Yes, I think it was being so active that helped - I can even see my next mini-goal approaching!
I had the gooniest dream last night - or half a dream, because I was half-awake. It was two in the morning, and I dreamed I was eating a slice of the (real) cake in the kitchen, and then dreamed I was thinking (or really did think, if I was awake) about the possibility of getting up and actually eating some of the said cake, and then worried (in my half-dreaming state) that thinking about eating the cake was actually scientifically equivalent to really eating the cake, and that - oh no! - I'd have gained weight in the morning.
And then decided not to worry, and went back to deeper sleep (and didn't eat any cake!) and this morning - good heavens! actually a shade down.
