This weeks goals
Cycle 100 kms
walk/jog 15 kms
lose 2 lbs
win the lottery

I didn't get to cycle the 100 kms, daylight disappears far to quickly now....
I did get in about 11 kms of the walking/jogging, but I do think I achieved the goal by walking the golf course a few times. Losing 2 lbs? I lost 4! Winning the lottery? I won 4 bucks on a scratch ticket!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

ROTFL! I love the hobbit feet! hahahahah :D

Sorry I know I shouldnt laugh at your disability etc :D

LOL!!:D Keep up the good work, and have a wonderful time in winnipeg!!!! Try not to binge but I understand if ya nibble a little!!

lol. sounds like the only goal you missed was the cycling.

may I suggest something though... maybe you should be more specific about your goals... like... winning FIRST PRIZE JACKPOT in the lottery. heheh. aim high. ;)

seriously though, sounds like you had a very good week. :) Have fun in Winnipeg. and way to go on the four pounds!! :D

Mike - great job meeting all your goals, except the cycling!

And I'm sure winning the JACK POT isn't all it's cracked up to be...speaking from experience - well sort of ;)

When my mom was alive, she called me from the hospital and said "I have my lotto numbers - you need to go buy a ticket." I said, "Mom, we do not have the money to burn on lottery tickets" (she and my dad were separated, and I was paying the bills.) She said, "GDammit, I'm lying here in a hospital bed, do you expect ME to go get my own ticket?" "Fine mom, what are your numbers?" I wrote them down on the pad of paper next to the bed and promptly forgot about them. A couple of days later, she calls back, ECSTATIC! "WE WON, WE WON!!! OMG, We Won!!" "We won what, mom?"

Silence....

"You didn't buy the lotto ticket."

11 million dollars that night. No other winner. There on the pad of paper was every number.

So she died not too long after that (totally UNRELATED!) and I was *dirt* poor. Working a day job, going to college full time and working nights bar tending (surprise to anyone here?) ;)

Guess where I met my husband?

Sometimes not winning the lotto is the best thing that could ever happen to you!

Congrats on the $4 bucks!
(and sorry for the long, rambling post!)

so it's been awhile.

Well I didn't really binge while on vacation because in actuality I didn't really eat. One meal per day was the norm... basically because most of our money went towards football and baseball tickets, greens fees, and gas money. we sacrificed a full stomach for fun, terrible isn't it?

Well yesterday I ate around 2000 calories. I haven't weighed in yet, I have a feeling losing that 4 lbs might returned, at least half way.

In the next little while I'll try to catch up on journals, and of course my diet and exercise. Just thought I'd post and let everyone know I'm still alive :)

Welcome back Mike

I got a bike- a Lemond Reno, and my buddy got a Trek 1200. The 1200 is really nice. Thats what you have right?

I know I didn't have a goal list while I was getting over my shin splint issue, and it was *tough*

Glad you're back on track!
