Mrs Bear's Diary

Hey Mrs. B! I would ask to be an honorary Brit too, cause I love my romances set in London. (*sigh*) But they are all set in the 1800s, so I guess I'm out! ;) Lol! You are doing a great job on your cycling! :D

Hi Mrs B!
Sounds like you've had a great day. That tickers moving!!
I know 1700 cals is pretty good, it seems to be a great number for you. I can't lose weight on that many though :( I guess I need to get in some more activity so I can!! :D
Keep it up missy your doing great. Just reading your diary makes me get on with what I should be doing. :)

Miss B, I love checking in on your diary! You're cycling and binge free days are *inspirational*

YAAAAAAAAY!!

*does a great big happy dance!*

The snail's mooooooooooved! That's so cool, well done on your bike ride! And then weights as well, that's brilliant! I feel inspired to go to the pool, right now... even at 11PM!!

Another marvellous day for you, missus! I'm going to miss reading your ventures tomorrow, I probably won't be on til late evening. But have a great day tomorrow! *hugs*

Bronsk

Hey MrsBear I see your ticker has moved down a bit well done on that and well done for going 3 days without binging. Hopefully new habits are beginning to set themselves in your mind now.

Though speaking of stuffing faces, my slow worms are going on an eating rampage just now it's very funny. I can't remember if I told you but the one I've had for nearly 8 years Eirinn I taught to take food from my fingers so now when someone comes in the room she thinks she's getting fed. Yesterday I opened her cage (which is on a shelf) to change her water and she launched herself out and fell onto the carpet. The poor mite sat there looking very confused for a while, like she couldn't understand what had happened.

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No it's Eirinn the super slow worm! :D

Excellent job on surpassing 10% of your cycling goal! With your dedication, it would be long until you finish all 980 miles! Keep up the good work- you're inspiring me to hop on my bike a little more often :)

Thanks Hypo, and 1800s or not, your in ;)

Thanks so much! :D I needed that little pick me up today! ;)

I must say, the majority of the romances I've read this summer (and I've read a lot :p ) have been in London, and I just love, love, love them! :D

Keep cycling! You are doing great! :D

So many kind words of encouragement ..... Thank You and BIG ((((HUGS)))) to every one ;)

Alicia, exercise is the key. It ups your metabolism which means that you burn more calories doing your day to day stuff than you would have without the exercise.

M2M, I love having you drop by as well! And I love your new avatar. You are really pretty, and it is so nice to know who I am talking too.

Bronsk, did you go!! :D I hope you have had a great day too, and have steered clear from too much naughtiness (of the eating variety, of course .... you can be as naughty as you like in every other respect ;) :D )

Pineola, Val and Hypo, thanks for the encouragement .... always welcome :)

Crunchie, I do feel like I am getting new habits, and it is really exciting. This is the first diet that I have done where I haven't been waiting for the weekend so I could have my Saturday night binge that I have always allowed myself in the past. And Eirinn sounds hilarious. They don't seem to realise that they are not super lizards!! Buster will try to jump off things ......oh and he runs into tables occasionally and you can hear him whack his nose!! What's that all about :D

Okay, day in the office today and no bike ride (too hot again!!), so not much exercise today, but I was on my feet all day at work.

Foodwise, I had porridge for breakfast, salmon and rice for lunch, and the rest of the day was snacks. I had two sugar free snack bars, peaches, raspberries, banana crisps, apple crisps and 1 mini babybel. Total cals is just under 1800. Not bad for a day, especially when I have had salmon, which always bumps it up quite a bit.

I have also been trying on trousers this morning, as I measured my waist and it was 31 inches, officially a size 16!! (shame about the thighs and bum ;) ) My old work trouser fit comfortably again, as do some size 16 shorts I bought a few summers ago (I'm wearing a pair now). So I'm feeling really good, but I just hope that this all shows on the scales tomorrow. I feel quite optomistic, but at the back of my mind I still worry that I might not have lost. We shall have to 'weight' and see (sorry ... is that joke getting REALLY old now :D )

Toodles peeps

The weight joke *never* gets old :D

I can't say I blame you for not going cycling, if your weather was anything like ours, it's been incredibly warm. Lovely, but very hot.

Yay, go you getting back into your 16 shorts! *who wears short-shorts?* :D And your efforts will show tomorrow, you've been working so hard, I doubt the scales would say you're anything more.

And 4 days binge free, go you! I love seeing it change each day! And I can't wait to see how you've done tomorrow, you've worked really hard and done really fantastically! TGIF, eh!

Have a brilliant evening!

Bronsk

You Are Rocking Girl Keep Up The Awsome Work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the encouragement Redneckwoman!!

And Bronsk, I am excited about tomorrow. However I am a bit apprehensive as my tummy has been troubling me this week. Moving very slowly and I have had cramps and discomfort all day today. I just worry that I am holding onto some extra weight because of that, we shall have to 'weight' and see (just for you that time, lady ;) )

Thank you, my lovely, I feel honoured :D And it will keep my smiling all evening!

I feel the same; excited, still nervous because I don't feel like I've gone down. But we will both have done marvellously. The more we doubt it, the more the scales will doubt us too.

Bronsk

Mrs. B - if the scales don't prove worthy tomorrow - remember what you're wearing today, a size 16 that you couldn't fit into before!! That is so very cool!

I have a pair of size 18's that I keep trying on to see how well they fit me. I can get them on, zip and button them but they're tight around the waist, too tight to wear out comfortable. The day those are *loose* is the way I will really SEE the difference - regardless of what the dratted scale says ;)

Great job on 4 days in a row binge and sugar free!

Cheers Bronsk, positive thinking is the key. I think I can ... I think I can ....

And you're right M2M ... if the scales aren't nice, I shall just ignore them :p but I so want to do the 10 lb challenge this month ....

No, it's *I KNOW I can... I KNOW I can* :)

If the scales are cruel, for some unknown, unjustified reason, step back off, then weigh again. Works best with electric scales, they tend to be the most temprimental, and go for a best of 3.

You have nothing to worry about, you've done fantastic this week. Look at the binge&sugar tickers, and look at the cycle ticker... now try and tell me you haven't done well.

Bronsk

Okay Bronsk, I have been well and truly told :D If the scales aren't nice, it is their fault, not mine. Don't worry about me, I have my excuses ready now.

a. Lethargic bowels
b. Put muscle on
c. Not as hot as last week, so not so dehydrated
d. Scales are mean :D

I'll do fine, loss or no loss!! ;)

Congrats on fitting into old clothes. What a great feeling!!!! You're doing great!!!

Is that FOUR days binge and sugar free? That's more than half a week!!!! Kicking butt!
