I'm back, that's where I am. :D

Thank you so much for the visits, DM, Sweat Daily (what a great name!) and Rainbow.

Things weren't too good with me for a while there, what with the back going on strike, and my belly also misbehaving again, but I seem to back on track now. I did go off plan for a bit, but again I am back now. And even losing more weight! This morning I am down to 90.0 kilos, or 198 pounds, thus well and truly in Onderland. Hooray! It's been a long, long time. Now to get down to 80...
 
I saw my doctor last night for a BP check up. The good news is that the dose of my BP tablets has been cut in half, due entirely to the fact that I have lost 17 kilos. My doctor is very happy with me, and so am I. ;)

We (hubby still has to take me, because I still can’t walk more than a few steps on my own) then called in to the supermarket on the way home, and being a stupid ass I bought a few naughties to celebrate. :D It’s probably completely the wrong approach, but it does seem to keep me on track if I allow myself a few treats now and then. My weight was only up by 200 grams today, so I am definitely right back on track.

My asthma is playing up a bit at present. It tends to do so every winter, but since winter is almost over, I was hoping to have avoided the need for oral steroids. But no, it’s got me again. So it may be a while before the weight drops again. I shall just hope for not too much of a gain. Sigh.

Pretty good day today. The tofuroni is just macaroni cheese, but with chopped firm tofu instead of the macaroni. Blech. I won’t be trying that again! The recipe I read said the tofu tasted very similar to the pasta, but they surely lied. No pasta I ever ate tasted like softish rubber. Live and learn.

Just made it to 20K steps again yesterday. I even thought about doing a baby workout, but my back asked me not to. So I'll think about trying to get back to it next week. For now I'll just keep confusing my cats by plod plod plodding about the house.

Weight: 89.9 A little disappointed to have only lost 100 grams, but hey, I’m out of the nineties! Onwards and downwards!
