Nice Ninja Turtles costume!! I had one of those myself when I was younger. Only, my mom felt like being "Susie Homemaker" that year and MADE my costume - green sweatshirt, green sweatpants, a cardboard shell for the chest, a foil turkey pan shell for the back...SIGH, it was sad, really.

Now, the big question is this - did the mouse commit to character and leave little "mouse droppings" everywhere as you Trunk-or-Treated?

Well, thanks! It feels good to hear it from other people. I've been super down on myself the last few days. I need to look at myself through a different set of eyes and realize how much progress I've made so far. Time to pull out the fatter me photos.

Thankfully, no. Though I found myself laughing about the absurdity of my wife and I struggling to stuff a 1 year old into the cotton carcass of a mouse and how she took the whole affair in stride. A lot of holidays and traditions must seem like something crazy people would do, but kids just go with it and I think that's hilarious in a way.
 
Get out those fat photos! You have done well and need to enjoy that a bit. Also we all gotta get our minds right as we approach the binge season. I have already decided that Im gonna eat one nice Thanksgiving meal and do it up right but just 1 that's it. Im already just waiting for my mother in law to try and make me eat more or eat pie or cake or..fill in the blank

Oh, I've always felt that way about most holiday traditions. I know they have their roots, but if you just look at them on the surface most all of them seem absolutely psychotic.

Christmas - you wake up in the morning and presents magically appear under your tree - presents that were put their by a magical fat man who defies the laws of physics and time by travelling the world in a sled hauled by flying reindeer for God's sake, and he sneaks into your house in the middle of the night while you're sleeping to leave you gifts that he just "knows" you want - and we're just ok with that.

I just switched back to my FitBit yesterday, so my steps are all wonky, but I'll be up there by next week with you.
 
Looking forward to it - I like doing the challenges every week so I can KICK EVERYONE'S ASS. Not competitive in the slightest. Have a good day lovely x
 
Haha, I'm not normally a competitive person but if I stand a chance at all at keeping up with you, I'll give you a run for your money (or maybe a walk, I am still fat after all).
 
Celebrated my little girl's 1st birthday over the weekend. Overindulged just a bit with the saucy meats but I'm looking to get back on it this week.

We had an Alice in Wonderland theme (the only movie she shows interest in) but called it "Ellie in ONEderland".

As usual, my wife did all the hard labor setting up tables and chairs and I did the cooking and drew the flowers... you know, all the stereotypical manly things. :D Anywho, I thought she made a pretty adorable Alice.

Awww what a cutie! I always like to hear people do what they're good at or enjoy instead of being overly worried about what other people think. Shows fortitude. Which happens to be pretty helpful when you're losing weight.
 
I said it before and I will say it again. That little girl is adorable! With those eyes and that smile she would have me wrapped around her little finger!
