So this morrning I woke up and I didn't gain any weght over the weeken:)I

by the way yesterday I went walking to the store with my 8 yearold and we did a couple of sprints and i didn't get tired or passout i was really excited maybe in a few months I'll be able to play soccer with her....can't wait:)

So I finally get to post again so well diary it's been a couple of days and well i have been a little under the wheather so of course no exercise so I am now @213lbs. and but only 1lb.was yesterday with my doing much of nothing including eatting i was just to sick, and well I still am today but at least I went to work and have an appetite today.I'm still really excited about losing weight. talk to you soon.13 lbs to get to 200 my pants are stating to feel a little loose yeah!!!:jump:

dear diary so I had a perrrty good weekend didn't over eat so that was great and well i use size 18 pants and this weekend I went shopping and was able to buy a size 16 :jump: I am so excited but I have been here before so I want to get to a size 14 then I'll really know this is working I decided not to weigh in everyday this week and for some reason it's kind of hard so I took out the batteries from my sacle (this self control thing is really hard) any ways so today i didn't pack my lunch so I'm going to try really hard not to over eat

still doing good on my eatting but today some one came to my office with a basket os treats i'm tring to avoid the kichen cuz that is where they are at aaahhh! I love chocolate, jolly ranchers, laffy taffy all the good stuff any way I still haven't weighed my self but my pants are feeling loose so I'm not complaining but i think i like weighing in every day better I do'nt know maybe because it's an instant gratification thing (hope that is how you spell it?)anyway Does any one have foods that they buy religiously to help them lose weght? just thougt I'd ask

Mina,
Congratulations on your loss so far! I just started almost 2 weeks ago, and I'm not sure if I've lost anything or not because I bought a new scale and it doesn't agree with my old one.

What kind of exercising are you doing? Whatever you are doing seems to be working because you've lost weight. :)

Congrats and keep up the good work!

Hi Mina

Well done on losing weight.

I dont know about buying the same food religeously to help me lose weight - but I do eat very similar food each day. I list everything that I eat in my diary.

I do walk a lot religeously to help me lose weight. I wear a pedometer and have built up my walking.

Good luck with your continued weight loss project.

Take care
Best wishes
Margaret

I weigh daily to track what I am doing. Don't know about the instant gratification since there are certainly days that I go up or stop at the same weight instead of losing. Can't lose a pound everyday healthily anyway! I have a calendar where I write the weight everyday (weighed at the same time in the same way - naked 1st thing in the morning for me!) then I can look at the grand scheme of things overall rather than just comparing today's weight with yesterdays. Seems to help me better that way to see overall on average I'm weighing less than last week or whatever.

As for foods, I don't have anything I get religously but I do try to read the labels on everything & make sure the calorie counts, fat, fiber, sodium & all that are within realistic levels. I track my food intake on Sparkpeople.com to watch how many calories I am actually consuming daily. You will learn that some days you can afford to eat two slices of your favorite pizza & some days you better stick with the salad!

Good luck.

right now i am just doing basic exercises walking (can't run yet) lol one day and well push ups, squats, crunches, and when I'm feeling good i'll try to jump rope it makes me sweat more than walking.even if it is like 10 jumps. thanks for all the imput

Still haven't weighted my self yet but am feeling really good and I took a picture over the weekend and i could see a difference in my face yeah baby!!! Some day I will figure out how to post pictures too share...

Hi Mina!

Thanks for posting to my before and after pics!

It looks like you're doing a great job so far on your weight loss.

I like to keep chicken breast, frozen veggies, whole grain bread, eggs, peanut butter, granola bars, string cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese, instant oatmeal, and lots of different fruit handy in my fridge and even at work. The 100 cal packs are great too!

I began my exercise with walking as well and slowly moved to jazzercize which I love!

Keep up the great work!:hurray:

so i started tracking my food intake lately @fitday.com and i think i am not eatting enough which is kind of scarry i thought i was eatting good

its amazing when you actually start seeing what you are eating. For me it was the opposite issue. I can easily eat way too much.

Glad you are more aware.

Hope all is wonderful.

yes I am excited especially cause what you do affects others my husband is now trying to lose weight and actually i can see a difference in him his stomach definetly and my children are more active. haha even my uncle comes over for dinner now to eat healthy...say no to fat...so this change is deffinetly good...

Hi Mina

Congratulations. It sounds like things are going well.

You have seen visual results for your hard work - in addition to the results at the scales. It is also wonderful that you have influenced your husband and can see visual results there too.

Well done.:hurray:

Take care
Love
Margaret

a new year and fresh start

yes !!! i first have to admitt i stopped eatting right and then trainning so here i am once again having to start all over again :dupe: but i have to do this it seems every day i find something new wrong with my body aside from the almost 100lbs that i have to lose i can't sleep i wake myself up from the snoring (started after weght gain) i get tired so easily i really need the change in lifestyle and want it so much more. i have never actually had a new years resolution to lose weght so here it is in 2008 it will be great i plan to lose 80lbs in the year= a litte over 6 lbs a month see why does it look so easy on paper?:svengo:anyway best wishes to all and a happy new year

Happy New Year!

Good luck with your resolution. 6 pounds sounds do-able. You just have to keep reminding yourself that you are worth it & push yourself to do something everyday.

eatting habits were good today and yesterday. today i had tuna, lettuce, pinapples and lots of water for lunch and for dinner i'll have some grilled chicken on a salad. so me and my husband have this great plan to not eat out for lunch and let me tell you for some reason it's so hard i know i need to lose weight and not eatting out will probly save us so much money but what is up with this love for greasy, salty food that is just no good. So far i am doing good but the temptation is there "just buy somethig" lol is it just me that has these thoughts?
