Yesterday's things:

Weight: 97.4

Food:
2 coffees w/ cream
Greek yoghurt
tuna, feta and tomato, w/ ranch dressing
mince cooked with spices, and topped with lemon zest, mint and yoghurt

1100 cals, 20 carbs

Steps: 18,038

I have lost 5 kilos (11 pounds) in two weeks! Very pleased with myself indeed. Now to keep it up for the rest of my life...

I was a little bit bad yesterday. I had planned to allow myself one more slice of Sara Lee badness, but well, there were two slices there, and so... I ate 'em both. The moral of the story being Do not buy any more Sara Lee! Hubby can take or leave sweet things, so it was an act of total stupidity to buy the stuff.

I pushed myself to walk a little further in mitigation, and since the scales show I am only up 100 grams today (I feared much worse) I guess I succeeded, more or less.

A good day yesterday. Except for the weather. It's COLD here at the moment. And I don't like the cold!

A reasonable day today. Despite nearly 9 hours sleep last night, I felt tired, and was just dragging myself around. But after a one hour sleep this arvo I felt a lot better, and managed to get in more steps. Didn't really eat enough though. <wags finger at self>

Saturday's doings:

Weight: 97.8 !!! Talk about annoying! I know it's just one of those fluid fluctuations, but it's still frustrating. I'm hoping for a better number tomorrow.

Hiya Véronique, good to see you. And thanks for the congrats.

I think I must be going through the "Week Three Stall." I lost 5 kg/11 pounds in the first two weeks, so I guess this is just my body needing to "settle" for a bit after the shock of a decent loss. I may understand this technically, but it is mighty frustrating because I have stayed right on plan all week. Oh well, it must fall off eventually. Maybe the scales will be kinder in the morning.

I am sure that your dedication will pay off in the long run...don`t get discouraged and you will succeed!

When the scaled stoped moving down last year I just ^put up a mental block and now I am almost back up to where I was in Jan of 2010....don`t do like I did!
 
And it did pay off already, Véronique! I had a nice little whoosh this morning, down to 96.2, or 211.6 pounds. Whew.

Slow day yesterday. Not feeling too good all morning, with little energy. Fortunately though, as the day wore on I started to feel better, and by evening I was feeling pretty chirpy. More energy today too, so am hoping to hit 20K steps if I can.

Went for a walk with hubby this afternoon. Doesn't sound too interesting or impressive? Well, it actually is. Because since January I've been suffering from a horrid inner ear thing, and I still can't walk more than a few steps without losing my balance. Mr Shadow has been an absolute blessing throughout, so it was wonderful to take his arm as we walked along the street. Didn't walk more than about 20 minutes, but it was just so pleasant. Most of my "stepping" is done indoors, usually very close to the couch or a comfy chair, so i have something to fall onto. But the thing is, it is gradually clearing up. Yay!

I am glad you inner ear thing is clearing up...my dad at something like that a few years ago, everyone tought he was drunk on christmas cause he couldn`t walk straight...he had to take about 6 wks off work as well (he is a truck driver) It`s very nice to know you have someone you can count on!

I don`t know how you eat for only 1200 cals a day...I have 1450 cal a day alloted in order to loose 1.5 lb per week and I find it hard not to be hungry all the time! I guess my stomach will get used to it!

Keep going you will achieve your goal!
 
Hi Veronique. :waving: I actually aim for 14/1500 cals per day, but most days I am flat out getting the cals that I do. I guess it's that by eating high fat and low carb that I just feel no need to overeat. It's only when I eat sugary stuff that I crave more. And more. And more. ;)

Tuesday's doings:

Weight: 95.9 I was a bit disappointed to not have a lower number until I saw that last Tuesday I was 97.4. So I really am losing!
