Michelle's Place- A bit wiser this time around...

I too was in the "WRECKED" business on Thanksgiving. I had my kiddos till 330, but dropped them off at the EX inlaws. I went back to my "family" thanksgiving, but it felt STRANGE!!
Anyways, I like to read about the feelings, and sensations of being preggers!! Really, it's a bond between mother and child that men will never realize... I am so jealous!! YEAH RIGHT!! I thank God everyday for women, and for not making me one!!! :D :D Guys have it so easy!! It is cool to read though ;) ;) Hope all is well in that department. Is it still a boy? :D

Yeah I just kept messing around with whatever log in site that was. So sad not to be able to browse the favorite websites!

So it's a boy. I am having another ultrasound on Friday and they are going to take a few more pics. The little one was in a bad position to get some of the pics they needed of the face. But it moved just enough to see the twig and berries lol. It's a boy. I have mixed feelings about it for sure. I was very much in girl mode and was looking forward to cute pink things. However, I have a boy. I know how wonderful they are to raise. I am familiar with boy things and they have cute little shirts and whatnot Armando can't fit in anymore so now I have a new person to shop for:).
What's really cool is she was able to tell me how the baby is laying and now I can feel the movements I know it's feet because that's where they were this morning. That's just cool. It looks like it has my nose (though it was hard to tell). It has little bones and definitely likes to wiggle. So a house full of boys! Well at least it will be easier when he's a teenager, won't have to get a shotgun... yet;) lol

A boy?!? How exciting. But thing again before you think they will be easy teenagers!! My brother is just as bad as I was, he is 16! And you will still probably need the shotgun, no one will be good enough for your little boys!

Hi JZ! I am sorry to hear you had the rough TG as well. Divorce just sucks when it comes to kids! It's hard to be without them for sure!
Lol you have come to the right place for reading about preggers stuff! Today I will be talking about ACID REFLUX!! Something I completely forgot about from my first pregnancy. Something that happens anytime, anywhere for no reason. It doesn't matter if I have eaten or not, what I have eaten, or how much I have eaten. All the little tricks don't work for me. It's been awful! Tums has really been a lifesaver but it says not to take more than 24 a day.... so I am very careful. Uggggg though!!
I think I would be in a perfect state of mind if it weren't for that reflux:ack2:!
I didn't get to my walk today. Just too busy. I did take the dog for a walk so at least there's 15 minutes! sigh. I will be back out tomorrow. Of course the high tomorrow is supposed to only be 21 degrees!!!! So I don't know what that means for the morning. I need some winter gear I think. At least some ear muffs! It's cold walking in the morning:chillpill: lol so it doesn't really work but it says "chill" on it ;)
LOL Brandy maybe. Fruittart there has one... maybe I can borrow hers;) However, after years of teaching high school the boys did tend to be the low key ones. We shall see. So far my little man is an angel:reddevil: no no really he is! I am interested to see what teenage years bring. They are my favorite years!

Moving day!!

Well tomorrow is moving day and it snowed, and snowed, and snowed so I have not gotten to my walks. As much as I want to walk in the snow I have these vivid images of me falling and hurting myself so it keeps me inside. I have been running up and down the stairs while I get things done so that will have to do for now. Back on it by Tuesday at the very latest. Moving will be tomorrow, Sunday and Monday. I am nervous. It's only up the block but there is snow and I am doing it my husbands way and just packing up a room and taking it over the day of.... makes me very twitchy. So I am cleaning today so I don't have to do much of it later. So much crap just laying around. I have to wonder how many trees my son's class kills each month with all the paper work that comes home. It is everywhere!! Things I can't throw away for some sentimental reason... at least until it build ups and then good bye!! lol
Yesterday I logged my food and thought I did pretty good until I remembered I had a big glass of milk with a chocolate chip cookie for dessert... it's amazing how things like that just escape my memory. lol So my decent day was actually a not so decent day and the scale showed it.
I am still trying to maintain my weight for the pregnancy and I know I can do it. Just focusing and not caving to those late night cravings. The fridge is pretty empty at this point. I didn't want to go grocery shopping right before we had to move it all over so most of my healthy snack staples are not here but it's only a few more days. Still have turkey from Thanksgiving (surprise, surprise). lol
So today breakfast, cleaning, some more cleaning, maybe a bit of packing;), then some more cleaning, maybe a nap... eh who knows?? lol
I may not be on here for a few days then... and then we have a lapse in our internet on Tuesday (OH THE HORROR)! Not sure what I will do without it but I guess it might be a more productive day lol. The darn allure of the interweb;)
lol JZ funny how sarcastic and witty are the same face... Non-witty sarcastic people are hard to take;) Luckily there are none of those here!! Fruittart and I tried to im each other with just smilies to get sentences across... realized shortly that we needed the words lol. I am rather sad there is a smilie quota here because I often find myself having to go back and edit my post to get rid of excess smilies. One of the major flaws of this board actually!! :p lol

Hey people are busy here;) lol. I know. The camera cable is upstairs in my suitcase and I keep forgetting to bring it down lol. Of all the excuses. I texted you a pic even though I know you don't get pic texts... sigh. It was a good one too! Had the sun trying to shine through the clouds and all the snow and a big snow covered tree and it said "Hello from Sunny Colorado!!" It was just brilliant;) lol
I will have to post pics before the internet goes off!
 
Hope your move goes well! You have a great excuse for not always eating healthy... "Oh, baby just had to have it..." Way to not fall on that excuse! Very respectable. :) Also, better get those pics to Tart... she'll hound you for them ;) !! Have a great day. :)

4 days and counting

I don't remember what a leisurely day feels like!!! Ok I am exaggerating a little but it's been almost non-stop move. Diet has not been great because when you are running up and down stairs with boxes and crap and then you take a food break everything on the menu looks good and I tried to order just about as much as I could lol. However, the last two days I have done better. I think the big thing is that I get home after we are done and just get hungry... not real hungry but nosh-y. I think the up and down the stairs might balance it out though. What's 4 hours on the stair machine;) lol
So tomorrow should be the last day. My husband has had to go to work the last few days so I have been packing and moving things downstairs solo. Today was the hard core day as I cleared 2 bedrooms and bathrooms :D I was pretty impressed with myself;) lol. Oh yeah just to make things interesting it snowed a foot last night!! Then the snow melted today and then froze when the sun went down into nice slick ice. Even my snowboots slipped on that stuff. Finally threw down some rock salt which I had in the garage for making ice cream.... sometimes I am glad I don't throw things away!
Tomorrow I have one or two more loads and then cleaning. There are a few accident places from the dog that I am trying to get clean but otherwise everything else is cleaning nicely. I haven't gotten to the kitchen yet though and that is always the crap thing to clean. Especially the stove and the fridge! I bought some pretty pink gloves to protect my hands though.
Ugggg can't wait to be done!!!
Lol JZ the only thing I can really pin on baby right now is lack of sleep (hard to get comfortable as I can only sleep on my side) and sudden urges to pee. The crap I eat is allll me lol. At least when the move is done I can stock the fridge.

Hi Tammy! Thanks:) With the ice today I had to walk very slowly. Getting ligament pain from all the moving and working. :banghead: I will be glad to take it easy again. I realized yesterday that when I was about 6 months pregnant with my son I moved... seems to be a pattern with me. Of course I have moved 8 times in the last 6 years and I don't ever want to leave this apartment!!! lol Who needs a house;) he he he
