Miss Ladybugs Diary

Morning Friends!! I went to the gym last night and biked 8 miles, then took the hour of group centergy, it was such a good workout night. I looked at the miles I've gone in the contest and I'm about 2100 right now, I need to get to 2400 to spin the wheel, and whatever you land on you get. I think two spots on the wheel are for the grand prize, and others are t-shirts, workout bags, etc.... It doesn't matter to me either way, I'm just happy I'm logging so many miles, it's pretty cool, plus either way at the end I'll get another "free" something. HAHHAAH So far I've earned a free "wrist band", and a cute "Doo-Rag that has little dog prints on it, I wear that all the time!! Or maybe you call it a "handkerchief" head band or whatever, everybody has a different name for them. I'm hoping for maybe a free T-Shirt, then I'll have a new outfit. HAHAHAHA I came home after my workout and pigged out, on Salad,mmmm it was so awesome, and cantaloupe and watermelon again. YUM, oh and I had about a cup of that black bean salsa that my hubby makes, it was all FRESH veggies and fruits, so very low calorie but high in fiber and vitamins. Today I had a small bowl of Mini Wheats and 1% milk, then for lunch it's a slim fast shake- 190 calories, and cucumbers and mini rice cakes for snacks sometime later. I'm currently enjoying a 6oz cup of coffee, mmmm. After work I'll head over to the gym and take the hour of Group Groove, maybe I'll understand the NEW track they introduced on Monday it's hard!! and I'll probably run a little too. I will say I stepped on the scale this morning and I'm down a POUND! not bad for 3 days, I just hope it's stays off!! I'm not bringing down my ticker until Monday to be sure and maybe I'll have more than that to report. Let's hope so, I'm working seriously hard for this weight loss. I want to look great for August!! Ahhhhh, I can see it now. How wonderful that will be when I finally get there. Well, it's off to work for me, I'll try to visit some diary's throughout the day today. Enjoy everyone!!

YAY FOR THE POUND DOWN! :) :) That and all your inches! You are doing great logging in all of your hours at the gym too! Cool prizes....and you are the winner in the long run! :) How great if you could hit the grand prize!!! You deserve it, girl! Yummmm, your delicious foods are making me hungry!

Thanks Beth!! I'm going to stay in the back of the room until I have it down, I'm sure I'll look like a fool for at least 3 more classes, this one song and moves are pretty tricky. :)

Thanks Sara!! I wear myself out most nights. I do sleep pretty darn well, but I come home and do dinner and clean up after my workouts and then by about 10:00 I go to bed and watch tv for another hour or so, I need shut-down time so to speak. I love the old re-runs of Frazier! or Will & Grace. LOL LOL Oh and tonight it's "Ghost Hunters" on Sci-Fi. YEAH!! HAHAHA
I love Frasier!!!! My kids bought me a DVD player and a boxed set of season two for my birthday last February. Ah, now I get you, about needing shut-down time...yes, I know exactly what you mean. When we go to work, fit in our workouts and take care of kiddies/supper, cleaning, etc. by the time we go to bed, we haven't had that important down time.

You know Anna I thought about that too, but I do take time off on the weekends and do not go to the gym, so I think it's just the weather and I'm going through a funk so to speak. I miss getting out and swimming and with all this rain I haven't been able to, so it's bumbed me out a little. But, the gym picks me up, so I think that's not it. I appreciate you!!

That's good, I'm glad it's not overtraining. Now that I think about it, I have periods of going hard at the gym, then I'll do something a bit more relaxed for exercise, and I go back and forth between different forms of exercise over the course of one year. I'm really impressed with your energy level right now. You're fitting a lot in.
 
Hot Damn girl on those miles and you think you couldnt keep up with me - LOL - Um I htink you are a little confused - all the exercise go to your brain - hee hee hee - It is I that coudlnt keep up to you my friend - You are doing awesome and I am so proud and happy that your scale showed you a lb down - Excellent chicky just excellent!!!:D:D:D

HAHAHAHA, Cinder I just do what makes me feel good that night at the gym, if it's riding 8 miles, then great, if it's running 4, then alright. But, trust me if I'm tired, my butt will not push it to hard, I only go so far, I don't want to limp home from the gym. LOL LOL Your wonderful, thanks!

Ahhh, thanks Lena for the Hug, I can always use those!! I'm working as hard as my body will let me, but if it starts telling me to slow down, then by all means I will. I would really like to train for a run, maybe I'll look into that for the fall.
 
OH boy I had so much fun in groove last night, like I said previously, they have introduced 3 NEW tracks, which of course means 3 NEW dances, and OH MY OH MY the new ones are pretty damn hard, and if I'm saying that, then trust me, they have some moves in there I was like "HUH"??? It's certainly going to take me at least another 3 classes to get them down. This is what I like a Challenge. Tonight it's another round of group Groove, they moved Friday nights to Thursday nights. YEAH!!! I like my Friday's off. I will also do an hour of Group Centergy, I should certainly make my 2400 miles before the end of next week. YES!! That means I'll spin that wheel, maybe I'll get the free 1 hour massage. AAHHH that would be sweet! Guess what?? It's storming again here today. I tried to send it back to California, but for some reason it has turned that direction yet. We are so flooded out here and I have puddles all over my property, which means Mosquito's damn bugs! They say sunshine for all next week, YES!!! it's going to take that long to dry everything up. Today, I have my mini wheats and 1% milk, for lunch Slim Fast shake, cucumbers and rice cakes for snacks today, and well not sure about dinner, maybe salad and black bean salsa again, I'm a bit addicted to that right now, mmmmm. Low calorie and low fat, you can't beat that!! Have a great day everyone!!

Trust me, right now they are all laughing at themselves, as we are all having a hard time figuring this new stuff out. TRUST ME!! I literally asked one of the trainers to stand in front of me, so I could get the moves down better, it worked, but geesh, it was not easy! :rotflmao:

Well, the up side of that is that laughing burns calories.....

I tried taking Jazzercize classes (WAY back when)....do they even have Jazzercize anymore? LOL! But anyway...that whole coordination thing was lost on me! I just could not get the hang of those classes and felt like an idiot....so I will stick with running, walking, skating, biking and swimming....those I have down. :D

yeah, I think I'd have to be in the front row too....standing in the back was probably half my problem.... :rolleyes:
