Hi Kim... just swinging by to say hello! I finally replied to your comment in my diary.. I've been neglecting my own diary and have been busy reading and commenting on everyone else's? I've got to stop the madness!!! LOL

Glad to hear you are doing well!! Can totally relate to the graduation thing.. Beth's son graduates this year and my son is next year.. then they/we are done!!! YES!!!! :)

Mango Salsa, mmm sounds good, I'm wondering if that's anything like my Black bean dip. I just love them too.!! Thanks Bruce for stopping by, I know what you mean, I spend a lot of time reading and posting on others, that I tend to forget to check mine out. I need to make it a priority. Today I have not eaten much, my normal shredded wheat and 1% milk, then I had Oatmeal for lunch of all things. HAHAH I was craving it. I do not put milk or sugar in it, I like it straight, of course it's the brown sugar packet kind. I use two packets, I think it's 220 calories for both. I've been drinking water, but I'm hungry for somthing not sure what to eat, I have an apple or a Carrot to eat, I think I'll go for the carrot this time. I have not desire to go the gym tonight, but I will force myself. NO GROOVE class tonight. I'll just run on the elliptical I guess. Well, since the 2nd puter is fixed at home, I'll try to get online later this evening and read some more diary's. Everyone have a good night. I'll sure try!

Well I did it, I took Group POWER, I didn't plan on it, nor did I really want to do it, but there was no group groove class tonight, so I was just heading to the gym to do some elliptical running and maybe some bike time. When I walked up to the gym doors, I noticed my girlfriend walking in, I shouted to her and she stopped and waited for me to come in. She said "oh girlfriend, are you going to take power with me tonight"? I was like Ummmmm, I didn't plan on it. But, the guilt kicked in as she did try and do group groove with me any she hated every minute of it, so I caved. I took the damn class and well it sucked, No, NO not the class itself, it really is a good workout class, basically it's weight training with music, YEP you use the weight bar and put on it however much you want and the trainer works areas of your body. Plus at certain times you lay down on the stepper and do weight lifts while on your back, it's pretty cool. But, BORING! I know I need to take it at least once a week, because we all need a little weight lifting, so I will probably take it every Thursday.:eek: When I got home I was starving! I took three eggs and whipped them up, threw them in the pan and sprinkled in some shredded cheese, I then placed it on the plate and covered it in Salsa. I needed some protein and bad! It did the trick, but now I'm sleepy and will be hitting the hay here shortly. I'm currently in the process of downloading a program for my honey, seems like it's only halfway done, uggg might take another 45 minutes. Since we are in the country they only have dial up out here, IT SUCKS BIG WANKERS!!! We had cable before, so this is like going back in time, YEAH about 1998 when I first got internet. LOL LOL :D Oh well mamma always said, take what you can get, or go without. I'll shut up now. :mad: Well, I'm going to read a few diary's and get caught up. I hope tomorrow is a nice Friday, I'm so looking forward to it. YES!! TGIF!
 
LOL. It is so funny how different things appeal to different people. I LOVE weight training. Though, I have to say, I am gaining new respect for cardio recently. I am so jealous of your group groove class. Can I some spend the night and go groove with you? ;)

YES, OH YES Come to OKC and I'll take you ANYTIME!! You would love it, it's such a blast. Your right I'm ALWAYS going to the gym, not that I always want to, half the time I don't, but I want to be thin again more than I don't want to be at the gym, so it motivates me to keep going. Plus, if I go I feel like if I eat a few hundred extra calories for that day, it's okay and I don't get down on myself as much. It's all a mind game, that's all. My friend did tell me last night that I'm slimming down in the mid section, which really made me feel good, we haven't seen eachother really in a few weeks, because she still goes to group centergy and she doesnt care for Groove. I just hope I continue to see the results, that too motivates me to keep going, but I'm sure you know all about that. If you ever come this way, YOU MUST stop by, I have plenty of room at my place. :)

Alright, so I actually got to read up on your diary. That groove class thingy (the dancing one) sounds awesome! I would love to take something like that. I would also like the group one with the weights. I LOVE weight training, much better than cardio. Although I guess it depends on the type of cardio you do.

I really like cooking egg whites and adding salsa to it, sooo much better than using ketcup and so much healthier!
 
Okay, it's late, but I just got home. I went to a friends house after group groove and since she is such a good friend, she stopped and picked me up the best Shiraz, mmmmm I enjoy 2 glasses and some chicken breast that she made in the crock pot. mmmm well actually she made alfredo, with pasta, but I had one bite and said,"no thank you"! And just finished up the half piece of chicken breast that we split, it was so good!! I did pretty well today, I ate good and went to groove, so I can't complain. We had such great girl time, I hated to leave. But, you know good things have to end eventually. Well, I'm going to catch up on some diary's then head to bed. Have a great evening everyone!;)

Thanks Risty!! It was very, very hard for me to turn it away, I'm a CARB O'HOLIC!! Bread and pasta are my worst enemies! But, I know I have to say NO every once in a while, or I'll never reach my goals. DAMN TEMPTATIONS!! I hope you had a good workout!

Well this will be my official post for the day. It's gorgeous outside, and I'm in here wondering what the hell to tackle first. Hmmmm, lets see, I have 2 acers of jungle that need to be mowed. "uuhh, NO" not in the mood to do that. And my hubby brought in a new refridge last night that is currently sitting in my kitchen nook area, I'm wondering where the hell he plans on putting the one that's already in the kitchen and working perfect. He said it's going in the washer/dryer room with the chest freezer,I'm like SAY WHAT??? why???? Well, he thinks we need both, because we are always out of waters and tea and there isn't enough room in the one for several bottles and pitchers and milk, so he thinks we need it. Okay, whatever, you know it just means I'll be cleaning everything out and putting everything back in. A days job for sure!!! I did finally put out the humming bird feeders and already there were two sitting on there lastnight. YEAH!! I'm out of bird seed, so my bird feeders are hanging empty. uggg I hate that!!! I have so much weed pulling to do it isn't funny, and I bought some lavender plants and they are still sitting on the table on the porch, I need to get busy and I really need to clone myself to get something done around here. Oh boy,where is the cabana boy when you need him. Last night at group groove, they drew names for door prizes and mine popped up next to last, so I missed out on the massage, and the smoothies, and ended up with the darn bandanna, did I spell that right?? Oh well who cares right. At least I got something, but that massage would have been ideal!! OH this is funny, I have this huge garden tub right, well by the time you get the sucker filled up with water, it's already getting cold. HAHAHAH What the hell is up with that. Oh the fun parts of living in the country I guess. Well, on that note, I say fairwell for the day and get my big butt moving, lord knows it's going to take me all day to muster up the energy to get started. Maybe I should throw on some loud rocking out music to rev me up, that just might do the trick, Oh I think Ill start outwith some good Susan Tedeshi. See ya everyone!

Well, I got most of my to do list done today, I'm hoping the weather stays nice so tomorrow I can get my butt outside and do some yard work. Probably need to get the pool cover off and get that up and going in the next few weeks. I here the temps are going to be in the 80's next week. AAAHH summer time is here. :) I did not go to the gym today, but I deserve some time off, I have gone everyday this week. But, this is strange since I did not go to the gym, everytime I stuck something in my mouth today I felt bad. I didn't eat real bad. I had my normal bowl of cereal and 1% milk, but normally Iwould have eaten that at 6:45 am, and instead it was already 11:00. And later in the afternoon, I made some rice in my rice cooker and cooked that up with some eggs and ate that. I drank some water, but not close to my normal 50-60 oz, so that sucks. I just had another small bowl of cereal, but that will be it for today. My hubby ate dinner at some friends house tonight, (football friends) and one of my sons is staying the night in town with a buddy and the other one just got home, so there was nobody to cook for today, makes it much easier on me. YEAH!! Maybe I'll go to the gym tomorrow afternoon for Group Centergy and a little bike ride. We will see, I really need some hubby time, so hopefully he and I can get up early and get breakfast, that would be a good start of my day for sure!! Well, I'm off to read some diary's everyone enjoy your evening.

Hi Kim. Hope you have fun doing all that yard work! I did mine last weekend, so I can have a good time this weekend with my daughter, going hiking and stuff.

If you've gone to the gym every day for a week, yes you definitely DO need a break!
