So, here's the no-big-surprise announcement. I did, in fact, still weigh 208 this morning, so I'll have to adjust my ticker when I have a chance (hopefully tonight). So I guess I feel pretty good. I only had time to exercise 20 min. last night, and I'm not sure how much better I can do tonight. I've definitely been keeping the eating under control, and I've been pretty busy (read: not hungry) but I know I need to get more exercise in. I just can't figure out when. I LITERALLY have no spare time. I'm working on it though. I just hope my weight doesn't get stuck soon from the tiny bouts of exercise I'm trying to squeeze in. I'll be able to do more on the weekends, I always can.

It's okay that you can only get in 20 minutes. Every little bit helps! Hopefully some time opens up so you can exercise more everyday. Good luck! And you'll make it to Onederland real soon!

i hear ya on finding time on exercise..most days i do have time, sometimes not.

if there is any way at all that you can do it, please do try:) It makes the difference between losing one pound a week, to losing two in most cases, but I know you know this...just friendly reminder here:D

I screw up all the time on food, but try never to miss at least five days walking a week. It's what works, for sure! Shoot for a goal of just 20-3o min. after dinner if ya can, or something similiar...then watch your weight just fall off!!
 
Good Evening! I have been pretty good today, I started eating a small handful of nuts mid day because I don't have the time for the more "structured" snacks I used to get. It helps me not starve, for sure. I just realized that the only time I ever have to get on here & post is during my meals, so it's funny, but I'm almost always eating while I post. It probably actually makes me eat slower because I take a couple of bites and then type a couple of sentences and so on. It's not sneaky eating, it's all I have time for during the week. I'm a forced multitasker. Right now I'm eating a mushroom broth based soup. Nice & low cal (high volume though with mushrooms & onions, yum). I'm a little low on my non-caloric unsweetened beverages today (including water, but I just can't limit myself to that), I'll work on that a bit. Soup counts though, right?

I do have some big news: I have just cut "high fructose corn syrup" out of my diet. I've been reading a lot about it, and I LONG AGO dropped hydrogenated oils from my diet, but it seems HFCS evades the proper insulin response and nearly always gets stored directly as fat because cells don't know they can use it for energy immediately. That's the last thing I need, so it's gone! Now, there are other reasons to avoid HFCS, one being that it is a chemically modified processed sugar product. Sounds tasty, doesn't it? Anyway, I want to be healthy, not just skinny, and so I'm one by one targeting all the processed crap I consume and eliminating it. April is No HFCS Month" (March was a half-hearted policing of trans fats, since I've basically eliminated them from my diet anyway, I just spent a little extra time reading my food labels & catching the sneaky companies at their little tricks).

So here's to a healthier me in April. I've also pretty much eliminated all of the "white foods" from my diet. They're usually processed too: white bread, white rice, white pasta, etc. (couldn't get rid of the cream sauces though, just a little... moderation). Anyway, gotta go, my soup is gone.
 
Heres to a healthier April :) Starting Sunday I'm MAKING myself get some sorta workout...I've been realllly bad the last few weeks, which is not good. Haven't gained, but haven't lost...Kates right- its totally the difference between gaining and losing :)
 
I use the addy www.3fatchicks.com/weight-tracker to do mine, but I know www.tickerfactory.com has more. It took me awhile to figure it also, but in the loss forum here, click on user cp, then signature. A box that you type in will come up. Configure your clicker and copy and paste the address they give you into the box that had popped up, in the icon where there is like a picture, open that up and paste it there, then finish it. It took me manyyyy tries in ticker factory, but 3 fat chicks . com was easier. Maybe it was me?...veryyyyy possible.
 
Hey MissPrincess! I agree with you on the high fructose corn syrup. I have tried to cut that out when I can. I couldn't believe that almost every kind of bread I looked at in the store on day had that in it. In bread! I finally found one whole grain bread that didn't, so that is the kind I've been eating since. You are doing great! 208! Congratulations! If I'm not careful, you are going to pass me soon! :D
 
Hi & thanks so much! I was not that good this weekend. Friday I didn't eat that well, but then I got some food poisoning and had some projectile vomiting, not fun. So, naturally, I didn't feel like eating anything else (and needless to say didn't exercise either). Maybe my calories weren't so bad (between about 1500 and 2000), but the nutrition was UGLY! Saturday I ate fine but I didn't workout, 1500 cal. Sunday I finally cleaned up my act and worked out for an hour and 15 min, plus I only ate my 1500 cal, so I wasn't too bad, but I'm coming up to the most chaotic 3 weeks in my forseeable future, so I hope I don't screw it up.

I Am Sosorry You Had A Rough Weekend But You Can Do This And Hope Your Feeling Better! You Can Use The Vinegar Thought The Day And I Put More In My Diary About It And It Also Helps You Feel Full Longer Anyways I Am Trying It I Mix It In My Tuna And In Water And Other Stuff! I Had A Result This Morn But Not Sure If It Is From It Or The 64 Oz Of Water Anyways I Will Keep Ya Posted!
 
206?! Wow! You are moving right along. You are going to catch up with this poor little cripple pretty soon. I'll be glad when I can get around better so I can exercise again. Then I will kick your butt! Lol! :p :D
 
Here I am, just try to kick me HH! Betcha can't hit a moving target!!! Anyway, if I catch you, then you'll just get more motivated, and if I don't, I'll get more motivated, so either way we both head out of the 200s happy, right? I'm pretty thrilled anyway, so I can't wait to get down to where you are, I think that's the lowest weight (202) I've ever seen in my entire adult life. I'll be even happier when it's 199... and then 195.

No time to exercise tonight, I'm a mess & I need to go to bed. I knew this would be a bogus week, but I'm going to try to do what I can when I can. That's all I've got!
