Im sorry im rarely around - your so good with checkin up on me but lately I just havent been into much - lol!!!

Ive been hibernating and sleeping lots but I think Ive been needing it!
 
You can totally do the Chicago one.. with the way you train & that its NEXT October, you will be ready to fly past everyone else by then.
You have way too much faith in me... I'll settle for finishing without dying in the given time constraints.

Had my first therapy session with a new therapist, which went well but always seems to open up a can of worms emotionally. Course the boss came up a few times. Felt great to get some of it out, but now I just feel drained.

Funny moment that made me smile... partially into it, she stopped me & had to tell me I am the spitting image of Drew Barrymore. She claimed I must hear it all they time... actually nope. My sister has been told it once or twice, & in high school there were some awkward moments when I got Christina Applegate -it hasn't happened in years, but never Drew Barrymore. I need to check out some more pics.... plus I'm having a great hair day today! :)

I am not a MORNING person either,for me
I get my boost of energy like and hour after dinner and also my
kids are a little calmer by 7:00 lol I tried even walking like 11AM
and my energy was so low and I couldn't find my mojo that is like 6 AM
to me lol.You are doing awesome ,we are so close on each others trails.
Here is my TIP I am sharing with everyon DO NOT make a homemade
applebees blondie they are pure EVIL and I am glad my family devoured
the 1 I made and I got by with only eating 2 slices (not in the same day lol)

I am soooo glad to be off work!!! For two whole days... course I have tons of stuff to do around the house & am determined to get some of this strength training done for the latest challenge. I'm so bad. I know I'm on a limited budget, but I really want to buy myself new running shoes. I have a pair that is strictly for the treadmill & a good pair that I wear outside, which both are still in good shape.... but I am just wanting a new pair. Bad girl... need to get stuff for others instead of me.... :D

I actually just have two more gifts to get.... so I might have to reward myself once I get those done... as long as I have some cash left. It will be motivation....

So we are doing something different this year as a holiday treat for the staff. Last year we did a big cater party & everyone got piss drunk or pissed off about those who were. We had more money in the budget then. This year we went with a count down type thing where each day brings a new surprise for the staff in the break room. Comething to celebrate & honor the staff rather than just anyone who shows up for the party. We will still have a drop in party next Sunday (but no booze - boo! Just gingerbread people eating & decorating & some hot cocoa & music...snooze fest)

Day one was Bagels & cream cheese for everyone. Next day was a gift certificate for a free 30 minute massage (still thanking the lady who donated those!) & yesterday was free soup for lunch, break whatever. I have been really good about just having the one bagel & I was off for the soup day... today.... EGG NOG & COOKIES. dang it.

I was HORRIBLE this weekend... chocolate covered cherries & chips & dip somehow managed to make it into my house. To top it off I for some reason decided to make country style steak & gravy & the gravy tasted so good then next morning on biscuits... ahhhh.... I just feel fatter.

To top it off I work the new company shirt & the IT guy is on my case to take a picture to post on the online store. I have no interest in modeling a tee shirt I barely feel comfortable in especially on a sleepy MONDAY. I might just have to kill him. Guess its my fault for being all teamy & wearing the shirt.

ok time to get up off the floor (which is where I hit after seeing the weight this morning due to the foodfest & Aunt Flo's impending visit) & be good today. I HAVE got to track what I am eating. I think that was the downfall. I took the weekend off & frankly I need the accountability still. I don't even want to know what the calories were.

I WILL resist the cookie/nog room & log in to sparkpeople & see what I have eaten so far today.

One less than perfect meal doesn't = failure... eyes forward missy and keep going :)
 
it wasn't just one meal this weekend... I didn't really seem to care. Did get in some cardio...just didn't get to the strength training.

I refuse to model. Especially with the goofy shots they have up there already! ug... It would be there forever. ( ) just because I am wearing a new color & the long sleeves doesn't mean I am game for doing this insanity.
 
Crap.

So miss smartie pants decided to pack lunch made of leftovers last night & in the sleepy haze of the morning I actually remember to grab it.

I just opened the corning ware container to discover CORN. ALL CORN. I friggin grabbed the wrong dish. gr. one of THOSE days for sure.
 
I ended up going for the back of the desk emergency easy mac. & my stupid environmental good spoon I got from downstairs cafe MELTED as I was trying to stir it up. Had to use two. Weird. good thing I had the emergency ready to rip someone's head off Dr Pepper. I try not to drink it but I do love it so.

So I am fed & have dinner ready to heat up at home... or maybe I will bring it in tomorrow for lunch. ahhh.

I need some treadmill time.

Its just one of those days that makes me VERY thankful there are only 24 hours in a day.

I'm so sick of corn. its one of the two vegetable the boy will eat.. the other - potato. Big exciting meals abound.

Thats one good thing about the fact that he will be in the field til the 20th. I can eat all the veggies I want with out anyone snubbing a nose.

that & there is hope that he can sneak away for a few hours on Friday night, but then he would need to be back Saturday morning at the crack of dawn so its almost not worth it.

Either way. I don't want to see canned corn again til New Years!
 
Well the scale is letting me know that weekends like that are NOT ok. I'm up again. Sucks. I know part of it is just bad timing, but still stinks to see the numbers rise. I'm ready to be well below 180. So even with the fluctuations I stay in the 170s. Ok really I would rather be less than the 170s, but its the goal of the moment.

I know some people who are frozen in at the moment would kick my butt for saying this but I am sick of the heat. Yesterday it was 78 degrees, today we are hitting a "record for the date" 79 degrees... it is December right? I remember when that meant big puffy jackets & all kinds of cool sweaters to wear. This year it hasn't gotten chilly for more than like 3 days. Maybe this weekend they say.

Just doesn't feel right for this time of year.
 
I'd settle for consistent weather... i walked out this morning and had to go back in and grab an umbrella - it was pouring rain... and not the least bit cold.. leather gloves aren't fun in the rain... :)

I'm so with you on the scale thing -I just want to to go below 189 for a few days... the positive I'll take a way from it is I'm really learning where maintenance calories are :D
