Good morning! I know what ya mean about being tempted with those diet pills. I can't recommend anything brought over the counter, but you can take to your doctor about getting some appetite suppressants if you are hungry all the time. My little sister (who was only 14 and already about 275) took some appetite suppressants at one point because all she wanted to do is eat. They were pretty cheap considering the prices of some of the other things doctors might prescribe to help you lose weight, and it worked for her as long as she would take them. I don't know, just a thought. We are here for ya! :D

You girls are the best, thanks so much for all the support! Yesterday was my first 1500 cal day in years, and other than being super cranky at the end of the day (possibly unrelated) and having rotten dreams, it went OK. I feel better today, and I'm much more caffienated. I jumped on my mini trampoline while watching Monty Python for almost an hour last night. I did get a tad dizzy toward the end, but I felt good. I think it was a workout, it was really fun. I stopped in the middle and did 10 min of hard ab work, I liked that on the trampoline, I felt like my lower back was more comfortable while I was getting an even better range of motion than on the floor (not better than on the ball though).

Anyway, I hope all of you fantastic, fabulous and fine friends have a fun filled weekend (had to slip in some alliteration...couldn't help it).

Thanks sweetie, I'm gonna have a good weekend. It's supposed to snow a bunch, but I'm going to work out, and I'm NOT going to overeat.

I'm tackling this head on, I said "no" to girl scouts today, I feel pretty good (those little kids are tough to turn down, they don't understand dieting yet, lucky for them).

I've been telling absolutely everyone I'm dieting though so they can stop me (by force if necessary) from eating fattening things. Bla Bla Bla there are no "bad" foods. What BS. A bad food is one that triggers a binge or ANY food with trans fats. There is NO safe level of trans fats. At least I feel strongly enough about that to stay away from that sort of crap. My one salvation, although I have an easy enough time bingeing on natural no additives peanut butter. Right off the spoon. Gotta ration that stuff. I try not to eat it because sometimes I can't stop. Maybe icecream too, I'll have to watch out. I'm trying to identify my trigger foods, it's high time I did. I'll have to start paying closer attention to what foods are extremely tough for me to stop eating. Those might have to go completely from my diet. I'm not quite strong enough yet to stop myself mid-binge. I'll get a handle on it though.

Anyway, I'm off for the weekend probably. Take care of yourselves!

Hey! Way to turn down those little girls! - no goodnicks.. haha.. I think being able to identify which foods are a problem is a great idea - then you can distance yourself.. remove the temptations completely.. it's all for the best - BREYERS Light Vanilla.. it tastes just as creamy .. if not creamier.. and yet, it's low-fat - well.... "lower" fat. Because everyones needs their treats to keep 'em on track too! You're doing A W E S O M E !
 
Hi & good morning everyone! I lost some pounds (3, I think) I'm down to 211 now, and apparently the 1500 cal thing is going really well. I have been a little cranky, but the weight loss cheered me right up. I even changed my ticker to that cutie pie fish with lipstick! I'm really excited about it! I've been exercising every day, even if it's only 10 minutes at a time I'm getting in at least 30 minutes a day, trying for about an hour a day. I only have 12 pounds to my first goal, which is to get below 200, 16 pounds to my second goal, which is to be at 195 by June 1st, and I forget what the goal is after that. I just decided on it recently. I'll have to go back and read my own diary to find out!

Thank you all so much for the support and advice. It REALLY did work! I've got to pop into some journals for a minute and then I'll collect my thoughts for the day.
