MrsKT's Weight Loss Journey

I'm back! I took a short vacation to Gatlinburg TN. I really enjoyed my time with my husband and my BFs from college. Now it's time to get back on track. I have been sick off and on so my weight has really been up and down. I'm not sure what my weight is now but I will get on the scale Friday. I plan to eat my usual for calorie meals and exercise every day during my lunch hour. I am also going to start back logging my food intake to make sure I'm not going over my calories. Today is going great and I can't wait to work out. This is my meal plan for today:
B-Fiber graham cereal and low fat milk
L-Lean Cuisine or turkey sandwich
Snack- fat free popcorn
D- baked chicken and mixed veggies.
Workout- 40minutes glider
 
It's good to hear that you are back on track. It's amazing how fast we can fall out of the routine if we let ourselves get away with it. Good luck on your weigh in on Friday!
 
I am glad your back, I was looking for your diary yesterday to make sure you were okay...but couldn't find it for some reason. I am sorry to hear youa re still sick off and on but glad to hear that you are ready to start workout hard towards your goal again. We can do this for sure. Your meal plan looked great for today! Keep up the great work and thanks for your post on my dairy, you always life my spirits!
 
Ok today didn't start off the way I planned it. I had an egg Mcmuffin for breakfast which is like 370 calories and 19grams of fat so I think I'm gonna skip lunch or at least have a very lite lunch. I have only had like 30oz of water and Iusually had like a liter by now. but I am on my way to work out for lunch. Yesterday pretty much went as planned. I didnt get to work out as long as planned yesterday. I had to cut it short by a couple of minutes. Maybe I can make it up today if nothing happens. I am still looking for ways to get more time in for exercising. I need to start back toning at night while watching TV. I miss that! Well gotta run. Be back later......
 
Ohhh yeah, it seems like we alllll need extra time to fit in those workouts. Some is better than none, remember that :) You'll eventually get an actual schedule worked out, but in the meantime, you're doing great. Keep it up :)
 
I thought I posted something in my diary yesterday but any who.... I can't stay long just wanted to post my weight from my weigh in this morning and its (drum roll please)........ 186.5 I am extremely happy with this because i have had a hard time exercising and eating with being sick and TOM just left, which is funny because he decided to visit me after not showing his ugly face in 6 months. So I am excited. I will come back so time today and post my plans for the weekend. Good luck to everyone today!

Thanks Janvier! I am happy about my progress but now i have to keep it moving. I didn't work out yesterday but I am on my way to work out now for lunch. I had 1 pancake and turkey bacon for breakfast and grapes for a snack. I am not sure what I am going to have for lunch or dinner which is not good. Planning always works better for me when it comes to food. I am going to work out for 40mins. I hope to get 40mins in every day for the rest of this week. I reallllllllyyyy need to go to the grocery store. I went out of town this weekend and my food choices weren't the best. I have had a hard time logging in because I've been so busy at work but I will try to write some more when I get back from lunch. I hope everyone has a great day.
 
Ok, bad news, I didn't get to work out during lunch. I had to run aarons. I am not going to be able to work out tonight because i have to clean my house. I haven't unpacked from 2 weeks ago and my house is just a mess and I cant take it any more. I also have to go grocery shopping. I had a good lunch so I am happy about that. I ate a lean cuisine and I will make turkey tacos for dinner. So I will end the day with good eating. I hope I burn enough calories doing house work today. I have to get things together this week or I am going to mess up my progress. I need to work out 5 days this week and stick to 1500 calories or less a day. I can do it! I will do it! I am ready! My mission starts as soon as I get off work...... I am going to shop, cook and clean. That's my plan for this afternoon.
 
Today has been a pretty good day. I exercised for 42min. I didn't get to eat breakfast and my husband bought me chicken nuggets instead of a salad for lunch but that's ok I'm gonna keep on moving. I will check back in later to log the rest of my day!

I find I'm in a better mind set when my house is cleaned and the fridge is stocked with healthy foods too. Once it's all done then it's time for you and it's so much more enjoyable because you aren't constantly thinking how messy your house is! I think it's a good work out too! Better than sitting and watching tv!
I'm sure you burned enough calories during your work out to have those nuggets!
 
Ok, got a little catching up to do. My last 2 days have been pretty good. I have ate good and exercised. I got on the scale and guess what........ (drum roll) loss another pound. That makes 185.3 I am so excited. I can't believe this. I am so glad the weight is coming off. I remember when I was exericising day and night and could only loss about 1/2 a lb a week. So let's just keep things moving. I want to pick up the pase and hopefully get to lossing about 2lbs a week.

Thanks everyone. I am really looking to continue my sucess. My day has been going ok. I am a little upset because i left my work out clothes home this morning during my rush to work so that means I won't get to work out during lunch. I will try my best to get it in after work but that is always a big struggle for me. But I will try very hard to find time some where this afternoon. My food for today has been: my usual breakfast, lean cuisine and green salad for lunch and I'm not sure about dinner. I really hope I can get a work out in today because I missed yesterday. My weekend was ok. I was in alot of pain because of a kidney condition I have that has decided to show it's ugly face but I am on my meds again and they are working well. My dr said it's ok to work out as long as I don't over do it. So I could complain more but I'm gonna leave it at that. I am very motivated. I would really like to see the 170s soon. My anniversary is coming up in May and I think it's time to set a new weight goal. Now I can't stop laughing while I'm typing this becasue even though I am lossing, I never reach my weight goals by the date I set out to do so. So maybe this time I will. So can we say 170 by May 28th? Well let's break it down....... That's 15lbs in like 14 weeks. Now thats do-able. That's a very realistic goal and I am going to do it!!!!!! Better yet I may even go a little lower but my goal is going to be 170. WOW, yall I'm excited! let's get this show on the road. Maybe since I don't have time to do cardio during lunch I can just do my 10 minute video. That's exactly what I will do! Chat with ya later.
 
Heyyyyy, feeel like I've been gone for a long time. Well let's catch up. I stop exercising for a little while. I have been having some kidney issues. My Dr. thought I should take a week off. So I did (last week). I feel better now. I am still taking like 3 meds a day but oh well, we do what we have to do.
I got on the scale Sunday (2/14) and it showed a 2lb gain :-(. I wasn't happy with that at all since I have really been trying to eat better since I haven't been working out. But oh well. Time to get back on the horse and ride out.
I started back working out yesterday and it felt great (no back pain). I worked out for 43min and I stayed within my calorie range. I am back on steroids (I hate those things) for like another week and they have truely increased my appetite so I am very proud of my self for staying within my calorie range yesterday.
I am really going to push toward my new goal. I really would like to look hot for my anniversity. So 170s here I come

Good Monday! I am very excited this week. I am ready to loss weight. I have a great plan. And planning is the key to success. I have packed most of my meals for the week and planned my dinners. I plan to work out 40min every day during lunch and try my hardest to get in strength training in the afternoons. I have new 10 min work out videos that I think will be great for short afternoon work outs. I feel like I have gained a little weight but I'm not going to get stressed out. I will do a weigh in on Friday and go from there. I am going to try my hardest to check in everyday and record my calories. I am going to reach my goal and I have 13 weeks to do it. So good luck to every one this week. I will write a list of foods I plan to eat this week below:

B-Special K 1 1/2 cup, 1%milk

Hi Mrskt20,

You sound so prepared for this week! Good for you! Being prepared with food always makes it easier to stick to your meal plan, its so much better then shuffling through the fridge and cupboards trying to figure out what to have because it often ends up being the wrong thing to have. I think your going to do really great this week! What are your new 10 minute dvds called? Let me know if you like them. I want to get the slim in 6 workout dvds. Anyway hun, your off to a great start this week! 13 weeks is very doable with your positive attitude and great meal and workout plan!
 
I need to start pre-packing lunches too! I work in a friggin grocery store, and you'd THINK I could make the healthiest choices while there, but NOOO. I manage to always sneak in something bad, lol. horrible. I'm gonna start trying* to cook; maybe do some slow cooker recipes- stuff that can be made in bulk for fairly cheap, and can be stored and reheated easily. There's gotta be a better way than eating a damn donut every day, lol!
Glad you made it back to the gym with NO pain! Let the weight loss resume!
