yeah, it's great to be on the 100's but I'm pretty sure I'm borderline at the moment.... I've been fearing the scale this week lol

heading out on the road bike this morning (my room mate tuned her up for me) before work to get some extra kms in. I've made Thursday my new weigh in day seeing as how it's the end of the month. My prediction? I will have lost 6 lbs in August... but I'm still hoping for more. lol

m2m has been setting weekly goals and if she won't sue me for copyright infringement, I'd like to do the same.

Mike's goals for the week.

Lose 2 lbs
Bike 100 kms before Friday (headed outta town)
Take my ipod for a 5 km run at least once this week.
Stay within my calorie goal
 
Morning Snack
Energy bar

Exercise
cycling 20 kms in 45 minutes (it was freakin' cold!!!)

Breakfast
3 egg omelet, muchrooms and green pepper, potatos, rye bread w/ peanut butter, coffee and orange juice

Lunch
Orange, tostitos and salsa

Supper
Cabbage Roll Casserole, slice of bread, and carrot cake for desert

Total = 2350

While having spent half the day in an attorney's office today, I'd rather not do THAT again for a good long time!

Besides, I must have snagged that idea from *somewhere* :D

Your goals look great Mike, realistic AND attainable!
I love being able to set and meet these goals each week - or work towards achieving them!

And YES your iPod needs to be taken for a walk! I think it's part of the warrenty small print somewhere ;)

It's been awhile since I biked the 45 km route. Still feeling the the results of my cold... still not 100% I had a tough time climbing some of the bigger hills. Damn it, I would love to be just really sick for a few days rather than just a little sick for 3 weeks.
 
ahh Ive been lucky so far. Whenever ive tried to exercise before i ended up getting a cold and its the most uninspirational '3 steps back' thing for weight loss :/

Good on you for getting back on the horse/bike :)
 
yeah, the cold has really hampered me.... but I've kicked some major ass considering!

So this morning I'm up really early... can't sleep due to that wonderful thing known as work related stress. lol

So I thought I'd weigh in 5 hours early... just to get it over with. To my surprise I'm 196!

I lost 8 lbs in August. If it wasn't for my damn cold I know for a fact I would have been able to become an official member of the 10 lb club... oh well, bring on September!

Nice work Mike! 8lbs in August is awesome. Keep up those rides! That's a pretty good pace you're biking at ~ 30kph - nice!

It's been a pretty good week. Even though I didn't get to take my ipod for a run, I did manage to do plenty of walking on the golf course, and I biked 130 kms this week. My weigh in day is monday so no word on if I reached my goal of losing 2 lbs. I've been getting a lot of compliments the last few weeks though :D
 
Wowza...cycling AND caddying 9 holes of golf! No wonder it's a tiring day! (As for being part Hobbit, I am too - I love 2nd breakfast!)

Weigh in day tomorrow. I have a feeling I may have gained some muscle. Muscles have been sore lately lol
 
wishes, according to fitday (which varies depending on my time) between 1300 and 1500 calories

Weigh in day today. I dropped a couple pounds since the 1st. 2 down, 8 to go!
