Okay, I have to admit something, on Tuesday night when I went to the gym I had only planned on going for maybe 1 hour, since all my classes started late and I got off work early, I had "PLANNED" to ride the bike 7 miles, and run on the elliptical for 3-4 miles, well I did end up doing all that, AND.... as I was leaving the gym, two of my favorite group instructors BEGGED me to stay for the NEW GROUP POWER class, well they had to do a lot of begging, because 1 I was already whipped from all the other stuff before, and 2 I HATE group power, it's that 1 hour of weight training I tell you all about, well I stayed for them, I'm such a sucker!! I told them they were going to need to carry me out of the gym on a stretcher if they keep me there any longer, I logged an incredible time of 3 hours at the gym that night, I have never spent so much time at the gym in my life, and three hours is just way to much in my book. But shit after I got home I counted up the calories I burned in just that one visit, and get this it said I burned 500 on the bike, which is normal, then I ran on the elliptical and did another 340 on that, then group power, probably another 250-300, DAMN!!!!
3 hours at the gym?? You're an animal! No one works out that long!
The "morph" disorder - I think everyone who's ever been fat suffers from it to some extent.
Hey Kim...sounds like your 4th was great! Cool about the black skirt...I'm thinking "how many clothes does this woman own anyway?"....I thought I had the market cornered on shopping (I actually own brand new shoes I've still yet to wear)..but apparently I've met my match!
Oh well, evenutally everything will be too big and you'll have to go shopping for a brand new wardrobe all over again![]()
I'm standing in line, too, to see your pics....I'm betting they show a much more beautiful, fitter, woman than you yourself realize. We just get sooo used to ourselves looking a certain way for a long time that it just can take a while for us to see change - eventually the brain catches up to the reality of the body and you temporarily will become a vain creature who must be peeled away from the mirror (just kidding - sorta)
Have a great day!
I'm with CYM. Also, it's totally normal to think you still look big, especially if you have lost a lot over a short amount of time. I was trippin about how photos put on 10 lbs, especially if you have a round and not narrow face (mine is round and gets chubby as I gain weight, right away). Don't worry about a thing, losing weight takes a LOT of time, trust me!! Argh! Have a wonderful day sweetie!
