Mrs Shadow's Diary

Hi Mizzie, lovely to see you back again!

Groan. I was really silly last night. The day had started off well, and then we went out to dinner... I hadn’t eaten much during the day to “save up†and it turns out that that was a bad idea. A very bad idea. Because I was so bloody hungry by the time we got to the restaurant that I pretty much ate everything in sight.

But that was yesterday, and today is a new day and all that.

I am going to tweak my plan again. Keeping my protein low hasn’t really worked because I suspect it may be the reason I have been so damned hungry lately. That and the steroids of course. But having plenty of protein does help keep the hunger at bay, so I am no longer trying to keep it at 60ish. I’m not going to try to have extra either, just not trying to reduce it. The carbs now – them I am trying to keep low.

Oh, and I’m all but giving up coffee. I don’t enjoy it without cream, and the cream is doing bad things to my tummy, so I’m sticking to tea from now on. With milk and half a Splenda tablet.

Hey, we all need a cheat meal now and again. As you said, today is a new day and you just keep at it. One meal isn't going to derail your whole weight loss, so just put it behind you. Bet you enjoyed it, sounds super yummy!

AWhere are you? Hope everythings okay, and you are still doing well with the diet.

Sorry I haven't commented on your diary in ages, I've been really off track myself.

But we can do this :)

Hi everyone. It has been a ridiculously long time since I was here, but I am now back. I've had some rather annoying health issues that have been a problem, but I seem to be finally recovering. I have lost just 4.5 kilos since I was here last, but hey, that's better than gaining, right?

I'll be back later to post today's food and visit some other journals.
