Despite your NFL team OWNING my Bronco's it was a pretty darn good weekend. LOL I think the Broncs just need to call it a season and start over next year. LOL but HEY, I've seen come backs happen, so I guess it's possible, it a HUGE STRETCH of the imagination. LOL LOL

As a Lions fan, I am fully aware of how it feels to get your ass kicked..lol. It's been a long time since the Lions owned anyone.

Glad to hear your son's feeling better. Just takes time--and possibly a new gf to get him over it. ;)

AHHHH sorry to hear about your headache, it might just be the change of weather working it's seasonal magic on every one lately. Last night it got down to 32 here and it's only going to be a high of 59 today, which is a HUGE difference from 79 we had yesterday, this OK weather wears me out!! Enjoy your day today my friend, and I hope your head is feeling better!!

Hey There Umbra!!!! Nice to see you stop by, THANKS!! I'm really easy when it comes to plans falling through, that's why I normally only go with the flow and rarely set things in stone. If I get up on Saturday and I feel great and want to take off and venture out on a drive, then I do it, and if I feel blue and just want to hang out at home, then I hang at home. I really easy going when it comes to my down time, but I must say I do enjoy just getting to go somewhere and getting away from town, I need to do some more of that and soon. :hurray:
About the Chex mix, my hubby buys a HUGE box of individually packaged Chocolate/Carmel chex snack packs, and I think there about 25 packages each 100 calories only, and they taste GREAT! in my opinion, I really like them, when I'm craving something sweet, yet not loaded in calories, it curbs that tendency to go for a cookie or piece of candy, THANK GOSH!! You should give them a try, you might be surprised. Let me know what you think if you do. Hope your day is a good one, I'll skim by your diary a little later. CHOW !!

WOOOO did I have a night of working out or WHAT???? It was all fun! well except for how I felt after I ran 1/2 a mile.

First off I started upstairs on the run/walk track, I walked around briskly about 3 times, then got into my run mode, I ran about 1/2 mile, which was good for me to start off, I felt great, EXCEPT for this HORRIBLE tickle I ended up with in my throat, it was so bad It kept me coughing for hours, I was like WHAT THE HECK???? Has anyone ended up with this issue before?? I would drink water, it still wouldn't help, it had me hacking all night. LMAO!! that's what I get for trying to run, maybe it's a sign?????

After the run, I immediately jumped on the Step Climber it's been months since I used this machine, as I'm so into the elliptical or Arc trainer now, I tend to avoid it. But.... I felt the urge and literal ran on there for about 20 minutes, that was enough time to get me to 6:00 pm when the 1/2 hour circuit training class starts, So then I ran upstairs and joined circuit. I love that class, it's a combo of upper body weights and leg crunches, it's feels great to do it!! I thought I was going to be to tired to join my 1 hour of Body Jam, but I was surprised, I had enough energy to go the whole distance, YEAH!!! Jam was a blast, I just love this class, I wish they had it every day! I can't even imagine the amount of calories I burned last night, but it must have been in the 600 range, as the body jam class alone is 400.

I ate super good yesterday and stayed within my calorie range, and I wasn't starving before bed, that was great!! My Hubby made pancakes for dinner last night. LOL LOL what a sweet heart for doing that and all I had to do was eat a couple, MMMMM they were so good, the package said you can have 3-4" circles for 220 calories, and that's what I did, except for the 3 tbsp of syrup I used, pretty much I just lightly drizzled on each, NOT SOAKED! they were YUMMY! I love breakfast for dinner some nights, it's a good change. however, it did leave me craving OJ and I didn't have any, BLAH!!!!!!! :willy_nilly:

Today, I got up feeling good!! I had my small bowl of Mini wheats/raisin bran crunch, I had to combine, because I only had about 5 little biscuits left in the box, and well that wasn't going to cut it. LOL LOL I brought in a sandwich from home, and I'll be stopping by the store at lunch to grab maybe some cottage cheese for work or some yogurts, something new I'm bored with the old stuff for now. Tonight it's circuit training and maybe I'll try running around the track about 6 times before I leave, that way I'm not hacking during my entire workout. LOL LOL I'll probably run on the arc trainer for 1/2 hour then the bike for 1/2 hour it all depends on time, I HATE that it's dark when I leave the gym now, that just freaks me out, I need to find close parking as you just never know, RIGHT LADIES!! I usually wait for a few other people to leave, then just join the group on the way out, I'm a SAFETY GIRL!
OH, I have to mention two more things that made my DAY!! Last night when I got home from the gym, my hubby told me that his Coworker KAT, asked him if I had lost a lot of weight recently, she said I looked really good and toned when she saw me at the Wine/Cheese auction on Friday night, he said YES, she's been working out 4 days a week at the gym. She said, wow it's shows. Then when I got to work this morning, my boss who calls me Kimberly, said "Kimberly, are you still losing weight"??? I said, Oh yeah! and he said "Wow, how much more do you want to lose" as if I should probably slow down or something, even though he didn't come right out and say you look great, I knew what he meant, and it's finally nice to know that at least people are seeing the change now, that's what really counts I guess. I'm really pleased with my progress, and it makes me even more excited to get to my goal!! OH and I popped on the scale this morning, down a pound, but I won't even consider it until Saturday's weigh in. So it's HUSH, HUSH for now. LOL LOL plus, I still haven't received the visit from aunt flo, but the signs are all pointing to it's any time be alert, if you all know what I mean. LOL LOL
I better run, I have so much to do.

Good for you for running, and I have had the tickle before, a long time ago I think when I first started running--too bad but don't let it stop ya, ya hear? :D Great food, nice husband, and glad that people are noticing you are in shape! That's wonderful. Keep pluggin away and soon you'll have your cheerleader body back, OH-YEAH! :party:
 
WOW my cheerleader body back, that certainly would be something. I was so thin back then, and flat abs, those were the days. I'm sure I'll never have it like back then, but I am CERTAIN, I will get it back in good form. :hurray:

Hey! Way to go with the running last night! I've had the tickle before and someone told me it was because of the heavier breathing. It dries out your throat and kind of chaps it or something. I lurve the ArcTrainer! That's how I begin and end every workout. Really burns those calories.
 
Good God!! I am feeling exhausted from reading about your workout last night. You have amazing energy!! I swear, you are always on the go. I think that in addition to me being the evil twin, I'm also the lazy twin...lmao. You are like the energizer bunny! hehe

Wow, that sounds like a hell of a workout. I don't think I could keep up with you. You must push yourself harder than anyone in the entire gym.

AMY: Yeah, I'm serious it about had me in a choke all night, I wasn't out of breath, but I noticed the cough was rough like congested rough, WEIRD, you know what you sound like when you get a bad chest cold, that's what it sounded like when I coughed, LOL LOL Today, NOTHING. RESPIRATORY DISTRESS. YIKES!! LMAO!! I'll keep trying, but geez, people probably thought I was contagious or something.

TOM: Your so funny!! A year ago, I was so out of shape, but my cardio/endurance has tripled since then, I really can go for a long period of time strictly on stamina alone, but I tell you what, once I stop, I'm DOWN FOR THE COUNT, and there is NO, and I mean NO getting me started again. LOL LOL I have a LOT of awesome power houses at my gym, Men and women both, and I probably fall some where right in the middle, which is just fine with me, I'm not one that ever wants to stand out, so I'm good!! :hurray:

Hi Kim

I am pleased that your weight is down - even if you are not counting it.

You really do get your money's worth out of that gym - with all that different exercise.

I am so pleased that you are getting all these people noticing how well you have done. It is one thing you knowing about it and your husband commenting on it (because that is their role) - but it is great that all these other people noticing and commenting too. I am sure that it will give you a really good feeling every time.

I hope that things continue well and "goal reaching" (to quote our friend).
