Well, it's official, I lost crazy inches for the month of June, but not one pound, how weird is that?

not very weird - you're working out like crazy so you are losing fat and possibly gaining muscle... enjoy yourshrinking frame :D

Mal's right and you should be SO HAPPY you lost all those inches, I know you are!!!!!!!!!!! Muscle weighs a lot. I suspect I have gained some, but I also know I need to change my diet, too. We'll do it together! Anyway, I suspect that you'll be dropping 5 lbs soon. I'm not usually wrong on stuff like that! Have a great day! :)
 
I know I said the same thing in my diary but, I think changing it up is going to benefit you greatly. Do you weight lift at all? I don't know if it's my imagination or not, but I think I'm feeling better after just a couple days of it! You're doing a fabulous job Kim. :)
 
Hey Kim, its good that you're trying to change up your plan a bit. The different class definitely sounds like it'll help. I get 14 calories for a cup of cucumbers, wasn't sure how many you're going to eat but .. :rotflmao: Fitday could be off.
 
Hi Kim, I remember gaining a lot of muscle when jogging, doing the elliptical trainer and lifting weights and it's disappointing to gain weight after all that hard work. Hang in there, yah, try something different, that's what I'm doing. Listen, I really believe health living is about having FUN and something that GIVES not takes away energy. It shouldn't be some kind of weird obsessive freak show. LOL You'll turn it around some how. You whole lotta woman, you.
 
Perhaps you are geting my hydrated :)

There are two ways to gain fat in my book, and that is, to either gain excess fat by diet, or excess fat by losing LMM.

Obviously, you are losing fat and no muscle, which is healthy :) Keep it up
 
i just saw the pic Kim and you really look so fantastic :D and i love the outfit. i have the same problem you do, i'm losing inches but weight not so much. i'm also thinking of changing my routines a bit when it comes to exercising. its probably the best thing to do :)

Cucumbers have become a very good friend of mine they are so low in cals and I love my celery as well :):):) Girl I gotta start droppin in more - ive been busy and tired and leaving for work early it has been sucking but Im here now :):):) with my smiling face - hee hee hee - have a great day - I gotta go and walk the dog...
 
Thanks everyone for your encouraging words and great advise!! I worked out hard at the gym last night. I spend at least 2 hours there any time I go, I'm feeling like I need to take stock in that gym. Group Groove has introduced three new tracks last night, one was very hard, but damn did I workout!! I also ran about 4 miles on the elliptical before class, that felt great!! Tonight I will either do 1 hour group Centergy or Group Power, probably power, but we will see how tired I am when I head over there this afternoon. I ate great yesterday, and Cita your right I miss calculated on my cucumber calories, uh OH, that means I actually ate a lot less calories then I thought. Oh well, to late to turn back right. I made this huge salad last night oh my gosh it was so great, and so fresh! The only thing that wasn't from our garden was the lettuce, we can't seem to grow that well here for some reason, everything else was picked fresh. We truly are doing well in the veggie area this year. I have to say I'm EXTREMELY TIRED today, I was up and down all night, we had horrible thunder and lightening storms that came through last night and it scared the hell out of me, I saw a lightening bolt come right down and I think it hit a transformer, because we were without power for several hours, it was hot! Again, we haven't had time to dry up from the last month of storms and they say another few days is likely again, can you believe this?? We haven't had this much rain in summer season in YEARS, it's crazy, and still I haven't been in my pool one time yet. UGG! I did get some more flowers potted over the weekend, so it looks really pretty on my deck, I love flowers and plants, I hope they do well in the pots I put them in. Well, It's off to read a few more diary's then I need to get my butt to work. CHOW FRIENDS!

You too!! I need to workout, but maybe I'll just ride the bike and then do group centergy, I need the yoga more than the power probably. Good call!

Hope you have a more restful day tomorrow LadyBug. Are you sure you're not overtraining? Sometimes that can make us tired/irritable, etc. And it sounds like you are going hard, hard, hard!

Thanks Sara!! I wear myself out most nights. I do sleep pretty darn well, but I come home and do dinner and clean up after my workouts and then by about 10:00 I go to bed and watch tv for another hour or so, I need shut-down time so to speak. I love the old re-runs of Frazier! or Will & Grace. LOL LOL Oh and tonight it's "Ghost Hunters" on Sci-Fi. YEAH!! HAHAHA

You know Anna I thought about that too, but I do take time off on the weekends and do not go to the gym, so I think it's just the weather and I'm going through a funk so to speak. I miss getting out and swimming and with all this rain I haven't been able to, so it's bumbed me out a little. But, the gym picks me up, so I think that's not it. I appreciate you!!

Here's hoping you get some sunshine soon...heck I'd gladly give you some of mine if I could...I got all excited yesterday cause it looked like rain...but nope, it was just a teaser.
