Mike's Diary

yeah when i walk out of the gym im like, did i just really do all of that?

im in that go big or go home stage. i have to get in shape for the summer, my work is gonna be shit if i dont.

basically i work all the time at texas a&m university, dorms, offices, whatever. its usually carrying crap up flights of stairs all day, and then gluing and or whatever else we have to do. i need my back and traps superstrong as well as be pretty fit in the cardiovascular area. i pretty much drug chris up four floors today. he was dying. it made me happy. he is always talking crap about how strong he is and blah blah. just cuz you're 6'7" doesn't mean shit to me, just call me DYNOMITE, fo shizzle.

LOL! DYNOMITE!

wow, that really is some serious workload...i can see why you'd want to keep strong, plus it would help avoid injuries...and have a hot summer bod while your at it too.

i was wondering where that chris went to. i'm guessing you whooped his a$$ in your one on one challenge. hehehe

he is out drinking, etc. as usual. he brings come chicken to work that smells awful.

he has a better chance to drop weight faster than me tho, he is just lazy.

im 6'3 258

he is 6'7 326

he isn't eating enough. he said he had a spoonful of green beans and some corn on the cob last night. i dunno, id help him but he is too stubborn to listen to me. he says he can drink beer and drop weight. whatevz

Man, Mike. You are tall. lol....I'm 4 ft 11" ...I'd look like a midget next to you.

"Go big or go home"...it's great you are at that stage...I find my motivation goes up and down but lately it's been good :)

Good work, btw! Keep it up! Btw, do you have a rough idea of when you will hit your goal? Have a month in mind?

heh, uh.. july 17. my mom and twin sis are coming to visit and they wanna go to galveston or something. but if it isnt then oh well. c'est la vie.

i remember when i originally dropped the weight i got down to 215, i was really slim, i wasn't feeling that look for my frame. so 225 then hopefully i can bulk up and get to 240 or 245. then cut down again. woo.

those negatives on the triple drop really blowout the muscle. as my triceps got really pumped, my biceps started popping out big time, its been 45 mins since i worked out, they still look like they did when i finished my last rep. wow.

work was ok today, i feel like death since my sleeping is kinda off. contacted a nutritionist yesterday, gonna set up an appointment so I can be sure im getting everything i need and making sure what im eating is more beneficial than bad for me.

Don't you love it when you break through a Plateau and drop 5+ lbs!!! :hurray::willy_nilly:

That reminds me I need to call my Doctor's office, to ask if my referral's have gone through for a Nutritionist, that was three weeks ago, and I've not heard anything yet...She kinda forgets to do that kinda thing.

WOOT, you are doing SO WELL. i wish i could have a friend like you here in seattle. i need someone to help me stay motivated when i start losing my own drive. :ack2: oh well, online is great too! :coolgleamA:

ha thanks! its more of a habit now. its like do first, ask questions later type thing. pfft, im here whenev ya need me yo.

hi mike... i read through your entire journal and congrats on your success... :seeya: just wondering what you're eating these days? i know in the early part of the thread, you were consuming a lot of shakes... and then got better with the protein options... but were still incorporating myoplex and cliff bars.

what are the straight sugar counts in those - are they high? do you think you'd make more progress if you tweaked the diet in cutting out the hard sugar entirely from your diet, or has it not been a problem for your progress so far?

just curious
