. I am going to measure my salad dressing to make sure I'm not using to much. I am going to work out everyday at lunch time and also try to fit in a evening workout at least 3 times a week. My WW group members had alot of good ideas to help me jump start my weight lose. Yesterdays meeting was so inspiring. 2 people reached their goal weight yesterday. One guy has lost 90 pounds as of yesterday. He stood up and told us how he has been over weight all his life and how he never thought it was possible to lose weight because no one in his family ever has. One of the ladies that reached her goal weight really inspired me. She is a mother of two and talked about how she has been everything to everybody else for the last 5 years and now she was healthy and she did it for her self. She lose 57lbs and she looks great. It took her 9 months to lose her weight. She said that not all her days had been perfect but if she had a bad day she always tried to make the next days as perfect as possible.The other lady who had reached her goal weight was older (maybe early 60). She said she couldn't exercise for the first 5 months and she still lose weight (about 35lbs). She said onces she was able to exercise the weight came off even faster. She lose a total of 73lbs. It took her 1 year to lose the weight. My meeting motivated me so much. I am glad I joined WW. Now enough of that........... My meal plan for today is:
B-Whole wheat bagel, Reduced Fat Cream Cheese 3pt
S-Green Tea Decaf-0pts
L-Turkey sandwich on WW whole wheat bread, lite mayo-4pt
S-Apple-0pts
D-Grilled chicken, Garden salad, FF Catalina dressing-8pts
If I get hungry I will snack on cucumbers and vinger (0pts) or I will have a bagel with cream cheese (3pts). My meal plan for today is about 16-17points which leaves a little room if I want to add something else during dinner. I am happy and I feel good. I hope everyone else is having a great day.
 
Happy Wednesday!!! Yesterday went well. I had a slip-up in my food plan. I had to go to my mom's house and help her with moving some furniture and really stayed there to long. Well my sister was there and gave me some grocery shopping money. So I went to the grocery store. I bought some very low point snacks and other things I needed for the house. I went down the chip isle to buy some baked lays and what did I see..... Ranch Cheeto Mighty Zingers. Those things are the DEVIL.... I bought a bag b/c I haven't been able to find them in weeks. I told my self "You can have a 1/2 cup every now and then and it will be alright" WRONG". I ate like 2 cups before I got home. Which after calculating probably was like 9 points. I felt so guilty about it. So I skipped dinner and drunk a bottle of water and went to bed. SO I didn't go over my points but this is exactly what we were talking about in my WW meeting. I will lose weight b/c I didn't go over my points but I won't get the best results b/c of my food choices. Gotta stop slipping....... I am going to start back telling my self that I rather be skinny then eat that_____. That really use to work for me and it still does. We have doughnuts from my fav bakery again and I said those famous word "I rather be skinny then eat that doughnut" and went right to the refrig and got my WW yogurt (1pt instead of 5). I am gonna make this work for me, I have to! My meal plan for today:
B-Bagel & FF Cream cheese 3pts
S-Banana, Yogurt- 2pts
L-Smart One 6pts, green salad 0pts, FF Catalina 1pt
S-Apple-1pt

Today is going good. I had a weak moment yesterday. I didn't eat bad. I just ate too much. i went over my pts by 2 pts. I am planning for this weekend b/c I don't want to over eat. My plans are to eat well balanced meals and have 0 pt snacks or snacks that are only 1pt. I also plan to go walking/jogging for an hour on Sat. morning. I don't plan to work out Sunday but if I have some free time maybe I can get it in. I have worked out 4 times this week at lunch and twice in the evening. I am still motivated and I believe that this is my time to lose weight for life. I have did so much yo-yo dieting that I just don't want to go back to living that way. I know my weight lose is going to be slow but I have excepted that thats the best way to lose it. It should take me 10-12 months to lose 50lbs. I have to keep this in mind.
My meal plan for today is:
B-whole wheat bagal and FF cream cheese (3pts
S-Banana (2pts)
L-Turkey breast sub(6pts) Sun chips (3pts)
S-FF fudge bar (1pt), 15 baked lays (1pt)
D- smart One, salad, FF dresing (7pts)
Total of 23 points (cutting out 2 points for yesterday)
 
The plan for the weekend looked good - how'd you make out? I agree I'm sick of yo-yo dieting and think I can keep up with this program for life - sometimes I go a week without tracking and it usually shows at my weigh-in so I just have to keep tracking! I know it might seem like a long time to lose the weight but by taking it one day at a time it goes by so fast! If you feel yourself falling off track just remember where you want to be in 10 months time and how if you slip up for a week it's just going to take a week longer to get there! A few slip ups here and there are going to happen but I feel they make us stronger and we always learn something from them. Just keep it up and your going to do great!!

This weekend didn't go that bad. But it didn't go as planned either. Sat, woke up and cooked pancakes and eggs for the family. I ate to small pancakes with lite syrup and an egg. I ate a turkey sandwich on wheat for lunch and a chicken negget kids meal from Wendy's for dinner. well, thats where I should have stopped but after my hubby's B-ball game we went to Chilis to eat and I didn't order any food but they had 2.99 margarita's so I had to have one....and my husband order my favorite appertizer spinach and articoke dip so I ate 10 chips dipped. And I ate some of my daughter's kids meal (chicken strips and fries) bc I knew she wouldn't eat it all. All that cost me about 10 pts when I only had a bout 4 to spare. So I decided to take a couple of points off of Sunday and I did! I only ate a late lunch early dinner. Now, It was alot of food but I managed not to eat again that day so I feel pretty good about that. I didn't work out Sat but I did do several hours of house and yard work. Sunday I did one of my work out videos for 40 mins.

Today is going very well! I have stuck to the plan without any problems and I have already worked out for 40mins. I hope I can get an afternoon walk in but it may rain so I may need to find a indoor activity to do. I have my a WW meeting. I am so excited to see how much I have lose. I am also a little scared but we will see. My meal plan for today:

Your meals sound exactly like what I like to eat! Our points are distributed pretty close to the same as well. I just started counting WW points a few weeks ago... I like it much more than counting calories! That spinach and artichoke dip sounds yummy!!! *drools* lol Keep up the good work!
