Hey There my TX sunshine girl!!

Funny you should say that about your son today, as mine just told me yesterday that his girlfriend of over a year and half, just broke up with him, OH MY GOSH!!! and today, she drove some guy home in her car, what a little BIATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I knew I didn't like her for some reason, but I treated her awesome and made cakes for her on her birthday and so many other things, BLAH!! I just want to go up to her and smack her! My son is besides himself and how she can hook up with someone else so fast, DAMN she was just over our house last week Friday night. Teenagers, I just don't understand them.

Omigosh, bless his sweet heart!

Man...she is that!

I just dread that part of Cory growing up.. He has had a few lil crushes but that's it since he's just 13 going on 14..

He's too into friends at this point and all the X-Box/X-Box Live stuff to worry about girls... I'm so thankful!

It'll be here before I know it though! :ack2:

Hope he feels better/heals soon! :hug2:

That sucks about your son--but if that's the way she is, he's better off without the scuzbucket..lmao. I love that word--so 80s. He'll find a better gf soon, I'm sure. Aaahhh...teenage love....sigh...it's heartbreaking. :)

Hi Kim -- what is it this month? My daughter's boyfriend is breaking up with her, my son and her girlfiend are on the outs -- must be something in the air.

Wow, crazy! Look, I'd offer some sympathetic words, because I DO feel for the broken hearted.....it sucks! Nonetheless, after a person heals, she/he gets more strong and then realizes in retrospect that a loved one is better off happy-even if that doesn't mean that is with that person. But still, if it makes you feel better....to hell with that little skank!!! LOL!! Love you! :hug2: Give your son a hug for me!

Oh ouch about the bust ups. I do feel for the kids. Now you have reminded me I am thinking how I am not looking forward to my own children going through this. From this distance of many, many years I still remember how intense those young love pains were. I'm sure I will be getting some slap 'em impulses when the time comes. Cos mums want to help, and it's hard to watch your kids hurting and not really be able to fix it.

Happy Halloween Everyone!!

Thank you all for your sweet and kind words for me and my son!! He seemed to do alright last night, thank goodness for his TWIN brother who was also there for him, it's so nice to see them helping each other, AHHH brotherly love!! I asked him if he wanted to go to the Blazer Hockey game with me tonight, and he said "your not going to the gym"?? I said, NO if you want to go see the game I won't go, instead I'll spend some time with you. He said, let me see and I'll let you now later this afternoon. That's fine, because our tickets will be at Will Call anyways. I hope he decides to go, to get his mind off the ex. Also, my sons guitar teacher called him up and gave him some kind words and told him they need to jam sometime and for my son to come listen to his band play. I thought that was so sweet!! He has a lot of people rooting for him, so I think he'll do alright.

On a weight loss note, I'm feeling real bloated this week, and now I'm lightly spotting, which usually happens about 4 days before aunt flo shows up, so WHOOPTY DOO!!!!!!! I'm so excited I can't explain in words. "NOT"!!!!!! LOL but at least that explains why I've been a little off the past few days. :ack2:

I'm a little bummed too, because it looks as if the two girls that were going to go this Saturday with me to Ladies Night out have caved at the last minute, DAMN IT!! Funny thing is they don't even know each other, they have never met One is now having a bit of a money issue, I told her I would pay the hotel cost, but she said she really is broke and would want to purchase wine and other goodies there too and would be upset that she wouldn't be able to, I UNDERSTAND completely. The other, well it's her family she has an issue that arised this week. UGGG!!! I must see if I can find some one else, I really want to go, and if it wasn't an hours drive away from home, I would go by myself, but if I'm drinking, I'm not driving home and well, it just doesn't look right a women showing up alone to drink, seems funny to me. Decisions, decisions. I told my H I might end up dressing him up as a women and taking him along. LOL LOL that would be funny! Oh well, such is life, we will just have to see who else is available, and if not, there is always next year.

That's about it for now, I must get some work done!! I had my normal bowl of mini wheats this morning and 1% milk. I have a half sub wheat bread/chicken and veggies, mmmmm and water, water, water. Not sure about dinner tonight as I might be at the hockey game and if that's the case, I'll probably grab some soup there. MMMMMM I'll check on diary's as I get the chance. CHOW everyone!
Kim

Hey beautiful Sugar Butt,

you know that if the girls and I lived near you, we'd most definitely make it out for Ladies Night. WOOT WOOT! Ummm I mean yah... there might be some "Girls Gone Wild" kind of action (we can just tell Kimberly to stop flashing everyone.. she's crazy sexy like that.) but hey, it would be a blast! I'd end up with a bottle of wine topless repeating over and over, "God.. it's so hot around here.... isn't it hot? I mean.. am I the only one that's hot?" HAHA!!

As for your son... well, I saw his pic and he's adorable. He'll find a girl no doubt... hopefully the next one won't be a little biatch. Just run a background check, mami. hahaa Well, love yas, doll... wishing you a wonderful halloween!

AHHHH Thanks Sugar Booty, you know how to make a person smile, you crack me up!!! And you know it is feeling a little HOT IN HERE!! WOOOOO, as I'm taking off my sweater! I better be careful I have several pervs in the office who seem to never look me in the eye when they're talking to me, HMMM Wonder why that is....... LOL LOL Lucky for them I like em! LOL

I couldn't even imagine the amount of fun I would have if several of my girls from this forum came in for Ladies Night Out, HOLY TOLEDO, we would be in the paper for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You guys are welcome out anytime, I have lots of room! :hurray:

I'm sure he'll find some one better, I just hope he doesn't dwell on this one for to long, I know how hard it can be getting over your first serious girlfriend/boyfriend so I'm not going to harp on him about it. He has a lot that he wants to accomplish this year, so I hope he just gets his mind off of her and gets it done! He is a cutie!! AND he has one of the biggest hearts out there. AHHHHHH I'm sure it's what all moms think of their kids. LOL LOL

LOL LOL Yeah, that part sucks, but to be honest, my H is a great cuddler to, so I'll just have to work that in my schedule instead. LOL LOL It's funny, I'll say "Hey babes, can I have a little romance tonight" that's a phrase, meaning Honey, will you rub my head or back tonight. LMAO!! It's so funny, but damn I love those nights!! Most people would think if a girl asked her H for romance it automatically would mean sex, CRACKS us up, because it doesn't mean that at all in our household. LOL LOL

And YEP, I was just telling Sheryl that it would be a blast having all you girls come out for Ladies Night. I'm sure we would end up on the local news, but hey what's fun without a little media right?? LOL LOL I still have several people I can call, but I HATE calling people at the last minute to ask them to do stuff, because I know people are busy and I don't want any of them thinking I want them to drop anything or feel bad if they can't, We will just have to see how it plays out, I'm sure I can find someone.

I prefer last minute as I hate to make plans in advance, not knowing how I'll be feeling or what I'll be doing or what's going on. Try calling someone and just say, "hey, I know its last minute and I dont want you to feel obligated, but...can you go here..if not that's cool and we'll meet up another time soon."

TTYL Beautiful!

Yeah, I'm like you in that respect also, I never plan in advance, I just decide that day and go. I'm sure it cost me more by not reserving things weeks in advance, but things change up so fast, you just never know. Unfortunately with this event you need to purchase tickets, and well I hope they are not sold out. OUCH!!

Another advantage to doing things in the last minute: you may not have to do them at all! Half of all problems go away on their own if you just leave them alone. :)

Hey Ladybug!
Just thought I would pop in real quick.
Wanted to tell you to have a great week and to rock it out.
Sorry haven't been around much this week. I think I got a bad case of the blahs. :ack2:
Keep up all the good work!

You are so right TOM!! I couldn't agree more!

Hey there Bell, don't worry about not stopping by much this week, we all get busy or have other things going on, so I totally understand. I love the new AVI by the way, very cute!

Hi Kim

Just catching up on your news.

I am so sorry to hear about the broken-hearted son. I certainly had my heart broken when I was a teenager (I suspect that most of us did) - and it is an unbelievably painful experience. I am pleased that he has so much support.

I hope that your wine-tasting gets sorted out after having been put in doubt. Phone round your friends as some may be hoping that something crops up - and it certainly sounds like fun. Not everyone gets booked up months in advance - and things can easily be phrased so that no-one feels in any way obliged. The worst that can happen is that people say "I have other plans". All you lose is a little time and the cost of a few phone calls.

I think that using the skirt as a gauge is a brilliant idea. You never know - I may copy it if I get that far (I still have an awful long way to go). I had a couple of skirts that I really loved when I was young and I have always refused to part with them. I would adore getting into those again. Be sure to post a photo when you get into your skirt.

Take care
Love
Margaret

When I was a teen, I was a tiny bit of a playa and never once got hurt by a guy. AH! the days....*wistful* I've grown soft since then ;)

Hey! I only do that on Wednesdays when it's TLD! ;) Speaking of which, with the sight being down so much today, I was unable to wish you all lots of lezzie love. :beating::beating:

Hope your son is feeling better! Poor thing. Heartbreak sucks ass.

Oh, I wish I either lived closer or had craploads of money. I'd be down there in a sec to go to ladies night with ya!! And if we all got together, it would get very wild and crazy--especially if Sheryl was there!!
